Wrong edition edition.

Okay so I'm coming from 5e, and my group doesn't know any other system. How do I sell them on WFRP 2e?

No self-insert OCs allowed

Ulric's fury shits on nat20s

Let's try this again since nobody replied last thread. I compiled the high elf army book pics some nice user dumped some days ago into one pdf. Is this an okay pdf? Can we upload it somehow? Does anyone care? Please respond
>www4.zippyshare.com/v/6NEQwv8I/file.html

Soon

>Ulric's fury shits on nat20s
This.
Nat 20's are fun and all, but Ulric's Fury actually MATTERS more and my group gets hyped as shit when you roll more then one in a row.

Who is more handsome, Karl Franz or Wulfrik the Wanderer?

Before you did this I HATED the High Elf (6th edition) scan but now I LOVE the High Elf (6th edition) scan

Somebody replace the scan in OP with this copy because it looks good.

THANK you user

So TW:W takes place in year 2517 right? That's the year Franz battled spiderclaw.

It doesn't really take place at any time at all, due to the appearance of certain characters long since dead in the "present" of the setting such as Vlad and Azhag.

I thought it started, roughly speaking, in 2502 when Franz was elected. Worrying about timelines is pointless since half the major figures are halfway across the map from where they're supposed to be or shouldn't even exist at this point etc.

>Pigeon bomb description says the bomb falls off the pigeon after the fuse goes past a certain point
>the chart says that no, it doesn't and the bird explodes

Is there a postal system in the Warhammer universe?

Vlad is not a timeline inconsistency, he was specifically stated to have been resurrected once more, though through unknown means.

Azhag is however yes

The hat did it

>Azhag doesn't have his crown at first and needs to unlock it through a quest
>is constantly wearing the crown and even talking to it no matter if you take the quest or not
>also why is he in the Badlands, if he is wearing the crown why doesn't he just head down to Nehekhara anyway, half the plot of his first campaign was him trying to slaughter his way back to Nagash's location

>is constantly wearing the crown and even talking to it no matter if you take the quest or not
Karl Franz has Ghal Maraz and Archaon has Slayer of Kings. They don't change their models during the game.

I like how azhag tries to take care of his boyz.

Both the Empire and Dwarves have a state organized letter carrying system, though many still use private couriers. Furthermore, the Empire has a signal tower systems for long range communication, most humans have letter carrying pigeons, and Nuln is always fucking with speaking tubes and sound wires. Then you get magical options.

Dwarven messengers, Imperial signal tower operators and generic couriers all have official job stats in WHFRP 2ndEd.

I don't have it on my phone, but WAR had great, labeled concept art of an imperial signal tower. think like Discworld klaks, but with more skulls.

Question for the roleplayers: what is your dream warhammer campaign that you wish you could play/run?

Search for the 'fountain of youth' an Old One medical facility to save the ailing Emperor and help prevent civil war. Either that or re-run my old campaign of a Chaos Lord from the future trying to stop the End Times from happening so that all of existence doesn't die, but do it right this time.

Travel through silk road.

I've done that. Well, I helped to bushwhack a trading company that was returning from Ind. They were bringing spices, tea and even elephants with them back to the Old World. The elephants did not survive.

I created a WFRP 2E Character Creator in Excel, and I figured I'd share it.

It auto-calculates characteristics, skills, talents, wounds etc. - you only have to roll some dice and input the respective d100/d10 number. It also includes all the basic careers from the Careers Compendium, which you can select via a dropdown menu.

Here's the link: dropbox.com/s/xgaee0dsy5nsn47/Warhammer Fantasy 2E, Character Creator v0.9.3.xlsx?dl=0

And here's some screenshots: imgur.com/a/OSMTC

If someone could add this to the pastebin (if that is doable) it would be much appreciated.

Why? Is it just because before end times shitfest gods didn't manifest in general?

>I don't have it on my phone, but WAR had great, labeled concept art of an imperial signal tower. think like Discworld klaks, but with more skulls.

Shit, really? I've never seen that and I've spent some time digging up information about the Empire's semaphore system.
If you could post that when you have access to it, that'd be great.

