I also use this as an alternative (this entire soundtrack is really good for mood music)
These are... weird. Not sure if I'd call them bad, but I don't see how they fit with Strahd's mood.
Either way, vidya music fits tabletop really well, especially horror, if that's what you are going for.

Darkest dungeon music is pretty good for anything you're trying to play as dangerous.
This is really good, thank you
These sound distorted up for some reason? Not sure if that's intentional
Thank you
For Madmen/Cultists/Demons and generally unsettling fights, I like Drakengard 1's ost:

I've enjoyed using this for Mid-level tough encounters or certain finales. It's a ton of fun
The whole game has a lot of good fantasy music

My BBEG's theme desu senpai
Witcher 3's blood and wine dlc has some awesome vampire fight music
This is my go to, especially if it's set up to be a hard fight
Best theme for boss fights with joke-pc's

don't mind me just being a retard and forgetting the link
Here are some songs from Bastion that I think go well with low to mid level combat against enemies that aren't too edgy or grimdark. I like the idea of a party in a tough fight with Kobolds or something similar with this stuff in the background

Bastion also just has a great soundtrack overall, for a few different situations. This song can be pretty good for dungeon-delving, between encounters.

When I used to play a game called Town of Salem (a text based murder mystery game). I used to play the album Giles Corey for the atmosphere. It matches the gothic horror genre really well.
If you wanna hear good music for a more horror themed game check out the first Shadow Hearts OST
Link or dine in hell
don't, just stop you fucking fat maggot.
>listening to Giles Corey while playing Town of Salem
this is the most autistic thing I've read on this site in a while
I listen to the DOOM ost all the time. So good.
>These sound distorted up for some reason? Not sure if that's intentional
aside from the Silent Hill one, they are made by Mick Gordon, he likes distortions.
Although, I think only the DOOM one is really distorted.
