So how does your girlfriend feel about your love of tabletop?
Does she play too, or does she think it's a dumb hobby for nerds?

She doesn't really care.

she dms sexy sexy adventures for me

If I wanted to waste money while at the same time increasing my blood pressure and reducing my lifespan, I'd eat luxury chocolate for every meal instead. That way I'd at least get to enjoy the taste of my inevitable demise.
Are you married to a teenager?
>girlfriend
Well, I don't think my wife, Lum-chan, knows.
Why did this bitch get all slipery wet when her husband turned into a psycho killer?
Like I don't get it
Because she didn't know about the psycho killer part, and Kira is smooth. Like, REALLY smooth.
My right hand is okay with it
Dark Triad. Due to some evolutionary fuck-up, serial killers make women incredibly wet. Hence motherfuckers like Ted Bundy getting tons of love letters and even proposals while on death row.
Nah, our hobbies don't cross over much. I'm into tabletop, reading and writing, and she's more into traditional art. We both love music though. Sometimes she joins me for making characters just because it's fun to share ideas.
For us it's really not so much about what we've got in common and more about being there for healing and supporting each other. Sometimes it's hard to talk at length but we don't really need to if we can be just as happy cuddling and listening to music.
...
Well in the man-goo, her husband was a milquetoast piece of shit who ignored her. Then, due to him being KILLED and REPLACED by a dude whose so alpha he manifests it as a cat ghost, suddenly he was interesting.
Statistically speaking i'm prettttty sure it's the opposite, married people live longer and healthier lives
My wife makes fun of it, lightly. But also likes a lot of the stuff around it. She has no interest in playing, but likes that I buy art supplies for making maps and screens and handouts, and thinks they're fun. But she has her hobbies, I have mine, and it's good that some of them don't overlap.
>Your girlfriend
I'm sorry but I don't understand the question.
Please delet the question
My wife frequently GMs for my group. She's taught me a few things about GMing. She was a gamer long before I ever was, also.
What is the OP image from, anyway?
She joins in, depending on the system.
It's fan-art of JoJo.
Yoshikage Kira is a (magical) serial killer who murders this womans husband and takes his place, this goes unnoticed by her because their marriage was estranged anyway and Kira is basically an autistic genius (plus the magic part, what with the STANDO POWA)
However after he inserts himself into his victems life she gets REALLY into him again, much to the confusion and chagrin of Kira, whose just using the family as cover and will probably kill the wife later when he gets bored. It eventually causes a lot of conflicting emotions in him that leads to nothing because he gets the death he very much deserves before it goes anywhere and is then shown being dragged to hell by the angry souls of his victims
>Please delet the question
OK, but OP is just going to remake the thread again tomorrow.
How many boards have you made this exact same thread on?
I see one at least on /co/
Gays don't think like that either though.
why is this thread made so often?
I'm pretty sure that was a colloquial use of "gay", faggot.
See: the last sentence
I'm the one who introduced my husband to tabletop RPGs.
>So how does your girlfriend feel about your love of tabletop?
She's apparently enthralled in a setting i'm writing. So good?
Why must you hurt me like this
My fiancee really enjoys TRPGs, unfortunately the last group we played with broke up because the host and his wife (who also played) had to move, and we haven't found a new group since. I still show her new settings and systems though and we sometimes make characters for fun. She also enjoys the more elaborate Veeky Forums style board games like Talisman, though she's not in 40k and the like. She's tried playing with me, and she enjoys seeing what I paint and assemble, but its just not for her. She likes reading about the lore though.
> Always finds a reason for her character to be naked
> Visibly aroused (blush, dilated pupils, etc.) whenever she describes killing something, especially humanoids
> Fucks every NPC, particularly female ones
> Pouts when she fails a roll or save
> Describes her outfits in every detail, including what's visible and what isn't
> Fairly clear her fetishes include succubi, death, dismemberment, mutilation, blood play, lesbianism, orgies and BDSM, and insists on taking the party through her magical realm whenever possible
> Leaves me to control 99% of her character from a mechanical standpoint, beyond making vague decisions like "I cast Web" or "I cast Fire Bolt at the shaman."
> Still one of my better players, since she's the most intelligent player and can actually strategize.
> Her magical realm is my magical realm, too, I just refuse to bring it up during game.
Neither one of us is getting into Veeky Forums Heaven.
>tfw
You know she's going to murder you in some horrifying ritualistic manner and run off with another girl, right?
Live like a neet or die like a legend.
She was a drawfriend on Veeky Forums back in the day. Not a great GM but a damn fine player. Does art for stuff, also edits, also playtests.
But other than that, we're pretty much yuppies.
We only got into TT recently, I suggested we do it and she just went along with it. She ended up getting really enthralled in it though, probably more into it than I am but she's new to fantasy as a whole and is just amazed at how unique it all is. Due to never having any interaction with fantasy even the concept of Dwarves living in mountains and being the greatest smiths of the land is cool and fresh to her We planned out a character for her and it just spiralled out from there, it's gotten to the point where I'll be in bed and then she'll message me because she wants to talk about this great idea for her character and how he's gonna interact with X or Y. Since I'm DM I was worried she would expect special treatment or be too awkward to roleplay but as it is she's easily my best player.
That's cute as shit, but where do you find an adult human being nowadays who is so sheltered from any media that dwarves are a novel concept? Ever since lord of the rings came out, anything fantasy is as mainstream as the simpsons
not
but
seeOr just straight-up normies.
She was a huuuuge normie, only videogames she's ever played have been the sims and that Kim Kardashian game for the phone. The most she knew about Dwarves is that they do mining, them living in the mountains and having their cities connected to their mines blew her mind. The concept of woodelves was equally confusing. I'm actually kind of jealous almost none of us will ever experience that kind of wonder in a tabletop or any sort of media.
The group of noobs I run games for is fun. They've never heard of a lot of the standard tropes.
The first time they met a basilisk it scared the shit out of them... so they decided that the obvious course of action was to tame it. Because if it scared the shit out of them, imagine what it would do to their enemies!
They also decided that eating dungeon meat would give them superpowers. They'd never heard of magic potions before, so the fact that some effects were temporary was a bit of a bummer (but a great relief to the player who had been transformed into a seagull)
we play together
both board games and rpgs. Our current favorite system is apocalypse world. other than that I like savage worlds and she leans more toward fate
Eventho she does not give a damn about neither Warhammer/AoS/any other TT nor RPG, she enjoys playing board games with my group, and is my main critique when it comes to paiting miniatures.
To be fair that Kim Kardashian game is weirdly good
OP is what's known as a feels fiend, he preys on the feels on lonely anons and feeds on their >tfwnogfs, the best you can to fight is go out and meet a nice girl
Shes a GURPS evangelist...

