Exalted champs are pretty sweet but also have a fair bit of competition for hq slots. So depends on the rest of your list. Lord or Apostle backing up a bunch of lightning claws would be pretty solid.

He had some commissars and a tech priest that just kept healing whatever my buddy was hitting his tank for, so I shot the fuck outta that tech priest, then killed his commissars with the dreads. They're fucking broken with a 3+ save no matter what, plus a 6+ fnp. Also any SW units get to reroll hits of 1 within 6" of Bjorn.

If I have a Battalion Detachment, I'll have 3 CP. If I want to add a unit of Hellblasters, that takes away 1 CP, correct? And where do I find that thing to upgrade my Captain into a Chapter Master?

Because the loyalist one is a relic and requires another elite slot unit for each contemptor you take

how effective do you find snipers? I made a squad of marauders for my chaos army and they get two snipers in a 5 man squad for 35pts. I could make another squad if I end up liking them

I didn't like them in my list, but they definitely served their purpose. I think they would've been a lot better if I could afford to stick more in there. The dreadnoughts definitely tore shit up tho so well that I'm considering dropping murdershit and taking another venerable with axe just because they were so effective.

Results may vary, most of em hit on 3s and will wound on 4s or 5s depending on the character. Since you're shooting for 6s for those sweet mortal wounds, more is better here. So if ya want to take snipers, take big squads of them.
