I know this isn't /r/ but does anyone have the last update of this CYOA?

I just want to know if there is a more balanced update because there is a fucking huge gap between 5 and 7 points powers

So this is an amazing CYOA and I'm sad I haven't played it before. Making a build now. Does anyone know how long expeditions are supposed to take? My guess is 6 months, based on balancing them against job stat growth, but it doesn't say so explicitly.

Also, if OnionBreadsticks ever reads this, are the female Azrha intentionally terrible? (As in, missing most of their stat boosts).

The stats in this are handled pretty badly, unless I'm missing some chart further down. You have to go through all the races just to know which stats exist, and then you need to figure out what the abrieviations mean and what the stats do.

Nevermind, I didn't register the text blob in the middle. My point still kind stands though: Your focus is drawn to the choices and you're left wondering what the stats mean. The explanation is just kind floating in among the choices.
There should be a better seperation and formating. Icons would be ideal, but I know not everyone can just make them.

Yeah, I'm becoming less impressed and more frustrated. There are 12 "skill points" but it's absolutely impossible to use even a majority of them, since it won't even let you use the stats gained from one skill to qualify for another (I assume that's what the bolded AT THIS POINT is supposed to mean). So it's pretty much just cruel.

It's a cool system, but I'll be Satre'ing it a bit to make it enjoyable.

I've always interpreted "at this point" to mean you don't include stats you'll gain from working your job(s), completing your quest(s), or defeating any terrors. I've always assumed the stats you gain from buying one skill rank can be used to unlock other skill ranks.

Not sure if that's the intended behavior, but you're right - it seems pretty well impossible to learn any skills using only the stats you gain from your racial and residency bonuses.

For the halo, maybe add something about it never falling off your head by accident?

The numbers there need some serious rebalancing and the later job/quest/exploration have to be described more clearly.
As-is there's basicly a class system with Fighter/Mage/Thief/Crafter/Leader, but you can just fail at getting a class. Will and Casting, Stamina and Endurance and maybe even Strength and Finesse could be condensed into a single stat and you wouldn't loose much.

Guess that at least puts my mind at ease with a simple five stats. Much easier to balance when you only have to worry about 25-30 permutations of stat foci. And I'm now confident that it was right to give two/three angles to every weapon type.

I'd go socialism if the waifu was cuter, but since Technocracy is much cuter, she wins.

If you had both gloves and halo, could you essentially reverse aging (or at least the excess) for other people, or would that go past the halo's "no aging" thing (for whatever reason - the excess is essentially all damage, so it should keep the wearer at their prime, if they were there or past it already)?
