Six of those figures will be in the Satan pledge. Beyond the Wall, the Great Game Hunter, and Savior 20 Years won't be.

The original Nico won't either.

Neither 40 year saviour.

>what did you buy at gencon?
Nothing because I can't justify a travel to usa for a games convention.

Does anyone have a gallery of all the art?

You mean the card arts like in OP's? As far as I know there are only a few available.

Bird.

Bossman didn't have a ticket for me this year so so I didn't go.

Maybe next year I'll go, be it of my own accord or if he's able to secure a ticket for me.

thats the goblin. just look at its face

now tremble before its might

because he is number 1

Man, the KD fanbase in Veeky Forums is basically dead.

most are in cryostasis waiting for their shit. after that we can have generals again like during the kickstarter and the few months after it

Man KOD minis are so good looking. If I had a 100k a year job and twenty years to wait I would so get it.

Most of us haven't ever played the game yet and never played the game. We live on an update-to-update basis until we begin for real.
There will be enough circlejerking in the near future (sadly). In the meantime you can have arguments about scalpers.

Obviously I am retarded as I'm stating the same thing twice.

You can play it on tabletop sim

>In the meantime you can have arguments about scalpers.

If you could have collection of short (3-5 pages) doujin about KD:M monsters, who should draw what?

I would nominate Z-ton for Nightmare Ram

Yeah, I know and thanks for suggesting that. Huge part of it is mini building and painting. I want to experience it in the flesh and avoid spoilers.

now its getting interesting. il come back soon with ideas

Boichi.
Especially with his recent Dr Stone.

That's for the actual settlement, not monsters.

I never see people discussing models, art, fluff, paintjobs and wips, which should be a big part of this too, and there's no reason not to because there are always models available at the store and plenty of fluff.

People here only care about the game itself. Sad.

boichi for dragon sacrafice

Non H.
I want Yagi (Claymore) to do Goblin chicken.

Shadman for Percival.

His monster designs are god tier.

Non-hentai again.

(Old) Nihei for Spidicules.

>for young survivor
>not Rustle
>not Nanashi
user, pls.

>for young survivor (male)
>not Po-Ju
>not Katou Jun
PLS!

Is Oblivion Mosquito based on pic related?
Murata would be the obvious choice, anyway.

Nihei's style would work better for Slenderman.

Anyone else worried that they will ruin the models by poor painting skills? I've been practicing on monopose models and I'm about to try so tamiyama military models.

>not Akihito Tsukushi, for both

Just give it your best effort and keep your expectations real. Worst case, you could always strip the paint and redo it once you are more experienced.

in the same vein. i have some basic layering skills. how do i go to the skin blending color that kingdom thicc minis need?

Start using glazing medium.

how exactly? use a layer then layer with a glaze, then another layer and use a glaze?

No, you mix it with the paint like you would mix in a thinner.
You first paint the base color (usually the darker skin tone) and then you progress toward lighter tones.

Are you practicing on toy soldiers? Didn't know they make them in undead flavor.

That's from the Dark Souls board game.

>get king's curse. Lose 2 body pieces to it.
>Fight the Hand, get Applause. 7+! Gain stats and a fighting art.
>Draw Wardrobe Expert
>Can now archive armor instead of suffering a severe injury to a corresponding body part.
>The Hand punts a piece of scrap at her. Has king's man's helmet.
>Archive helmet, immediately grow it back due to post fight curse roll

So as long as she keeps getting injuries in the right spots... She'll stave the curse off bit by bit.

Isn't Regal gear Cursed?

Aw, hell. Probably is. Senran Kagura ain't happening then.

Honestly, you don't need glazing medium.

Learn to thin with water. Most pros don't use any medium at all.

That's my personal preference.
Thinning the paint with water or with thinning medium makes it too runny and bubbly.

By the way, Spidicules is back in stock in all warehouses.

That's because you use too much water.

So is this game impossible to get outside of the kickstarter or jerks that upsell it for 5 to 6 hundred dollars profit?

Basically, yes. Or you could get it at GenCon, too late though.

You can try tabletop simulator as a poor man's last option.

Anyway, don't worry, after the backers get theirs the game will be available at the official store. Poots said this time he produced enough units to last a few years.
Suposedly backers will start to get theirs at the end of october. You will be able to buy it around new year, maybe.

I don't think most KDM fans are miniature hobbyists. More soft core porn hobbyists. I have have legitimately seen multiple admissions where people have stated they buy all these models and leave their collection unpainted. I'll give props to the guys who paint their stuff even if it's thin-your-paints tier work.

You could also slowly layer up with thin layers and gradually build your gradient that way as well. No need to blend if that's not your style

>I have have legitimately seen multiple admissions where people have stated they buy all these models and leave their collection unpainted
Yeah, I feel absolute disgust for having to compete against such individuals for the limited models. More so when most of them buy multiple copies just to resell later and make a minuscule profit. Pathetic. This fandom is full of scum.

>More soft core porn hobbyists
You mean the same kind of people that collect lewd anime girl figurines?

I know what you meen, the are low-rez scan in too. So it dosn't feel as cool
I had a fight with the white lion and that was all I did.

Nah. Probably not.

Oh well.
At least I'm relieved to know that once this game goes fully available at the store the extremely high demand will cease and "collectors" (i.e. scalpers) will stop being so annoying because it will lose the exclusivity it has now. Expect hundreds of KD minis on eBay for cheap in a few years now when the scalper market dies on this.

