Mercenaries/auxiliaries. A fair few people want a kroot codex, but I'd like to go further and get see a codex with rules for a range of "minor" races, with the codex specifying which are available to which major factions (e.g. some may be tau only, some may be available to almost everyone, or whatever).

Kroot Mercs would be awesome, but they'd have to be appealing as a unit for them to actually show up. Right now they're just standard Infantry that is slightly better than most cannon fodder at melee, but not a dedicated melee unit.

First of all, you can add the culexus to the battalion detachment in battlescribe by going to "Edit Forces", clicking on the battalion detachment, clicking "Add" and then selecting the Assassins.
But I don't see why you would want that since your entire army would lose Canticles of the Omnissiah, take that into consideration.

Plague marines have like 5 special weapon options, versatile champions, bolters, and 5 melee weapons. Plus grenades.
The squads are a blast to build both in model and in listbuilding.
Sonic terminators, as implied above, would have EC weapons or even options for full melee.
