> How is it free?
Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on the cash and securities in Robinhood accounts, much like a bank collects interest on cash deposits and by collecting fees from robinhood gold.

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, why?
Robinhood graphs are *** and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using tradingview.com, stockcharts.com, finviz.com, or a non-pile-of-*** for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

I'm looking to invest in more dividend yielding stocks, but do dividends get invested back into your account as money or as additional stock?

money

Who $teum here?

ARCI moon when???

AUY is doing great. Huge returns this year. Hope you guys bought the dip.

BLOCKCHAIN STOCKS

its free money

Good to know.

>tfw missed the RIOT rocket

Is there any blockchain stocks that are worth looking into or are they all shit?

I WAS TOLD THERE WOULD BE A SANTA CLAUS RALLY THIS WEEK

MAKE IT STOP PAPA SANJAY

Is today a UVXY day boyos?

MARA gets shilled quite a bit around these parts, apparently will be renamed to Marathon Blockchain in JAN and people keep saying it will be $10 at the very least

Unrelated, thoughts on DLPH Long anyone? Just started reading about the company this weekend and it seems solid

uvxy santa claus rally this week for all the good little NEETs

I don't know if I want to,hold this long term or take profits.

I MADE IT INTO THE IGC WONDERLAND
IT"S GOING ALL THE WAY TO $4.20 I KNOW IT

MCB - this is the bank that coinbase uses, every transaction through cb makes them money.

OSTK, TEUM, DPW, SSC

Good way to read these stocks is to watch the bitcoin market. If bitcoin starts to fall, these stocks will fall. Like last week all these stocks fell because bitcoin tanked and if you were smart enough to buy them at market close you’re going to be seeing some nice profits this morning because of the bitcoin rally.

SSC is up today. Blew past my profit sell. DPW has sold off enough to counter that.

Get in on DPW while it's still low

ALT building up steam.

With 2017 winding down. I'm interested in what everybody speculates will be the best picks for 2018. I also want to bring discussion to the Veeky Forums consensus for the performance of individual sectors will be.

How about you go fuck yourself?

Im all in on cannabis and hemp stocks for 2018. Lot of legislation changes happened over the last few years to set up for some big changes really soon. IGC is a great long imo because they've got a patent on a 0% THC strain of cannabis, making it ideal for industrial hemp and creating the possibility of crop insurance for industrial hemp growers. They're expected to start growing it in May of 2018, and once that crop is harvested at the end of 2018 I expect yuge profits. IGC is another great pick, I just got out of it this morning after the big blockchain PR announcement. US based company doing CBD therapy. The growing leeway given to low THC cannabis grows should benefit their company as well, along with the growing cultural acceptance of medicinal cannabis.

I've seeing a lot that tech might not do as well this year.

Looking for long, short, swing, day?

Also, I could use some resources on what’s moving, how to read charts, basic how to’s and where to look. The shit memed here is invariably at the top of a pump. The only pick that’s made me money was the one I own as a product.

so hostile.....

i like it

Sorry, typo. XXII has the 0% thc hemp.

you having a bad day friend?

Why won't dpw fucking move.
Bought this piece of shit for 4 dollars. Thought bitcoin pump would help.
Other shitty crypto stocks are pumping except this trash

I was having a good day until I came here. I need to stop coming here.

Thanks for asking. How's your day going, friend?

Is Robinhood out in Canada yet?

No leafs allowed

This

Somebody shit in your stocking or something?

I'm really skeptical about investing in the US Cannabis market. With it still being schedule 1 and a republican controlled government I don't see this taking off. Just too easy for the feds to change their mind and completely destroy your investment. There are other options for lucrative gains, and I'm not saying you're wrong. I would just stick to Canadian pot companies, where they have a liberal at the helm who's going to back this shit.

What kind of tech? I'm thinking we could see growth in cloud computing. Semi-conductors saw their boom, but will probably just end up trading sideways all year.

I'm looking for any speculation. Finviz is pretty good for a market scanner. Just start reading stuff and figure out what you can.

Should have bought the Indian cannabis turned blockchain company

APTO

Thought it was going to drop at open but continues upward momentum

What have we got to lose? Let's see where it goes

Boring answer is real estate and energy.
I’m looking at Sprint though.

