hands made of literal paper
user you don't understand the dynamics of why your coin looks like its dropping when its actually increasing in value.
>implying you will remember today when december 2018 come around
it's called hodl for a reason holy shit
Did you somehow hold onto McAfee's pump and dump coins when you bought high?
look into zcl.
steemit.com
just pumped a bit, but accumulate as much as you can as fast as you can.
Brainlet here.
With alts, what happens when BTC crashes or rises concerning the price since the alt is traded in BTC.
Does the level of sats stay the same or does the movement of BTC tell the market to adjust the ratio of sats to that alt?
It would seem since everyone sells when BTC bullruns that the level of sats adjust or else why move.
>got $300 btc at 11000
>goes to 20000 "it can go higher"
>crashes to 12k "LOL fuck itl go back up its fucking bitcoin"
>almost at 17k now again
You fucking cucks bought high and sold low again
Remember the fucking speculators saying itl at least hit 100k in the next few years?
You're all fucking stupid. I'm selling my btc when it hits 20k again to pay some bills you fucking idiots.
>tfw fell for the fomo meme
lost $2000 in an hour
Literally how nigger
You wasted time on making $300?
What are you, so poor you cant leave that 600 in there?
Remember DGB and others similar?
Yes, people are dumb enough to not split gains on obvious PnDs

Made my RDD losses back in a week, they make good calls
I sold my extra 1080ti for 600. Used 300 of it right away, let 300 sit. I'm a poorfag college student. I'm quite happy I made 300, that's 1/2 weeks pay for me atm.
By 1/2 I mean 1 or 2 weeks pay depending on if my freelance job has anything to do or not, or if I decided to take a break from ubering on the weekends.
fug man, well I was in that position during college, and as long as crypto keeps going I'd advise throwing some burn money in there at some point and leaving it for a few years.
My uncle and brother got litecoin, my uncle believes IOTA might take over in a few years and he's considering switching his ltc to that. I might do that when my btc hits 20k to be honest.
The only time I ever got fucked is when I retardedly fomo'd in at ATH and sold at a loss. Since I started buying and holding, I've literally only made money. OP you are stupid.
post your portfolio then dumbass
>inb4 chainlink and pajeetcoins and Mcpumpndump
when btc rises people tend to take their money of alts and put it into btc, price of alts drops in sats due to this and you have effectively lost money. When BTC drops people tend to either take their money all together from crypto and hold cash, now ur alto coins might keep their price in sats but their price in USD decreases as BTC price drops.
Basically if u time the market well and take your btc off alts and then btc jump 20% then u can come bak to alts and buy 20% more of that alt, or even more assuming that alt also dropped due to people selling to get on BTC.
most of the time people fail doing this.
So for a tldr
Hoard alts when btc bears
Sell alts to btc when it bulls?
>Whole family invests in crypto
You guys must have had a fun Christmas(except the women). I wish I had somebody to speculate about this shit with
Maybe. The way I see it, if BTC stays stable that creates the best, most organic environment for alt trading. We want that shit to go sideways. As long as there is heavy volatility you can never be sure what is going to happen with your alt.
Nice glass hands. I’m up 6% today, but I’ve held through 20% drops. Start working on your grip exercises.
How often do shit coins like ember fail overnight? That shit is worth 0.0004 cents and my inner pseudo jew is rubbing his hands prospecting it could get to $0.01
If BTC is crashing then having cash is best, because alts will lose price against USD as well as BTC so if u sell as a crash is happening then come back and buy alts/btc after btc has further dropped 10% then u can buy more.
It's all about timing the market, be careful, some alts don't crash as hard and moon quicker than u can get back into, gotta understand your shitcoins too.
tl;dr
BTC MOONIG=SELL ALTS, BUY BTC, at btc ath buy alts before they recover
BTC CRASHING= Sell alts, sell btc, hold cash or tether if you're gay, at the bottom of the crash buy btc/alts with USD.
disclaimer: Most people fail doing this.
If you haven't been doing this for a while just hold, alts will recover, unless u invested in some pajeet pumpndump
>disclaimer: Most people fail doing this.
Because you don't know if BTC is actually crashing
This correction from 19700 wasn't really obvious until it stayed below 17000 for a while
Also you don't know if BTC is honestly going to moon or how people are going to react.
This time, everyone reacting by dropping everything and it was good, but the following pumps, my alts barely budged. I probably would have taken a loss if I tried to react to the following pumps.
On the contrary, I've held and my alt keeps recovering its USD value. I've lost a bit of BTC value, but I think my alt will make decent progress soon. It also keeps recovering to within 2-3% of my buy price, so I'm not really worried by a few mini pumps
