>These faggots trying to replace Dragon Age, JoJo, and other decent jumps
>Still nobody actually tries a hand at Bayonetta.

Man.
Even with the jumpmaker giving explicit permission, it's just a buncha cowards up in here.

Man.

It's been years and you still haven't done it yourself, no matter how hard you pretend anyone else gives a shit. You're just a coward.

The only thing Bayonetta is good for is life drain porn. Fight me. I even 100%'d the game. Least the first one.

Have you considered that maybe it's just not that interesting or worthwhile of an IP?

Where can I go to curse my enemies with horrible misfortune?

My adventure itself is the rose. Every part of my adventure is wonderful! Except when it's horrible.
Then it's horribly wonderful!
Mac 'n' cheese. Except with shells instead of macaroni. And the sharpest of cheddars. High quality, well seasoned sausage is mixed in as well.
Seasoned gently with garlic, onion, salt, and pepper.
This is a thing I make IRL. I can only assume that at this point my Jumper has perfected it to orgasm-tier.

Always remember that you can replace any jump you want by making a fan-fiction jump.

Or by just making a jump of it, except it takes place in the past and/or future.

Generic Creepypasta has a Cryptid perk that lets you curse someone with bad luck that gets worse and worse until they eventually die. Combine it with Fate Worse Then Death, and you could curse someone to get dragged to Hell.

Actually, on that note, cursing someone to be dragged to Hell seems like a terrible idea unless they're wicked/evil. That shit will get the attention of the Big Man Upstairs real quick, and they'll probably end up being rescued anyway.

Harry Potter.
There's a creature called a Malaclaw who's venom causes the recipient to be unlucky.

Hey, so I already asked this towards the end of the last thread and got some great answers, but I figured it'd be a nice topic to start the thread with for people who come later.

I'm really looking for inspiration for my writefaggotry. What music do you guys listen to when you're looking for inspiration?

>Life drain porn

Excuse me?

Porn. About draining people's lives.

I use a Youtube Channel with possibly the most generic video titles.

youtube.com/user/MarK1Ira/videos

Cool thing is, he mostly just uses his views and subs to make sure other musicians, composers, and artists get attention.

I masturbate to this.
youtu.be/FgKcb8KFfQo

I think I'm a bit broken. When ever I'm writing happy/fluffy things I like to listen to sad music, like the Cancer cover by 21 pilots.

Oh right, I was only confused because the first one's life drained witches were tastefully hidden away in Balder's skyscraper you're zooming by too fast to really appreciate. And looks like regular old bloody orbs from the outside. Hence why there's no Bayonetta 1 life drain porn.

I have a bunch of different 'styles' that I listen to depending on what I'm trying to write. Certain settings get their own playlists, although they tend to be rather short. It's an eclectic mix generally because I'm shit at finding music on my own.

Action scenes tend to get Hiroyuki Sawano soundtracks mixed with trailers, of all things, primarily Ace Combat.

Melancholy gets more calm music, like Sting's newer stuff and a few choice pieces from Gundam and Kamen Rider sountracks.

...Probably the weirdest on the list is that when I just want to be productive and crank whatever I'm thinking about out, I'll put on SovietWomble's Alien: Isolation playthrough. Something about his screams is focusing.

Best places for rituals and ritual magic?

>watching Extella playthrough while it's raining

I don't want to draw the tamamo hating user's attention, but I can't help but notice the game makes Tamamo seem pretty dang evil. I'm just saying, it's a bit worrying when compared to you NERO is dutiful, polite to her non-husbando subordinates, strategically minded, respectful of personal boundaries and not inclined to lock you up in the Regalia.

That's because Tamamo-no-Mae IS evil. Like, the original, mythical version was a villain who was behind a lot of horrible things, such as enchanting a king and starting a reign of terror, manipulating a crown prince as his concubine to behead a thousand men, possessing a concubine of another king, and weaving her way into the Imperial Court as a woman who could answer any question in order to get close enough to weave magic and make the Emperor deathly ill and most likely kill him. It wasn't until much later that she was described as being repentant, and that was after the stone she was in released poisonous gas that killed many innocents and right before she was about to be exorcised anyway. It's quite possible she wasn't really repentant and was lying so she could get off easier.