My ex used to play with us. She was really bad, but at least she liked it a lot and had fun.
She introduced me to TT in my first year of uni. We (almost) regularly have game nights with our housemates where half the time we play D&D 5e instead of vidya.
She used to be the kind of cunt who made openly-lesbian characters and made us all very fucking uncomfortable (such is the power of Wattpad fanfic authors). On the other hand, she's the 2nd most competent player in the house in the sense that she still roleplays pretty well AND gets stuff done IC, all without powergaming like a scrub.
Right now she's making up a setting and learning to DM in our usual one's stead. I have to keep a close eye on her since her setting rips off GoT and anime whenever I'm not paying attention
Mine plays to but she plays mega weeb characters and thinks D20 systems are the best. Like the kind of D20 system where a Nat 20 means you do whatever you say. Exp- kill a god. Or 1 shot lvl 20s.
And Nat 1s are 100% for practical jokes like slapping the monsters ass instead of stabbing it's chest.
>depends on system
...
>married people live longer and healthier lives
I'd like to see the data for that, because a lot of these marriage promoting studies tend to intentionally use definitions that favor the end result they desire. To name the most prominent example, many use "married vs unmarried" rather than "have been married vs never been married". The problem here? The "unmarried" category includes people who have been married but divorced and puts them in the same category as those who never marry. This leads to a conclusion that should surprise nobody: men who spend their lives in happy, succesful marriages are happier and live longer than divorcees. Yet this neutral data is rewritten in such a form that it actually promotes marriage as something positive.
As the saying goes, there are three types of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics.
She loves roleplaying and even gm CoC. She doesn't really give a fuck about minis tho.
I'm really sorry for you man.
Kouhai is 2cute.
Himura Kiseki's wonderfully simple brand of escapism blunts the sharp edge of my late-20s/post-breakup depression just enough to keep me functional
I see you to read escapist romance manga. It's always good to meet another man of culture and learning.
I had a girlfriend that used to whinge at me for going out to play Malifaux once a week with my friends. Also called tabletop gaming gay and tried to get me to stop playing.
I dumped her. bitches come and go, tabletop has been with me before women and it will be here until the end.
>bitches come and go, tabletop has been with me before women and it will be here until the end
>why do you have nuts in your pants?
wha?
>This thread, again and again, every few days
making a lot of assumptions here buddy
Having a girlfriend would inevitably lead into a life of working 9/6 with no free time until I die, so I will never find out.
But if I had one, she'd probably be cool with it or else I wouldn't have started to go out with that lady in the first place.
She rolls her eyes at it, occasionally pokes fun and refers to me and my friends as incels and virgin dweebs. Doesn't like me spending too much time with them. Broke up with her this week, actually.
tyyytyty
My wife lacks the patience for ttrpgs, tends to be play vidya on my game days. Pic related when she plays OW.
She plays too. We play in the same group. It's fun to share your hobby with your girlfriend.
>'d like to see the data for that
well feel free to research it yourself, or better yet, greentext about how nobody is spoonfeeding you and how that must mean you're in the right, then go on with your life secure in the smug feeling that your opinions must be correct
>Christian
Religion has no place in today's society
She doesn't care and thinks they look neat. She finds it too complicated still and finds the 40k /aos setting a bit too scary and boyish.
I'm hoping sisters of battle will get an update soon so I can rope her in with that.
But desu she's clearly not keen on gaming with me and would rather just bring me snacks while I paint.
We don't need antisocial fuckwits breeding anyway.
Gee dude, you sound pretty rustled. I mean, if you actually had anything to reliably evidence your claim, it probably would've taken you less time to post it and actually maybe change someone's mind than it would to have carved that pillar of salt you just posted. Boyee, I wonder which one would've been more productive?
Because right now I'm inclined to believe the guy who gave a reasoned argument rather than you slamming your fucking balls into the keyboard and screaming at us.
Top tier reply desu
More people need to read this with their bullshit source requests.
I've seen Veeky Forums, and either Veeky Forums, Veeky Forums, or both.
I honestly can't tell whether this is supposed to be sarcastic anymore.
>make blanket statement about something
>someone asks if you have any proof
>hop on the desk screaming and flinging your shit like a chimp insisting they need to go look for it themself
>people ignore/disregard your initial statement
Yeah, you tell 'em.
im in a relationship with a girl i met playing A Game Of Thrones 2nd edition. She was very interesting and sweet and we are together for 5 years now. We have a small collection of boardgames and we enjoy playing heavy stuff like Dominant Species or Dungeon Petz or we can go for lighter stuff like Time Stories, Gold West, Codenames, Sherlock Holmes Consultive Detective etc... Wargames we only played Battle Lore 2nd ed and she really liked it a lot. We also tried X-Wing, Dropzone Commander and Armada .... On RPGs we are part of 2 different D&D groups as players an I DM another group. We love role play a lot. We are now exploring the new wave of "Escape Room Games" that hit the market. Like Unlock and Exit. She really is into puzzles. This Sunday we will try Exit. Boardgames are pretty good to spend time with friends but amazing for spending quality time just the two of us. We are playing the first campaign of Arkham Horror LCG.... really great stuff. She is not really a PC gamer but we play Divinity original sin like mad people. She loves it to bits. Thats it pretty much.... we are very much in love and enjoy live and good food and above all each other. pic related :)
>refers to me and my friends as incels and virgin dweebs.
Congratulations, she's dating an incel virgin dweeb and said so herself. Glad you got out.
Weird thing was that she was the super desperate one. Couldn't ever just cuddle or hang out without her trying to make sex happen, and god forbid I wasn't in the mood - clearly that meant I think she's hideous and that it was worth breaking down into tears over.
My boyfriend likes it. He's really into anime and stuff, and I'm into tabletop. We both have our hobbies
>2017
>having a gf
Been there, it's stressful. Fun when it's working but other than that you're just waiting for whatever else is gonna set her off.
>Not having a fetish for the mentally disabled

