If World Eaters get a new release it'll be like the Death Guard and Thousand Sons ones in that it uses little to no pre existing CSM units. Unless you already have a bunch of plastic berserkers, rhinos and land raiders lying around you'd likely have to start a whole new army with a World Eaters release.

Tau player here, how good of an idea is it to run mechanized Breachers? I was thinking about building up a few squads but my only experience with them was middling because they were up against horde daemons when I was expecting CSM.

They didn't, using weapons that weren't Katanas was considered dishonorable as it showed a lack of respect to the way of the sword and did not allow a proper duel with your opponent.
Don't use them, peasants shouldn't be allowed to fight up close, that's the Samurai's job.

What are some good ideas for a name I could give my Thousand Sons thrallband? I'm giving my exalted sorcerers and stuff more bird themed accessories, possibly going to use a decent amount of Tzaangors and all that too so overall quite bird based. Also using the general color scheme.