With all that in mind, Fate Tamamo NOT acting evil would be weird. At least Nero was cool with the common people.

But the Bayonetta Jump is good

I mean a lot of (((evil))) Servants in Fate turn out to be dindus or crazy or something, so I don't know what to expect anymore.

I remember a while ago, someone said one of her incarnations is a potential Beast candidate. Any idea what her powers might be?

I also dimly remember someone said Nero is also a potential Beast candidate. It's like Tamamo isn't even allowed to do anything better than Nero

I haven't played Extella myself, because I heard Tamamo was mandatory.

This is good.

These are also good:
youtube.com/user/Dendera91
youtube.com/user/ThePrimeCronus
youtube.com/user/wersion751EXTENDED

No clue on that one. While Tamamo was definitely a threat and a menace, that came more from her intelligence, magic, and ability to control others in power. Even then, her schemes were always foiled in the end, and in that time she possessed a concubine, she literally achieved nothing before being driven away by normal humans. Doesn't seem Beast material to me.

That's because Nero is supposedly the Antichrist/Beast of Revelations, who we already know is the sixth Beast. Also the second most powerful, if I remember right.

Nero is called the Whore of Babylon, because the assumption is that this Whore in the bible is a reference to Rome, which would be ruled by Nero at the time of Revelations' writing. The Whore of Babylon is said to ride a dragon, which is sometimes called the beast of 666. However, from what we saw in Prototype, I think it's pretty clear that Sixth Beast/Beast of 666 in Fate is based on Satan in his dragon form, who shows up later in Revelations.

Not to mention proto Arthur is hunting the 666 Beast across dimensions and would probably mention something on seeing Nero if it was her.

What should I wish for in Disney? I am doing a Magic!Tech jumper and its my second jump.

Wish for being a genius when it comes to combining magic and technology.

Who's supposed to be the stronkest?

The most powerful sorcerer in the world!
The greatest/smartest/most talented inventor in the world!
The best enchanter in the world!

It's a complete mystery. We know there are 7 Beasts, and we know that ol' Scratch is number 6. Who could be the seventh is unclear.

The missing beasts right now are 3-R (supposedly like a reverse side of Kiara), 5, and of course 7. If Amaterasu is a beast, she has to be one of those.

Some nigga called The VII of the End.

We know nothing about him other than according to Caster Gil he was summoned on Earth somewhere around the time Goetia unleashed itself.

Speaking of Goetia, after digging up all the True Demon info I can find I've come to the odd conclusion that while the individual Pillar Demons are imaginary ones, Goetia himself is a True Demon because he was more or less created by God.

Infinite, perfect coffee to stay awake while working.

>reverse side of Kiara
>Buddha is going to be an Evil of Man

NASU

NASU DON'T YOU DARE

>The opposite of Lust is Detachment

>The final, most powerful Beast is already here
Uh oh.

The reward for the Darkest Dungeon gauntlet is a pretty good ritual focus location.

The downside being that it's a Gauntlet.

>It could be /anyone/
>Merlin said Fou and he had something in common
>Merlin is half-incubus, and in certain legends was supposed to be the Devil's son
>Merlin can use all the True Magics, is a better swordfighter than Arturia and his C rank Noble Phantasm can shut down Tiamat's sea of life without him even using the Grand Caster status

UH OH

>you have to team up with Sun Wukong to beat Buddha
>Sun Wukong turns out to be a spunky tsundere tomboy not!Saiyan

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

REJOICE

Is Rise/CORE different enough from vanilla DxD to justify its own jump?

>NOOOOO...
That's not how you spell "YES!"

There's little better in this world than spunky tomboys saiyans.

Is it? Can you justify it as being different? if you know the series, you should probably know if it's different enough.