Told y'all...

Making money doesn't have to be exciting. Are you expecting REITs to go crazy? They usually offer great dividends, and if you can grab a few points on top of that, isn't that what we're all about here? Making money?

What are some good stocks that are actually available on Robinhood? A lot of the shit on here isn't on there.

AMRS baybayyy

has anyone shilled UBIA here?

I’m expecting solid moves out of almost all tower and data center REITs, residentials and looking at EXR and CUBE to keep moving.

nm not on rh

Also, in regards to energy. I've never really tried too hard to understand that market. It's a pretty wide market with a lot of intrinsic details and different players. You've got oil, nat-gas, nuclear, renewables, coal. Then there's the transportation and infrastructure that supports these different forms of energy. You have see good gains in one while the others tank. What kind of strategy would you recommend for some one interested in getting started out investing in energy?

I have an interesting stock for 2018. Even though i think BGFV is going to do well for 3-6 months i have another stock that i think will do oddly well if anyone is interested

Oh and I told you guys about TWMJF for weed last week. (Not on RH)

Let me guess, Sears?

let me guess, you are going to hate on the BGFV pick as it climbs up into the high teens and almost to $20 and never ever make gains on it? wow. what are you doing here again?

and no it's not sears it has something to do with a new california law that takes effect on jan. 1 but it isn't about weed.

>climbs up into the high teens and almost to $20

Have you considered a career in comedy?

Think more niche and smaller market share.

ok retard. just watch as it does it. Been saying this since 6.40 and people are still hating. i guess you really just don't understand how stocks work.

Just tell us what this interesting stock is. If it's DRYS though I'm gonna fucking lose it

yes it is a niche i did some research on it over the weekend and it's not one of my usual type of stocks but i think it's going to do well for a particular reason, they have a few products but only one that i am interested in.

kek

I'm already on it, I just wish it would let me transfer some back to my bank account as quickly as it lets me deposit from it cause I got bills to pay.

Still it's great so beginners like me don't pay extra when they pick a losing stock. I wish the graph updated quicker, though. You also need to supplement it with other sources of information, as its news feed is very lackluster. But yeah it's been good so far.

So what is it?

i think i have too many different stocks (18), which ones do i get rid of senpai?

all the one that don't pay out a dividend or are set to go big in the coming weeks

The company is OraSure Technologies, Inc. (OSUR)

They make a take home HIV test kit.

The governor of California recently signed a law that now if you knowingly pass HIV onto someone it is no longer a felony as of 2018. The law has been dropped to misdameanor.

This is not my usual type of stock, i usually trade based off accumulation/distriubution phases, short interest, fundamentals of shares structure, and basic fundamentals of company. Although I don't usually trade the kind of set up and stock that OSUR is i think it'll have interesting potential for 2018.

On their 10-q it states that they are now shipping this HIV home test to other countries and that sells have been going up.

sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1116463/000119312517338742/d480771d10q.htm
Pg 20 of their Q

>Net product revenues during the nine months ended September 30, 2017 increased 43% when compared to the first nine months of 2016, primarily due to higher sales of our molecular and OraQuick® HCV products and increased international sales of our OraQuick® HIV self-test.

With HIV testing it takes anywhere from 3 weeks to 6 months for people to develop antibodies to get an accurate test. HIV symptoms come on 3-4weeks after being infected at which time 95% will have detectable antibodies, the other 5% won't

OSUR at home HIV test will be able to test most individuals at 4 weeks but the test still won't be considered conclusive, the person would have to wait 3 months to get a conclusive test from the OSUR at home HIV test.

with this being said, i wen't through the HIV forums that talked about the OSUR at home HIV test, and it appears to me that alot of people that think they might have HIV buy the test at around 4 weeks, test, then again at 6 weeks and test, then again at 8 weeks and test.

Some even go on to say they've bought 5 within a month times to test.

Cont..

i dont think any of them pay dividends
>falling for the dividend meme
how many stocks does that average rgt user own?

youtube.com/watch?v=fjShQolUCcM

First of all the AIDS only infects homosexuals. So once again you've got a niche market and are eliminating the vast majority of American consumers. Secondly can't these faggots already get free AIDS testing from the government? I'm not touching this one.

