So some idiot on some Hive-World in the 40k galaxy reads from pic related and unleashes the Deadites upon the galaxy. How far do they/It get? Assume that they can possess anything aside from the obvious ones (Chaos, Necrons).

Considering that they were defeated by a semi-retarded sales clerk with one arm I don't think they'll make it very far in the 40k universe.

The series actually confirms that Ash is the "Chosen One", and effectively has Plot Armor as a result of this. It's basically the reason why no matter how much the Deadites fuck him up, he doesn't end up possessed by them, or rendered into fleshy pulp.

Jesus fucking christ do these "SCARY THING, BUT IN FORTY KAY" threads ever stop?

We'll I mean it's pretty bog standard as far as 40k demon shit goes it'd likely start a cult around it and depending on vigilant the Arbites/Clergy/Governor and any potential inquisition agents are on the planet it's a bit in the air.

I don't think timeline-jumping cosmic horrors that can infect and damn your soul with but the slightest touch are "bog standard" in 40k. But then again, 40k is a setting that tosses in all kinds of shit at random, so who knows?