Before we had the Frozen jump, some user had the idea of wishing for Elsa's ice powers. Actually, you could still do that, and get a separate power from Frozen for double fun.

Jafar literally wishes to be "the most powerful sorcerer in the world" in Aladdin, and while there's probably a limit to how much that grants due to Disneyverse allowance, you're still looking at what looks to be for all intents and purposes Maleficent level power, which is nothing to sneeze at.

One of the Organization rooms in Generic CreepyPasta makes magical rituals more powerful

Oh, and he can make Noble Phantasms too! Apparently he thought up Invisible Air. Despite not having EX Item Creation

And he can swap genders.

SO THAT'S JUST GREAT, (maybe) the most powerful Beast ever is a Jumper playing with double CP house rules.

THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SERIOUS HISTORICAL FANTASY SERIES WHAT HAPPENED ppffffffhahahahaha okay no I can't even type that with a straight face

You know Item Creation EX was OC right?

Yes, but it's an SB quest, so we don't tolerate that trash in our midst.

Can you explain what makes it different?

Well, the good news is that Merlin is trapped in Avalon...r-right? Oh God, what if he's just been faking it in order to fuck with everyone, or if he's letting himself be trapped there so that he can't destroy the world.

It definitely is, though I have no idea why you'd want to bring that SB cancer over here.

CORE starts decades before DxD normally would have and there are a ridiculous number of ripple effects and OC thrown in, with a lot of it caused by every faction rolling dice for everything from the power levels of major characters to whether or not Rias is born as twins.

The end result is that humanity as a whole is somehow on par with the big three factions, lead from the shadows by a secret organization among secret organizations who literally control pretty much the entire world economy, and who's leader has literally become Ophis', Great Red's, Sarafall's, and God's waifu/father.

>has literally become Ophis', Great Red's, Sarafall's, and God's waifu/father.

Count me in for that!

As long as you don't offer the same things as in the main DxD jump, I don't see why it couldn't work.

Seems a bit...shit if I'm honest with how you described that last bit.

That...sounds cool yet weird. I say go for it I love the idea of Humanity being able to stand against the rest on even footing.

This.... is some serious madness. I can get behind a jump for it though.

Sounds like a shit-tier trainwreck.

Chaos Brigade was a mistake

I want to ask for a link to this but I am scared to read it now.

I never said they weren't but with how the devils collect humans with sacred gears it always bugged me.

Do you think you'd be able to make a jump without it being mostly a retread of the existing one? There's room to share some things but if it ends up looking like a poor copy to get some more sacred gears, it won't end well.

It's mainly a result of the Quest main character, who survived from beginning to end despite the quest originally supposed to be dynastic, being really good at economics and persuasion, basically fixing every problem by talking at it and throwing money around.

The only reason they got nearly as far as they did was because, if memory serves, they literally invented modern computing technology like a decade in advance with a natural crit roll.

So a Mary Sue. Really solidifies the idea that it's shit.

It is, yeah, though it was an entertaining trainwreck at one point.

Should be a few links in there:

>tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Roleplay/AGeeksGuideCorporationOfOccultResearchAndExtermination

You must not enjoy a lot of fiction, then, if your definition of "Mary Sue" is based on "surviving to the end of the story" and "solving most of their problems".

>economics and persuasion
Oh I need to read this now. I'll look forward to a jump too if it you decide to go ahead with it. Thinkers solving problems via Thinker-ing are always my favorite.

>Should be a few links in there:
Ah thank you, I kept looking for CORE and not thinking it was an acronym.

Also, in this quest, God actually managed to reincarnate. Its the biggest difference that I remember is that they rolled well enough to prepare for their death and rebirth. The MC literally adopted her and raised her alongside Vali.

Really? Because 'fixing every problem by talking at it and throwing money around' seems like mary sue territory to me.

As opposed to?

>raising God's reincarnation as a daughter
That's like raising one of your parents as a reincarnated child, except on a much grander scale. Did she remember anything about being God?

