Should I stick to 3x Heavy Bolters on my standard Lemans or is giving them all 4 of them Plasma Cannon sponsons a better idea? I have enough tank commanders to give all of them orders if necessary.

I'm really glad I started with Death Guard for 8th edition and not Thousand Sons as I originally intended. The DG codex is a wonderful mix of grimdark and fun stuff.

The rules themselves are great, and I like every unit, psychic power and so on.

The artist side of the hobby tickles my fancy too, I really like painting the DG models. Plus socially I'm meeting people and talking about things that I find interesting.

This is why I don't expect zerkers or noise marines anytime soon. FW basically already does it - i use 30 kakophini as my noise marines and I get A) compliments and B) people asking me if they're 3rd party. 3 sonic dreads sitting in my backfield and everyone knows they're FW but no one suspects the infantry for some reason.

As an Ork player I would say it depends on the main gun, if its anything that shoots at infantry i'd take the 3 HBs

Blood Warrior Berserkers are pretty great too. Just be sure to convert the feet.

Battle Cannon, Lascannon, 2x HB is the best all around armarment for the Russ.

I plan to 'theme' my poxwalkers with colours, party cuz it's cool, party cuz it's easier to do and partly so you can tell what guy is from what unit.
