Etherium is a Generation 2 crypto with smart contracts and other future type shit in mind. It's still slow as fuck and has high fees.

Raiblocks on the other hand is a pure peer to peer currency that is even usable as a micro transaction currency.
No fees, near instant transactions.

The only true crypto currency at the moment that could be used for every day stuff.
