Mother Earth

Lets continue this thread, theres alot of good content in here Premise
>Mother Earth is a Dystopian cyberpunk world set on Mother Earth, a Massive synthetic planet built on top of a Generation ship guided by a supercomputer known as "The Mother Board"
>space itself is not what we thought was like like, instead of being a void, its fuilled with Megastructures where bizzare cyborg aliens live
>Mother Earth has two citys on it, I and 0, both are found at the polar ends of Mother Earth

So, any ideas?

>between the two citys theres a massive wasteland where all sorts of unsavory life lives.
>Nano Mutants, bandits and outoutlaws,, stoe away aliens and such

>Under the plannet is a complex of maintenance tunnles known as "The Roots", both as a reference to trees and to the fact that under the miles and miles of matinee tunnels lays the original Generation Ship that the New Humans originated.

fuck this im restarting this thread in the morn

Sorry dude, but there's not a lot to go off of.

...

Under the city on the North Pole is a large underground area that goes down several kilometers

The roots are home to the Gardenkeepers, AI committed to ensuring that Mother Earth arrives at its mysterious destination.

The original colonists clashed over whether the ship would ever get to Nirvana (the sacred place). Ultimately those who felt the original destination should be forgotten and a new world built around the seed ship won out. But those who disagreed made the Gardenkeepers to keep the original plan alive.

>This part of the city is known as "The Pit"
>the entirety of the pit is the graveyard of the city, fallen buildings and dead bodys stretch as far as the eye can see, augmented or not.

>Due to being impossibly huge, normal travel long distance travel might as well be obsolete
>so instead, The Mother Board made a solution
>Memory uploads, many people have multiple copys of themselves all around M.E
>To travel between citys, you just have to find a terminal and upload your current consciousness to your double.

>Numan Biology is weird, were basically bio computers.
>you can shove a usb cord in your spice, where no previous augmentations where before, and suddenly there's a port there
>this doesn't stop Major Augmentation though, there's still plenty of people willing to amputate themselves for cool robot arms

>with in the bowels of the Roots a cancer is growing, Cyber Cancer
>it's unknown why, but Grey Goo clogs the Roots like clogged arteries.
>Gardeners are tasked with disposing any GG clogged tunnels, however this action just slows it at best, and expands it at worst

>One of the sapient races that dwell in the vastness of the mega-architecture is the Matter Eater
>They can eat anything that doesn't kill them first
>This includes the very building material of the mega-architectures

>Matter Eaters are a direct threat to Mother Earth and all of its inheritance, and by all means will be killed with prejudice if encountered

Deep down in the mega cities lives one of the few remaining animals of the Old Earth. Giant slugs thrive near dank and wet cooling system exhaust ports, they have evolved to eat almost anything that have any neutrients in it. They are even known to lie dormant in pools of water in order to keep themselves alive via a form of hibernation, and only wakes up when there is movement in the water. This has cost the lives of many inhabitants and explorers of Mother Earth

>Mother Earth is home to many military organizations, from lowly street cops trying to make a living, to militias that form in the wastes and bowels, to devote anti alien religious groups.
>while some are endorsed by The Mother Boared, many others are solely independent

In orbit around Mother Earth is a small space station inhabited by a small enclave of cyborgs, who have developed their own synthetic hive mind. They are planning to somehow try and escape the sphere surround the solar system, but how they are planning to do that is not known by many

>This space station, known as Father Luna, as the name suggests, use to be the Moon.
>infact, several other satellites/planeloads orbit Mother Earth, how ever Father Luna is the largest,

>Among the few things that make prey of Matter Eaters, the Photino Raptors are one that is sapient
>Curious natural masters of time travel, an individual Photino Raptor can suddenly exist in multiple places at once by rapidly time-traveling
>They are also very deadly to be around, as they exude subatomic particles in places they exist, will exist, and have existed at, subtly rearranging your molecules
>Not to mention that they are made up of antiproton
>Thankfully to the Matter Eaters (and the other races as well) Photino Raptors are very rare
>But encountering one without ample protection is a death sentence

>there have been 3 major wars between FL and ME.

...

>Matter Eaters are mere cocoons for the Photino Raptors
>once a matter eater has, well, eaten enough matter, its true form will burst from the shell

...

...

>One race that dwells on Mother Earth are the Mechanoids
>Mechanoids are robots with the same level of consciousness as Numens, some theorize that there a close cousin of us.

>another race are known as Augers.
>Augers are cyborgs. not really being mechanoid nor Numan.
>Note, Augers are not cyborgs. cyborgs are abominations who live on the moon and Augers are respectable beings.

...

...

Speaking of anti alien groups

>There is a main stay religion known as the Martyrs of Our Mother
>they basically go around the wastes and the citys killing any alien they come across. and even venture beyond the dome/into Megarchitecture on mini crusades to kill aliens for the betterment of Mother Earth

Some tunes that might fit the setting

Hold up, I checked, Photinos are actually the superpartner of photons, not anti-protons.
Otherwise, carry on.

>The sea of wires

In the South Pole mega city there is almost at the bottom of it a sea of wires and cabeling that goes on for miles. All the machines from the surrounding mega structures makes the entire mass of cables vibrate and shake, thus greating the illusion of waves. Although none so far has yet to cross the Sea of Wires to see what they all connect to it is speculated that it leads to the birthplace of the Mother Board, and Mother Earth itself.

Some say you can even find fish in it if you look hard enough, however, suck claims might be misidentified aliens or robots

So drew what I vaguely think Mother Earth looks like. The shell outside/ surrounding the ship and City is the wasteland.

Suggestion? Let's make Mother Earth bigger then it already is.

>during the construction of Mother eart, not only where the debris of earth where added, but the solar system as well
>anything that couldn't be used was molded into Father Luna as a form of a prison colony

Ded thread

YO

WHERE MY PEOPLE AT

Currently exploring the cable length of the Threads, and encountering some Matter Eaters.
They've eaten through the nonconductive barriers and have exposed the energy flux.

Anyone have any criticism for this ?

How would Mother Earth move when the surroundings are encased in mega-architecture?
Would it have a gigantic drill made from the maw of a truly gigantic Matter Eater on front?

the way I pictured it was that there where just megastructeres everywhere going off in infinity.

theres still space and everything. the Machine that makes up the universe is just that big/expansive

also, fuck you lazers. any good ship has fuck you lazers