There are people that are buying this test left and right just to treat themselfs and also buying the test for others just to be sure.

I became pretty interested in the new HIV law because i live in california and had no idea they had a at home test for HIV

Their revenues are growing and they also have gotten grant money for other product production, grant money typically doesn't have to be paid back.

Bill and melinda gates foundation has given them some money aswell.

Their revenue is already growing and i think it'll continue to grow since they just recently started shipping this test internationally and plus with the new california law and ever increasing population.

there is more in their Q that points to them still growing and it might be a good stock to hold a small portion of in your portfolio.

The market cap is currently sitting around 1.1billion but i think the market cap could get into the 10-20billion range.

I won't continue to go through my findings if you guys aren't interested.

Hopefully some TA specialist in here could help with an entry point because like i said, this isn't the usual type of set up i like to trade but i think this company has real potential for 2018

also they do have other products im just interested in the at home HIV test and how paranoid people buy them up like candy.

How high is Macy's going to go?
I sold @ $25.50 and getting FOMO

>Secondly can't these faggots already get free AIDS testing from the government?
Yes but they don't because they don't want to go be seen in a clinic they rather wait around 3 months buying test up and using it rather than go to the damn clinic after a few weeks for blood testing.

I read up on all the forums, when this law changes the gay community which is heavy in california will get a little paranoid and start buying up this product, the company is seeing YOY growth and with international shipping i think they will continue to do so.

Just read some of the forums about HIV testing, some people buy this test every other day due to paranoia.

I don't think it's going to moon, i just think it might be a good hold to have maybe 5% of your portfolio in, it also doesn't pay a dividend but they have a well established product (amongst other productst) and will be having a higher demand (imo) due to the change in laws in california.

I don't care if AIDS are for gays.. im in this to make money, and shit, ill make money off aids patients

jesus christ man, this shit is fucking crazy some fucking weirdos out there

I bought into IGC, am I stupid?

I would say you are but who knows. I'm gonna buy some and flip it for a profit. Look at FTFT for shits sake. Wild.

DUBUHBUB-DEY DOING DA BLOCKCHAIN-BBBBBPTHBBBBBBBBBBBBBB

It's really over bought on the daily chart, I'd look for an entry closer to $17.09 if the stock doesn't bounce up from $18.33 support. You'd have to be some kind of poz-hole crack head to buy this at its current price.

>IGC

Ask yourself how it is going to make you money

yeah that is what i was thinking was waiting for a strong pullback, like i said it's not my usual trading style but the whole at home test intrigued me and how often people buy these things.

Im not going to enter it just yet but i'm going to keep an eye on it forsure, theres alot of good stuff in their 10-q, i just don't think it's the right entry point for it

...

Can someone gib me a good swing trade for this week? I’ll suck your dick later.

>buys apple

BGFV

VMIN

What are your thoughts on AYX? I see promise in it. I feel like more and more businesses will be using it.

explain yourself

UVXY :^)

This is a coin board take this elsewhere

Do you know what the vix is?

Can some one explain the drop on VMIN to me? Did they pay a dividend or something?

>Literal gambling board

Typical biz. Never change

DO SOMETHING DPW

forward split. This is what you want to own as long as we stay in a bull market. If you think we are at the end of the cycle and about to turn bearish, uvxy will actually be the one you want to trade until it reverts to backwardation and begins doing the same thing that products like vmin and svxy do.

Once the backwardation has taken place, you can swing it/own uvxy. Until then, these will continue to decay while the svxy and vmin of the world do the exact opposite.

Why are you bullish on bgfv

Sports retail is hard - that’s why cos like Cabelas and Bass Pro have merged. Others have gone bankrupt(sports authority i think). BGFV has a low-end product assortment

It’s way over-exposed to California economy (50 pct of stores there), which is projected to stagnate for next few years. I just don’t see the bull case

Im not sure what you mean forward split. You mean just a standard split?

How heavy are those bags?

How many of you are full-time investors and for those that are part-time, then what do you do as your job?

It was a dividend.

Those terms are interchangeable i believe. Yes, same as "normal" split.

I actually apologize though. They did pay a divy. I didn't think they did. Wow. 25%... Holy shit

Still up 24 cents

it's just boring
