This is a really beautiful kit. Probably won't buy these for TY because lol spam hordes, but if Battlegroup NORTHAG includes an option, I'd be down to buy a box.
Christian Brown
Sergeant york is in because only soviets aren't allowed kit that's coming online this year.
Benjamin Carter
Is there any proof it is in? BF aren't retarded; they know if they include that it'll look terrible compared to the realism constraints warpac have to live with. They can add little stuff that's a reskin of other things slightly ahead of time, like the MCT but they'll know adding entirely new capabilities that infamously didn't work is just totally validating requests for the T-80U.
Adam Jones
One of the battlefront dudes (James maybe, even though he isn't with the company anymore) was defending it when people were bashing it, so I wouldn't rule it out. This is the same game where a Chieftain has FA 17, so can we really rule anything out?
Leo Reed
>This is the same game where a Chieftain has FA 17, so can we really rule anything out? Sanity
Oliver Reed
Defending it is different from actually including it in a book though. It would just be too stupid. They might, heavy emphasis on might, do Sheridans. Those are at least sort of around. The York didn't even work.
Easton Morgan
Got any proof?
So far the only thing questionable as far as the timeline are the Krasnapol projectiles on the Acacia.
Those technically shouldn't be in service until 1986 or '87.
To bring in a unit that never even entered production would just be idiotic.
Jackson Taylor
Bumping with crazy Yugo tank.
Yes, they crammed a 6pdr into the turret. Upside down, it looks like.
Ryder Fisher
Interesting design.
What are some other less common tanks from WWII that don't get too much attention?
Sure, everyone knows the big ones, but what are some lesser known tanks that you find interesting or unique for one reason or another?
Isaac Moore
Personally I love the Tetrach and Locust, but with how much I gush about them around here I don't think they qualify as "don't get much attention".
I think the Ram probably qualifies. Nobody pays any real attention to it or it's variants, despite the conversions seeing widespread use in NW Europe. You've got Badgers (Rams with flamethrowers with/instead of the turret), Kangaroo transports, the Sexton was made from the base chassis, and it got used as an observer tank and artillery tractor/ARV.
Angel Williams
I'm all about prototypes that didn't enter production because the war ended but were functional and ready for the war. Stuff like the Black Prince, T28, T29, super-hellcat.
Dylan Perry
>TFW the T-44 was produced in several versions but never deployed.
Aaron Carter
Where is Discord? How can I shitpost without Discord?
Evan Garcia
>So far the only thing questionable as far as the timeline are the Krasnapol projectiles on the Acacia. And the MCT. More importantly we're missing things that were here like ERA.
Ayden Bell
Isn't ERA supposedly another one of those edge cases where it wasn't fully implemented until 86 or 87?
I know people keep saying they saw it in 85, but supposedly the official documents list it as being in service after that.
Jonathan Gray
Is that a somua with an improvised turret?
Christopher Clark
Normal turret with the Cupola modified by the Germans to have a hatch, and with the gun mount extended by the Yugoslavian Partisans to fit a whole 6pdr into the turret. It's a beat up old girl.
And I am NOT looking forward to that cupola job on the conversion I'm making for it.
Brody Murphy
it's a fucking bogandof tank, what it is.
Somuas don't deserve such hate.
Owen Brooks
I really doubt it, but has anyone here built the FFI rifle platoon (FR860)? BF lists the contents as 25 riflemen and support weapon options, but doesn't detail what exactly those support weapons are model-wise.
Joshua Miller
Any guesses to what new kit PSC will be spoiling in about 12 hours?
Robert Gomez
Gepard? Centurion? Char B? >hamilcar?
Benjamin Brown
It's going to be wwII.
Sebastian Martin
How are the T-35s in V4? >I'm trying to summon hype enough for me to finish painting them

small GuP news: The Centipede team is essentially Villian tier now

The multiple weapons rule hurt their cannon performance as they also suffer the additional +1 for hen and Chicks. MG fire on the move still works fine. I just bought 3 to support some infantry. I am hoping to use them as an assault threat against infantry.
Austin Myers
I'm hoping for Valentines, but I'm usually dissapointed.

All they need is enough pre-orders.
And with the way people have been bitching and moaning about them not being in Mid-War yet, that shouldn't be a problem.
Kevin Bennett
>And with the way people have been bitching and moaning about them not being in Mid-War yet, that shouldn't be a problem. Also many LW soviet players that want a mob of 10 tanks with good AT and armor for 230pts.
Connor Rodriguez
That's on T-72s, for example the Kontakt-1-equipped T-72Bs and B1s you see everywhere in Russia. The T-64Bs (and T-80Bs, too...) of the GSFG were equipped with Kontakt-1 ERA from 1983 to 1985. And then, in 1985, the Soviets came up with the T-80U, but that's a whole different thing.
Ayden Parker
The only thing I don't like about the willstarter is that I can't support my store when buying them.
Brandon Campbell
Given how small PSC is (2-3 guys?), they don't really have other options I can think of.
Jack Davis
I'm getting one or two boxes for my LW soviets. Same slot as T-70s, only a bit more expensive, vastly superior in every way but speed. Yeah.
I need something cheap to deal with the emerging transport mg hordes.

