The transaction fees and transfer times are outrageous. Bitcoin is fucked until LN comes out. Even then, I doubt Bitcoin will more than 3-4x over the next year.

People don't use BTC for transferring anything; it's just a money making machine / value storage. The BTC whales will make sure to keep the Bitcoin wave going for a lot longer
