That is wrong as all fucking hell and getting onto conspiracy theory shit. The REAL reason they are upscaling is to make their competitors life's harder. The large breath of companies that shot up around GW decline is the real cause of this. Bit resellers have to invest in entirely new scales, which is quite expensive for smaller companies and there's less incentive to play competitors games when you can't reuse the models for GW games as well.

All I think about with the new models is that those on 30mm bases really are not gonna work with the terrain I have. It's tight on 25mm bases a lot of the time because having enough clutter is key in Necromunda.

And fuck building yet more terrain, took fucking ages to sort enough decent terrain (that wasn't just pint glasses and old video tapes) for a Necromunda table in the first place. Takes way more work that people who only bother putting together their gangs ever appreciate.
