Gnomes and Halflings

Long story short, I'm trying to track down as much of the official artwork D&D and Pathfinder has made for gnomes and halflings as possible. Can anyone share?

Also, let's have a shortfolk thread; what do you like about these races? What problems do you have with them? How would you fix them?

I can't tell if this is a gnome or a halfling, but I know it looks awesome.

Gods, this was fucking hideous. Please tell me there are better artworks for halflings in 5e?

Mind you, gnomes didn't get much better luck in 5e, did they?

I know a lot of people hated 4e's artwork, but gods, you can't seriously tell me that 5e's version is better than this, can you?

Alright, I'll admit it, the "mini-elf" look is kind of a hard sell for gnomes.

...

>I'm a dirty hobbit and she's a sexy elf so she might be "Ohh! You dirty hobbit. Take off my bodkin and my jerkin." Oh, yeah pixie ears. But that sword. What if she was a hobbit slayer? I'd just use my enchanted amulet, Yeah. Yield to me, hobbit-slayer, you will touch my magic cock.

Gods, Lidda was hot. So hot, she's the only iconic character from 3.5 to have a porn comic about her. Shame it was never finished.

>What problems do you have with them?
I just don't like Gnomes, I'd rather just use Halflings

>How would you fix them?
I just don't include Gnomes, they don't exist in my settings.

She looks like she has a cold all the time

...

We can't be out of artwork already - we haven't even touched the AD&D stuff.

Anyone got a copy of that really controversial pic from the 3e launch Halfling Special issue of Dragon Magazine? The black-clad, club-wielding halfling fighter leaning over his slain orc with its skull visibly smashed open and its brains splattered everywhere?

Link?

So I'm not a DM myself, but I was talking to mine about adding in a rival team that acts as a foil to our own that's basically a bunch of Termina counterparts. Our team had this optimistic, liberal, klepto gnome rogue and so in turn I created a pessimistic, conservative, High Dex, Deep Gnome Paladin and I've been thinking a lot how that would be a legitimentally fun character to play. We all know that deep gnomes are supposed to be thought of as the evil brand of gnomes but are really just suspicious, so I thought a pessimistic paladin who doesn't believe in the world but does his best to save it would be fun.

Google it, you lazy fuck.

as someone new to the conversation, is it /worth/ googling?

Unless that's a Dire Dire Corgi that's more likely a sprite or some kind of fey than a halfling/gnome. Still very cute, though.

...

So, morbidly curious; if you had to use either Halflings or Gnomes as your "designated shortstack race", which would you pick ad why?

I will say gnome. I have a fondness for magical type characters, and gnomes do caster better than halflings.

Halfings. Gnomes are basically quirkier elves (or dwarves in soe settings).

Halflings are generally their own thing, be it Bilbo-style comfiness, or varying degress of gypsiness/urban thieves.

I would kill myself instead of using a """"shortstack race"""".

Wow, these are the only Gnomes that actually look good.

It's not bad if you don't mind kobolds.

Halflings. Gnomes tend to be either tinkerers or fae-lite, and I don't really have setting space for either of those.

Got boots on, must be a gnome

Why is she balancing on a tightrope

I'm looking for a pic of a comely halfling woman sitting on a tree branch with an autumn-themed background. She wore a basic commoner's dress and no shoes. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

>tight pants
>ass
>thigh highs
>midriff
>sizeable chest
Uh, got any more like this, user? Asking for a friend.

That's a pretty serious case of Maisie face right there.

So, I stumbled across pic related recently - I'm positive it's an actual Pathfinder pic, but can anyone tell me what book it's from? It looks a little like something from Horror Adventures...

Fucking "where is the light coming from" Elmore and his stupid ideas of action poses.

Thief lets all the stuff she just stole spill out everywhere and she's climbing a rope to the ceiling to escape.
