My dm ran an orc focused tribal campaign a while back. Was one tribe that frequently used elves as essentially breeding stock, since orc do what orc do. Resulted in that tribe being referred to as beauty orcs by the rest

Hell, as long as the male Orcs fit with how the females look, I have no issue with it. I tend to prefer my Orcs to be less like Porcs and more like WoW Orcs crossed with Humans. I actually preferred them to have tusks for a long time, but recently I've been eschewing them in favor of them just having more ape-like canine teeth in general. My Orcs now look a lot more like Orsimer from TES, and I prefer them this way because I prefer to do the Shadowrun thing in my fantasy and make Humans the precursor race, instead of the demihumans being the oldest. Of course, that also varies based on what type of game I'm running too. If Porcs would improve the feel of the setting, then that's what I'll use.

The novel Orcs has a half-orc witch that's supposed to be ultra-hot and no man can resist her charms, but I can't say I recall anything else. That book is kinda crap, by the way. So I wouldn't recommend it.

They mostly look like the pic I posted, for the Males. The females have softer features. I didn't want them to look like Neanderthals, and I didn't want them to carbon-copy other source material, but I suppose they'd be the closest to Skyrim Orsimer. I honestly don't have a problem with them looking like they do; I'm not that invested in the TES lore though so take that with a grain of salt.

I made it through the book but refused to read any of the others. It somehow manages to be bland, and at first I was starting to care about the characters but they suddenly became godlike war machines that won all the time and it just became Orcwank, and any development from the first 75 pages just stagnated into drivel. I rarely quit books completely though; I am kinda disgusted with how GoT shaped up but I am still going to finish it if it ever finishes.

I can't help you with the recommendations; I don't read as much as I used to. If my friends weren't all at work I could ask around for you; I know a lot of avid readers.

The Drizz't books are schlock, but the early ones are tolerable enough.

You don't know what you're talking about. Tolkien confirmed orcs breed in the manner of the Children of Ilúvatar and that they hated their various masters almost as much as they feared them - hardly true loyalty.

In my games orcs are basically klingons. Real big on honor and strength. They're generally nomadic hunters, but some permanent settlements exist. They are, for the most part, happy to be left the fuck alone, but they tend to have bad reputations among "civilized" races because they also tend to be loud, boistrous, and all too happy to flaunt their strength.