What are peoples issue with this painting? Seems like a pretty accurate representation of a German position being overrun at Kursk or such.
Noah Hughes
Do you honestly think that it's accurate?
Sebastian Lopez
Tanks don't get that close together unless they wall want to get shot, the tanks are split between types assigned to at least four entirely different company types, for some reason the Germans are attacking through their own artillery (based off the way the destroyed tanks are positioned and the nebs) and the sky is way too crowded. It's an obviously exaggerated painting that depicts very little accurately, which is what people are making fun of.
Jace Lewis
That's the Battle of Kursk, you dummkopf.
Sebastian Jackson
It is a very exaggerated painting that's supposed to be of kursk, yes. Doesn't change that it would match or resemble nothing that you'd find at kursk. People are making fun of the exaggeration.
Evan Russell
The fate
Ryder Anderson
No that's a napoleonic era battle with tanks and planes
Colton Parker

>more than 45 minutes long
I'll have to take a look at this when I have a bit more time.
Brandon Cox
this guy smashes most tank myths with a hammer.
ok, 50,000 tanks at Kursk was a myth, but for fuck sake it is still the largest tank battle in history. accurate figures were more like 8,000 tanks total for the entire thing. that's still a fucking lot, considering 73 easting only had 850-ish tanks present and the US only had 36 tanks at the one ridge battle, the rest was bradleys
Anthony Long
It's not the largest tank battle in history.
Jonathan Fisher
...
Blake Campbell
Okay, so if Kursk isn't, then what is?
Charles Johnson
A strong argument could be made for the Second Battle of El Alamein.
Adrian Clark
I've seen the Battle of Brody mentioned as a alternative.
Michael Miller
Dubno 1941
Blake Gray
We have a winner.
Benjamin Brown
Do you have sources to substantiate any of this?
Because a quick wikipedia check puts soviet armoured losses alone at kursk as well higher than the number of tanks present at any of these battles.
Juan King
The difference being "the battle of kursk" covers two entire operations, while the battle of prokhorova is said to be the biggest single tank battle of the war. If you want to count the whole thing you also have to count the whole of barbarossa or at least Uranus, which still wins.
Bentley Campbell
At this point the real question is what defines a battle, which is semantics.
Hunter Stewart
Can someone edit Red Thunder so it doesn't have that white boarder around it?
Parker Bailey
I heard Battlefront has a version without the white border. Might be worth checking out.
Matthew Rogers
That means giving them money. After their recent fuckups, he'd be somewhat justified in thinking they don't deserve it.
Easton Diaz
Guess he'll have to deal with the white border then. The world is a cruel place.
Luke Martin
If somebody has Photoshop or another program capable of doing such a thing.
I know I don't.
Juan Sanders
Upgrading zvezda short 75mm lees to long 75mm guns with remains of BF grants. Zvezda 37mm guns are too thin and fragile, so I changed turret with BF ones.
Leo Morgan
The BF ones come with enough spare parts to do all that and still make the base Grants?
Brandon Morales
Awesome work on those conversions!
Carson Stewart
Yes, except storage bins on its back. There are only a pair of sloped bins makes them in parallel with the ground when attached. Actually there are a pair of additional squared storage bins looks sloped when put on the tank but I did not found any pictures of lees used such type of bins.
Thanks!
Chase Murphy
fokkin noice mate!
Connor Collins
hah Kursk was a 3 part offensive, and it was OPERATION CITADEL and then the soviet counter. barbarossa / uranus was earlier: zitadelle was to be longer than just kursk, but, we see how Kursk fared.

Absolute madman. This is awesome. How much fiddling did it take to put the long 75 into the Zvezda kit?
Oliver Peterson
So on a scale of Warhammer Fantasy to Battletech how dead is this game?
Ethan Miller
You need to cut exceeding part of BF gun like picture to fit it to zvezda hull.
Robert Parker
Not dead at all, well as always depends where you play. It's just a bit divided ATM, as some people are sticking with V3, and others are moving in with V4.
MW looks like it's finally getting back on track at my FLGS. All the Fighting First stuff has sold out. The British and German releases were lackluster and they didn't sell at all.
Levi Gutierrez
TY at least is pretty big. We've just had a summer campaign (in it's last week now) and we're getting wave 2 stuff.