She was unique in that she appeared in person, or used an avatar, for her most dedicated followers. Gods aren't people, they're literally ideas, dreams, unconscious thoughts, desires and fears made manifest in the Realm of Chaos. Essentially all gods are Chaos Gods, but that doesn't mean they're part of the 'Big Four'. The Bretonnians worshipped the Lady since ancient times, along with the other gods. Their worship and thoughts and ideals gave form to a goddess that embodied and cherished those ideals. One who would reward honour, chivalry and piety. Gilles just happened to be the first person she appeared to because he was the greatest knight ever.

End Times throws that all in the garbage by having gods masquerade as other gods, as well as having gods get sick and die. That's like trying to physically assault an idea.

It's easier to play.

>They don't change their models during the game.
This is by far my biggest gripe about TWW.

It would be great even if it was just the Legendary Lords that changed. Karl with a Runefang, Archaon in a lesser suit of Chaos Armour, etc.

Some people seemed to become gods. Sigmar, Grimnir & the Dwarf ones did.

Shogun 2 has a decent character creator, even if it was just for playing online, I don't get why they wouldn have tried implementing that in future games, especially with the whole "we want units to be personalized" talk that started as far back as Rome 2. TWW seems like the best excuse you could possibly have to incorporate "your dudes" in a way that means more than just stat increases.

Sigmar was worshipped as a god, but it wasn't the Sigmar that founded the Empire. Merely a being that resembled him in nearly every way. A warp presence that was based on him.

The Ancestor Gods are a bit more complicated as they were flesh and blood but simply returned to the earth after their task was done. As with elves, the dwarfs relationship with their gods is different from that of men. They may have temples and some priesthoods but it doesn't play as large a part as it does in human society or their every day lives. They are more concerned with the here and now, at least when it comes to religion. Practicality over spirituality.

At least you're trying more subtle techniques Carnac, even dissing the End Times. That's pretty incredible.

No. Fluff that we follow on /wfg/, namely 6th and 7th edition, says that not all Gods are Chaos gods. All spiritual entities DO come from the Warp, however, and this is how they came into existence when the gates failed and energy poured into the world. Technically, Chaos is where all the Gods come form, but not in the way you're cleverly painting it as.

Even the Chaos Gods we know of, the Big Four, are not "Gods of Chaos", they're gods of Destruction. Chaos is instability and a concept rather than an element. It has many facets, even good ones. The Big Four are Gods of Destruction, the evil facet of Chaos. The other gods came from the Warp, supposedly, but embody many other emotions.

If you go back even further, it was said that the only true 'big" gods were those of Destruction (Tzeentch, Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh, and Malal) and those of Order (Solkan, Alluminas, Arianka, one or two unnamed others) and that their energies powered all good and evil gods in the world; the Horned Rat was empowered by the Destructive gods, and Ulric was empowered by the Order gods, for example.

Again, you're technically right, which I'll applaud you for. It's better than your usual Be'lakor worship/Chaos fanwank, but it's still misleading. All the world's Gods are from the Warp, and not related to the "Big Four" as we know them.

Then again, maybe that's your point and we misunderstand it. You may not be Carnac, but you never know.

Are the Nehekharans the greatest race of Man?

>First civilization of Men
>Powerful and warlike, but still learned and knowledgeable
>The greatest warmblooded warriors on the face of the planet
>Beat the shit out of the greenskins so hard, they never even make it out of the jungle and stay there for thousands of years
>Hunt dwarfs and take them as trophys for fun, collect so many grudges they damnatio memoriae your civilization
>Bronze Age Men in chariots defeat gunpowder, runes, gyrocopters, and gromril like it's nothing
>While elfs are enslaving every other human race, beat the arrogant elves in battle so many times, they damnatio memoriae your civilization
>Unarmored Bronze Age Men with a kopesh defeating arcane magicks, dragons, phoenixes, and ithilmar.
>All of this while divided into numerous kingdoms
>Later groups of men get superior metallurgy, gunpowder, and larger numbers and are still scared of dwarfs and elves
>Later groups of men don't even realize that they were once the topdog on the planet

I don't like Carnacposting as much as anybody, but I think you're seeing him as some kind of boogeyman, appearing out of nowhere to ruin everyone's good time. You basically have my point just in different words, though when I say 'Chaos God' it simply means they all spring from the same source: Mortals. The Chaos Gods, the Big Four, are more powerful because the emotions/dreams/etc that empower them are far simpler than say the human pantheon of Taal and Rhya, Ulric, Shallya and the rest who have more complex needs.