They specialize in persuasion and economics, and prefer to solve most of their problems that way. They didn't literally mean that they fix /every/ problem with money and diplomacy.

As opposed to what? You don't think solving every single issue in the DxD world with talking and money is absurd?

Nope. They found her half dead in Brazil as a toddler being drained for her blood which the cartels were selling as a drug.

So it's edgetastic in addition to the usual anti shonen stuff, then?

...well that's dark. I'm guessing the cartels got stomped into the ground?

Not as much as the sequel, but yes.

CORE is honestly closer in tone to DxD then Rise is, the MC even basically has harem.

So I take it you're an SBer.

It's pretty much 40k with a DxD paintjob.

Different enough? Sure. Able to avoid a heavy case of One True Build syndrome? Not in the slightest. Everyone would go Aspect, if they had the option. And if you didn't offer it, people would complain.

Is anyone working on a Horus Heresy Jump?

What's the power level in Devil Survivor 2? I can't tell from the wiki.

>And if you didn't offer it, people would complain.
Nah, only SBers would complain, and their opinions are worthless. And that's if non-SBers were even familiar enough to care. Besides, plenty of jumps prevent you from purchasing or obtaining the super speshul protagonist powers, not much reason for this to be different.

The same as every SMT/Persona jump.

>Everyone would go Aspect, if they had the option.
Not if you attach, like, twenty mandatory drawbacks to it.

What exactly is an Aspect?

SMTs have different powerlevels though across games. The top dogs in SMT were only mid-level in later games, for example. Also, Persona tends to be less powerful than mainline SMT.

what is the best perk/set of perks to become a one-mind many-bodies style hivemind? or whatever the actual term for that would be

Sorry if this sounds unhelpful, but a step up from SMT 1.

One angel with prep time can blow up the planet. There are many being described as more powerful than that angel. Also a relatively minor demon called Jack Frost can freeze the planet-again, they usually need a long time to charge up this sort of magic, and in combat you basically have Pokemon attacks except certain buffs can pierce through elemental defences against all logic.

Singularity from Generic Hentai Fantasy.

Eclipse Phase. Be a massively-parallel set of synchronized ego stacks, linked together by outside-of-jump FTL communications.

I haven't played any of them sorry.
Thank you! That's really helpful actually.

What jump has the best FTL communication system?

In CORE, the extreme power level of the canon characters God, Trihexa, Great Red and Ophis was explained as them being incarnate aspects of reality. Creation, Destruction, Dreams and Infinity, respectively. Which is sort of canon, Great Red and Ophis being those things is, at least, and you could make an argument for God and Trihexa. Not too much OC, there. Then in Rise several other new Aspects have arisen, including the protagonist who is the Aspect of Conflict. It's the in-character reason for why he's powerleveling so much, because Conflict is a really easy concept to draw power from by doing protagonist things and opposing villains.

Planet Subconscious perks from Alpha Centauri.

Why do we even need multiple SMT jumps? They're all pretty much the same, anyway: divine being tries to start the apocalypse, generic protagonist and their gang of anime cliches try to stop it. Same mechanics, too.

You're welcome, wish I could help more. I think Remiel (the planetbusting one) is actually supposed to be an archangel (so pretty high up), he's just in deep cover trying to get you/Amane to go Law. At any rate, Metatron is definitely supposed to be stronger and he retreated when the protag summoned 2 Bels.

For reference, Bels are the 7 shattered fragments of the demon that ruled the world before YHVH took over. One of them, Beldr (yes he is based on the Norse god), is invincible to all attacks (even ones enhanced by stuff like Pierce, the bullshit elemental bypasser) except mistletoe on a conceptual level-because that apparently includes phone straps shaped like mistletoe.

He is not considered the strongest Bel. In fact Lucifer, the most powerful being on the side of Chaos, says he considers the whole conflict irrelevant.

Because the context changes a lot, which is interesting. It's like saying all harem animes start with some dork who gets a bunch of sexy fit/cute women fighting over him.
