nothing stopping you from sharing. I'm just lazy to repost stuff from that thread but there is lot of good stuff in there.

Dat some Shinobu?

It's always weird when I see images pop up that people in games I'm playing with are using. Nothing really wrong with it, but it's just kind of a double take moment.

I know your first instinct is to tell me to go to hell but Usagi Yojimbo is seriously pretty goddamn awesome if you haven't read it yet.
Any yokai-inspired characters (other than oni)?

How do you organize your art folder?
2 major trees "male/female" and then what?
Or do you go by ethnicity "Caucasian/Asian" and then "male/female" and then what?
Or do you go all out and then divide them into male and female?
Having a hard time figuring out the objectively better way to organize your art folder
Mine is organized like this:
Bards
Vampire
Arabian nights (all Middle East inspired characters go there)
Dwarves and hobbits (also gnomes)
Groups
Children
Clerics (modern priests go there too)
Planetouched (dryads go there too)
Furries (Mouse Guard mice, shapeshifters, scalies, animal companions go there)
Villains (liches, nazis, undead, bandits, eldritch wizards, that sort of stuff)
Wizards and witches
Modern (anything from 19'th to 21'st century)
Sailors, pirates, and mermaids
Orcs and goblins
Paladins and knights
Rogues (here go ninjas and bandits)
Samurai and monks
Barbarians and rangers
Futuristic (cyberpunk, post-apoc, space opera, sci-fi go here)
Elves and satyrs
Elite and servants (nobles, peasants, non-adventurers)
ERP (lewd stuff goes there)
Separate folder for angels, demons, and deities, sub-folders Angels, Angelarium, Demons, 7 sins, Lovecraftians
Separate folder for monsters.
Separate one for srtefacts.
Where would you put a guy like this? Doesn't strike me as a knight to me. But maybe I'm being picky.
Thanks man, I will be stealing a lot of these.
I'm cooking up a setting for a CYOA I'm making
It's a post-apocalyptic setting, but instead of a single catastrophic event (e.g. a nuclear war), the apocalypse happens gradually because of several things including pollution, global warming, prolonged conventional warfare, etc.
So we have small pockets of survivors, often at war against each other, and vast polluted / irradiated / half-sunken / generally dead areas; the main feeling I'm trying to capture is the absolute desolation and despair that would permeate such a world
If you want a visual / audio feel of what I'm aiming for, watch the Death Stranding trailers
If anyone wants to post a few pics that could fit the setting, or has any idea for characters, I'd be grateful
I'll post what I've already got, if anyone wants me to go on just tell me
> Heinrich
>A combat medic and mercenary, wanders between settlements and nomad groups to earn a living by treating the wounded; quite jovial, but has a sadistic streak, and has begun to appreciate warfare and slaughter
>Hod
>A member of a warrior society that acts as something between a mercenary group and a cult of death, seeking to exterminate his enemies and gain glory and a violent death on the battlefield
This one is a sort of a guard. Would put in "Knights" folder because fighters and guards go there. Thanks BTW.

Save everything with original author and filename, if provided.
Add my own keywords to the filename for easier search.
The keywords are mine and work only for me, but I can easily find what I need each time
EVERYTHING in a single folder.
That's the fastest and mosr efficient way

That are still oriental flavored?
Quick question: Where does everyone find art outside of Veeky Forums?
DeviantArt, ArtStation, Pinterest.
I just put "[character concept] art" into google images and follow the path inevitably leading to pinterest, then lurk related selections.

dumb off topic question but, do image folders have a limit of how many pics you can save?
What, in your computer? The only limit is your hard drive space.
General world-types/settings
locations/ideas in that setting
nothing further, unless there is sub-locations/ideas