And just to post it again, Be'lakor is a lesson in never trusting Chaos because a slave will always be a slave even if he's a prince.

Nehekhara was confined to one part of the world and never left because it was too busy fighting itself. The Karaz Ankor was shattered and busy staving off the orc-alypse and Ulthuan was in civil war. They even had to have their gods empower them and became weak manlets after the bond was broken. It was literally a nothing dustball that got murdered in one night.

Hell, their entire way of fighting was based on their neighbours. They even found the taking of a city to be shocking because it hadn't been done since Settra's time.

That pic is the old 1stEd RPG yeah? Its basically an updated version of that exact pic.

Leoun Leoncour.

So buff they sought out and found immortality.

Louen is first, then Franz, then Wulfrik

You forgot about Grom.

>>most successful greenskin
>>went on a world tour
>>huge goblin that headbutts orcs to death
How can orcs ever recover?

The list was only humans that are alive

after becoming the Everchosen do you guys just spam stacks of Manticores to?

He's comin'
He's comin'

My group is the best for this. A single Ulric's Fury is cause for celebration. Two and everyone starts shouting. Three, everyone goes nuts. One time we had seven in a row everyone was shouting 'Ten! Ten! Ten!'. Needless to say, the guy on the business end of that Fury was reduced to a pink mist.

The Old World beware
The New World beware

Except Gav, the loremaster of the 6th edition, says that all Gods are just aspects of the big 4.

Endhammer Suggestions:

Viktor Saltzpyre is picking up the pieces in the Reikland alongside the young Prince Luitpold II von Holswig-Schliestein. Many witch hunters died in the Storm of Chaos/Would-Be End Times, but Saltzpyre made it through the chaos of Ubersreik and the Grey Mountains and out the other side.

As Witch-Finder General of the Reikland, Saltzpyre's principal employment is to burn out the taint of chaos, but his focus has been on the warrens and cults living beneath the shattered Empire's cities. Beside him stands the hulking, freshly sober Markus Kruber.

Gav can suck a walrus dick.

How can a man rise so high and fall so far?

Thank you user.

He cared more about money than the fluff he helped create.

He was a Space Marine jumping asshole and pushed for it.

Be'lakor was abandoned by the gods because they had no direct way to control him. I resent your insulation that he is a slave. Be'lakor is a slave only to his hubris and pride.

>o. Fluff that we follow on /wfg/, namely 6th and 7th edition, says that not all Gods are Chaos gods

Wow what a lying piece of shit, again with the wall of text of headcanon. See this? This is from 6th ED. It's clear as day and Gav and his predecessor talked about it in seminars, interviews, and online posts. All the gods are but aspects and portions of the Chaos Gods, the only true gods., So how does it feel to have my dick in your mouth, you cretin.

And if you go back further than this we also have lore about the Gods of Order being spawned by the Chaos Gods and destined to return to them. Notice that this guy never cites the lore. Just bullshits his headcanon in while praising the lore that he never read.

>The physical and spiritual corruption of the races engineered by the Old Slann will ultimately destroy them. Even creatures created by the forces of Chaos are doomed to extinction. For, with Chaos' final triumph, all life will decay into a seething mass of protoplasm in which lost and screaming souls float helplessly, enduring the forms thrust upon them by the uncaring gods of Chaos. But the victory of Chaos, although certain, may be delayed - for Lawful and other non-Chaotic void creatures will strive to protect their own identities and ideals. With the victory of Chaos, they too will be swept back into the voids to rejoin the identities from which they were created as the gateways fell.

-WFRP 1st edition p. 268

Posting more stuff in defend the honour and virtue of Chaos.

