Nice smoke/damage stuff. Shame it's useless in 8th as vehicles don't remain on the table when destroyed and they don't show how many wounds are off a unit to represent damage. Even buildings are removed from the table.

GW dropped the ball on that. I want my vehicles to act as cover when they die like they do in real life. It's an extremely minor thing and doesn't stop any 'realism vs fun' crap. You use to be able to spam cheap transports to use as cover, now? Useless.

Noble Archons, did anyone got to watch the Deldar VS dumbzekers of khorn? Did we won against those Mon' Keigh dogs? Or was it rigged to keep the CSM fags butthurness at minimum?

I need something to fill the last 117 Points. So far I've considered a devastator squad with two lascannons/missile launchers or a vanguard vet squad with power swords and a plasma pistol.

SS get -2 to get hit with conceal, get two phases of shooting with soulburst from corsair/SS screen, farseer with 24" range casts fortune on a unit of 10 rerolling misses to hit on S6 AP-3 prism rifles that generate an extra attack per hit up to 3. Autarch gives rerolls of 1 to hit for the other units. Yvraine gives free soulburst in psyker phase allowing a unit of scourges to get another shooting phase.

I would advise if you must do this to tie up beforehand whatever you plan to charge with your summoned bloodletters so their charge attempt (which requires at least a 9 on that 2d6) doesn't provoke overwatch.

massed dark lances on scourges are maybe the best way to deal with the rhinos carrying zerkers

He's basically evil. In general the Imperium's morality is run off of the idea that "well everyone else is worse". Chaos consists of two types of people, people who go absolutely crazy and say "fuck morality" and the people who say "well honestly fuck the imperium isn't as bad as chaos". Really its a struggle to tell who is more evil.

In the last thread I got advice to not prime my raider on sprue.
Now I'm after suggested sub-assemblies. I've already put together a side and the deck for it.
I'm thinking put the little spike, horn things on the sides, probably the bottom and crew individually and the sail.
I don't know what relies on other bits as I haven't done one of these before, though. Will this work, or will I run into trouble?
Also, should I invest in a white primer purely for the sail? I'm planning on doing it up Cabal of the Black Heart

With an Inquisitor who has a Felinid who she uses as an assassin. I made the Inquisitor a Ordo Xeno Lod. I also planned to have an Eldar as part of her retinue but I wasn't sure.

Probably a stupid question, but does what you see is what you get apply to units that don't come with some weapons their codex say is part of their equipment? For example, the codex says sanguinary priests are equipped with blot pistols, but their model kits don't come with one

If he's summoning bloodletters at the back then the bloodletters probably wont get to the battlefield. Maybe have him advance up turn one? Possibly a biker lord so he gets to a nice position behind cover (as in where its hard to get LOS on him) really fast? Because footslogging bloodletters being summoned at the back might as well have been deployed turn 1.

Probably. In some respects, I agree with ADB's updated depiction of the Emperor. He really is an absolute shithead if you look at the history of 40k's lore. The Emperor is so advanced that "lower" concepts like humanity do not register with him. Problem is, understanding of humanity was a core principle needed for him not to fuck up.

I also perfectly understand why /pol/ hates ADB. They are only drawn to 40k because the Imperium is a fascist shithole that appeals to them, so it's natural for them to want to defend it as a good thing when it clearly isn't, and go against anyone who disagrees with that notion. ADB is attacking the Imperium at its core, and consequently attacks the very heart of a White Supremacist's ideals at the same time. Really hits home that they take it on a personal level by mentioning his father issues constantly.
