Speaking of legit custom characters, I tried to make one for a campaign i'm going to be in come a few weeks time. I run a fast SM chapter with a shitload of jump packs and psykers/melee units, and nothing really catered to that for me. I don't want to make it too OP, and we're limited to making them worth 200pts. Does this fit the bill?

Use BT and remove the reroll charges buff, also he should have a pistol of some sort

The only unit that hands out more buffs than this is Guilliman

The only true answer is Nurgle renegade and Heretecs, lost and the damned lead by Commander Fartsenheimer and his cadre of Maelific Asslords. They have a bitterness toward the Deathguard for denying the great wind of Nurgle. Their flatulent hell hounds will not aid the bloated Deathguard.

Reroll charges feels least imaginative one due to it being Bt tactic, psyker one feels out of place and the +1 a seems ok

So far i've got:

Remove a buff

Remove Storm Bolter, add Pistol (Plasma probably)

Cause less damage on the sword? He doesn't give anyone else mortal wounds - only his own attacks do that on a 6+ to wound.

Make mortal wounds just a flat 1 on a 6 and get rid of a buff, give him pistol but let him keep stormbolter if you want