>Do you want the 'real' answer, or the answer as perceived by an educated inhabitant of the Warhammer world?

>In real terms, as described in Hordes of Chaos, all gods are but aspects of the four Great Powers. Think of four overlapping circles within a larger circle. The large circle is Chaos, or what we refer to in the rules as Chaos Undivided. Within that are the four Great Powers. Where they overlap, there are concurrent and conflicting entities which bear portions of the vague consciousness of the Great Powers. Any lesser god will be a dot or smaller circle overlapping the diagram across the relevant Greater Powers. The example of the Horned Rat is a good one, as it is obviously dominated by Nurgle, but does have elements of Tzeentch in there as well.

>If you are talking about perceptions of the inhabitants, then they are unaware of the above (or driven mad by it if they find out!). They are aware that there is a large pantheon of gods, includig the four Great Powers. To them, each is distinct, although some may have different names for the same gods Ð for example, the marauder peoples have many different names for the Great Powers, and some may even have several names for the same Great Power.

-Loremaster Gav

>Notice that this guy never cites the lore

Notice that this guy clings to one line from the very first editiion of any WHF lore that got ditched by Games Workshop because the idea of Chaos inevitably winning is stupid, and afterward with Chaos supplements the Law Gods can win as can others.

Notice how Carnac got me to reply to him. For fuck's sake.

And fuck Gav lastly.

Again, Gav can suck a walrus dick. He's not even close to what he once was.

And if you don't think the ideas of "lol chaos always wins" and "lol everything is chaos" are stupid as shit, then you have objectively bad taste. Also objectively wrong considering this was only recently made lore and propagated by Gav when he turned traitor to the entire fandom.

Tuomas Pirinen (main designer and fluffer of Chaos in WHFB) seminar :

youtube.com/watch?v=Hnfo-cegsG4

It annoys me when degenerate and deluded fanboys think they know more about the concepts ad ideas that the developers themselves created when we have text and video of them speaking about the creation and implementation of said concepts and ideas.

>warhammer lore from 2016
>implying any fluff after 2007 of either 40k or fantasy has any relevance
>implying anyone should give a singular fecal molecule for anything any employee of gamesworkshop says after 2008
>implying buzz lightyear marines and chaos always wins grimderp are good
>implying im fucking replying to carnac again
>carnac has been at this for nearly 4 years

Chaos doesn't always win, but Carnac does.

Every reply makes him win.

He comes and posts stupid shit to stir people up.

They get stirred up.

The more stirred up they get the more replies he gets.

It never stops.

The cycle of Carnac will continue evermore.

Hordes of Chaos page 102.

Be'lakor is a slave. Always has been, always will be. His power is derived from his masters. His hubris and pride, as you mentioned, is why he was fucked as he was. Being the greatest champion of his gods wasn't enough. He thought he was better. Too bad he got on the bad side of timeless beings. Fuck off Carnac and never return. At least a shitposter can be honest about it at times.

Notice that i posted more than one source. Two of them developers that wrote the 6th ED an older lore you whine about and pretend to like.

>and afterward with Chaos supplements the Law Gods can win as can others.

No, it doesn't. Tried of your lies man. Don't reply to me. I don't wanjt to give trolls more (yous) any more than I have to.

Gav was honouring what his predecessor vision. You wouldn't know about honour.

And most importantly. The fact that is certain and immutable in WHFB lore forever enshrined in the annuals of WHFB history is.....

Solkan is a lie

Lets this stew for a while while I make breakfast.

Daily reminder that Carnac is literally Malal. Don't fall for his bait and trickery, even if you're a gigantic Chaoslover who wants to believe the headfanon.

Notice not a single argument just ad homs because he can't. The evidence is clear.

Nope, Be'lakor was a slave to the curse but he broke his binding. His last act of being a slave was crowning Archaon.

Fuck off you degenerate Barneyfag.

How do we not have Drachenfels of all things in the Novels trove?

He's a failure. He's cursed to fail because Tzeentch wanted to fuck with him. He's a slave. Worse than that. He's a slave who thinks he isn't.