Literally whats the difference nowdays?
It disgusts me that you haven't thought of playing Double Cross with your >bf
Or have you?
Bifag, can confirm, boyfriends > girlfriends basically 100% of the time.
I've never heard of double cross
Cute, androgynous bfs are best bfs
Shit forgot to take my name off from an rp thread. rip
I'm 38. My wife said "I knew you were into it, I just didn't know you were this into it".

She enjoys the gaming aspect of it aka combat. But any bigger commitment than just playing it once a week (reading the lore, painting models, learning extra rules or exploring options to develop her character) is out of the question. She really enjoys playing pathfinder, but magic the gathering and 40k are out of her attention span. But boy, can she watch netflix all the time.
I wish I didnt enjoy tits this much (or that I liked dicks). Being gay of bi seems so much easier than dealing with a fucking girl friend.

She's pretty into it. She's decently good too. She grew up in a family that was all about that stuff. We've played all sorts of stuff, with each other and her family.
That said, her being geeky, attractive, and younger doesn't make up for being totally crazy. I probably understand how feels.
Yeah, gay guys can be just as much drama and bs as women, if not moreso. Relationships aren't suddenly going to get easier just because you decide to switch teams.
It's kind of an odd relationship. We both do the roleplaying thing, but we maintain separate groups. Never do RPG's together.
Board games, card games, video games, sure, we'll play all those together. She can get really competitive over it too, which is fine by me since I rather enjoy watching her get worked up when she's behind.
I introduced her to it and she fucking loves it, plays slightly marysueish elves, very involved, pays attention, loves the RP, probably the best player at the table despite being so new to it.
As far as our relationship goes she goes from a cock-hungry nympho to a quivering mess of insecurities in the blink of an eye, very needy and very very codependent, there's also the 8 year age gap to think of but she more than makes up for it.
It's the first relationship of this kind I've been in, pic related