Gonna fap to this later, thanks, user.

There should be some (limited number of) boxes available on Black Friday sale. KD made it every year so far. If you can't wait that long for whatever reason, it's just the aftermarket.

Hey, one can enjoy both softcore and hardcore stuff by equal measure. Just because I can identify considerable number of doujin that Sad Panda regards "offensive for everyone" from as little as 100x100 pixel crop, doesn't mean I would think any less about the works of tasteful subtlety.

So is this entire mini range just to have thicc models to jerk off too?

How good is semen as gloss varnish?

most likely terrible, and I think that is only the pin ups which I want nothing to do with. Don't get me wrong, they look super nice but 40 plus dollars for one mini is retarded. I just want to paint the minis and then play the game with my friends, that fact that I can barely get my hands on this game because of scalpers and people that want to have their 24mm waifu puts me at a solid 5/10 on the mad scale though.

Are the doujins on nhentai?

>I can barely get my hands on this game because of scalpers

This is more on Poots than scalpers, but also on the buyers who are willing to pay premium prices to the scalpers.

>people that want to have their 24mm waifu

They're actually 35mm but they're not required at all for the game. Don't get caught up in the "collect em all hype" unless you really like the sculpt and are willing to paint it up. Again, it's also kind of Poot's fault for limiting production, but he is getting better about this the last shop update. I don't think it will ultimately get better, as Poots seems to love putting the "boutique" in "boutique nightmare horror." Still to blame are people who are willing to pay the premium prices to support scalpers and promote their behavior.

>40 plus dollars for one mini
They are $27.

plus shipping

That's not their fault though. Also, buy several at once.

that ups the shipping

No it doesn't. You would know if you actually bought from them.

>tfw when i can paint the armored minis but not the more fleshy ones

Fuck man, it's hard as fuck painting skin. I've been practicing on other minis so I can get comfortable with it.

Sodd off, many would rather not ruin expensive rare models with their lacking skillset.

I know for sure I'm going to practice on 40k and bones long before I go about butchering a KD/M model with a subpar paintjob. I also intend to get a few more special minis commission-painted instead.

probably

Is it Black Friday yet? Cus I needs this shit! I was fine being poor Til this game

not yet.

post KD memes in the mean time

Nailed it.

...

Seems interesting for both my brain and dick.

What's it like?

...

...

Is there any fluffy reason for skimpy outlooks?

It's hot, yo. And cloth is sparse as fuck.

Plus it's super-heightened fantasy. That's like asking why all the men and women have such sexualised bodies. Why have the guys been cutting weight, managing protein, doing core exercises at the gym?

Is there any valid reason for you to care?

It's fun.

Yes.

also they are not canon.

they are a pin-up with unrealistic portrayals for the sake of beng pleasant to look at and not more.

Can someone please explain the setting to me, is it on a planet set in fantasy times? Or is it in an alternate dimension/plane?

Also what's Aya's story? I bought the model but cannot find anything

>not canon
LaughingScribe.jpg

Things are fucked on a world where things are trying to be not fucked. The players characters are literally written into existence which is why they look like they do.

So it's kind of like a time of creation then?

Pond Scum a cute. CUTE!

So much of it is mystery. But there once was more of civilisation, but that was long ago. Now, the scraps of humanity try to survive and improve, in a nightmarish world fulls of gigantic sadistic monsters that want to kill them. To fight these monsters, your humans may need to embrace their own monstrous natures....

TLDR: Fucked up universe, who the fuck knows when it's set or why, not concrete answers at this time. Maybe it's hell. Maybe some cruel game designed to fuck with humanity for their failings. Maybe this is just a fantasy world where FUCK YOU, HUMANS!

there are gods, which are called dragons
there is a chuthulu (we think, the giant chicken could have made that up to make itself seem bigger then it is) called the goblin

Giant chicken is actually pretending to be The Goblin, to be more accurate.

The Goblin seems more like a death/trickster god than Cthulhu.

Probably the closest thing to an overall 'bad guy' in the setting would be The Golden Entity, imo. Who seems to be the god of getting ripped and fucking bitches super hard.

But didn't the Golden Entity create humans so he could vicariously admire how hansom and sex everyone was or something?

We're not sure.

He may have had a hand in creating the Survivors, but not all humans. And the ink on eyelids suggests that it could have been that other guy, the Scribe or whatever his name is.

Is there a zip or something with all the card art?

I'm making an album and need to fill in the blanks left by some of the recasts.

post what you have so far

Does anyone have experience with the 5-player variant? Or six, for that matter? Does it make the game harder or easier?

relatively speaking, it should make it easier.
To some extent you're breaking the balance by adding more actions to your pool of characters, allowing you to out-maneuver the monster more effectively, the additional health is only a minor inconvenience in comparison.

I have never played, what's the recomended player count? Can you play solo?

you can totally play it solo. Reccomended is usually about 4 players

The game supports 1 to 4 players without modification to the core rules, 5 and 6 players modify the core rules a little, primarily by adding more health to the monsters, but the additional actions tend to stress the delicate action economy to breaking point.

But to answer your question, yes, it is very playable solo. You'll just control your entire settlement by yourself, no arguments about resource spending and such, in a way it's a little easier than with a group.