Back to the abyss with you, Carnac. Be'lacuck was wiped from the field by a flick of Teclis' finger.

Is this real?
Carnac legit is about MLP? That's a fucking weird combination of shitty person-ness concentrated into one thing. Are you sure he wasn't just on that thread to troll about something else or whatever?

Never forget that Be'lacuck ran away screaming from rocks.

Just like Tzeench did when Solkan learned he imprisoned Arianka, terrifying him so badly that Malal stepped in to weave a plan to fuck over both him and Solkan simultaneously.

Old lore will always win over Carnac's headcanon and NuHammer chaoswank, and one day even those will be swept back screaming into the glorious abyss to be laughed at and ignored by the uncaring fans while old lore remains supreme.

Fucking idiot.
Fucking idiot.
Fucking idiot.
Fucking idiot, but at least a self-aware one.

Fucking idiot.

this

just stop

replying

to

carnac

Indeed. He's a fool.

New topic:

Areas of the Warhammer world you'd like to see expanded upon?

I'd like to see more of Cathay. They're a massive empire that deals with ogres, kungfu monks, dragon emperors and lawful Tzeentch worship.

You people are fucking turbo spastics.

More of the wild areas, like notamazonia besides just Lizards running around.

Maybe even some new lands that aren't mapped, continents that no group, not even Chaos or the Lizards, know exist.

I believe it's all the same guy.

>Never forget that Be'lacuck ran away screaming from rocks.

Did not happen because phasing and portals.

>Just like Tzeench did when Solkan learned he imprisoned Arianka, terrifying him so badly that Malal stepped in to weave a plan to fuck over both him and Solkan simultaneously.

Headcanon literally. The first part comes from a document rejected and unpublished by GW, the latter is pure delusion.

And don't pretend to be an oldfag. It's embarrassing for the both of us.

I have no idea what this picture is even about. And no I ain't into MLP. Tried watching it to see what as all the fuss about. Found i to be an ordinary cartoon. I think that user is projecting.

TWW has already proved Belacuck was a big fat liar, and Archaeon and edgy teen.

Reminder that Lorgar and Perturabo are daemon princes of Undivided in 8e CSM codex, reminder that Bel'sckor was bitch slapped by weakest space marine. a Imperial Fist in Fall of Cadia.

>Areas of the Warhammer world you'd like to see expanded upon?

Southpole. I want them to do a 3D renedering of Be'lakor's fortress of the forsaken. It's a huge as fortress in the shape of Be'lakor. Basically a floating statue of Be'lakor. Within it is a throne in the shape of Be'lakor where Be'lakor himself sits.

Tis ridiculous and cool

The world is basically Earth by another name, and timeline, so I don't see another landmass being around unless there's a really large asspull.

youtube.com/watch?v=AYURxfaTdpY

The Southlands.
There's supposed to be an Empire colony there.

>Be'lakor : ZA WARUDO. Time resets!

Can't win them all. And no Lorgar and Pert are unconfimed as long as there is lore that says that recent Be'lakor is the only one. GW won't contradict itself within 2 months. Not even they would do that. And stop offtopic posting.

Fucking idiot.
Fucking idiot.

>Lorgar and Pert are unconfimed
They are literally said to be daemon princes of all chaos gods.

Fucking idiot.

...

Fucking idiot.

I'm spending the last of my wifi in foreign lands to write that Carnac is a subhuman idiot that should be drawn and quartered.

Don't give him the attention. Let him sell his soul for (You)s only to be starved.

The whole Chaos wank has always bothered me. How can you ape that much of Moorcock but miss the boat that much?

You get caught up in eating your own ejaculate, I can only assume.

Stop spaming.

No, that only that their patrons gifted them with daemonhood so it can only mesh with Be'lakor's 8th ED and previous lore if they all agreed that Lorgar and Pert deserves a reward and made a game of it and who won gets to ascend them.

Be'lakor being the one and Only Undivided has been a thing for what 5-6 years by my reckoning? For 2 editions straight. They wouldn't rape established lore like that.

How are these models? Better then vanilla?

Fucking idiot, but at least didn't respond to him.
