What are some fantasy movies you enjoy watching that give some sort of inspiration to your table top gaming? What do you recommend? I'll start with my favorite.
Hard mode: non-American movies. I'm curious what other parts of the world like.

It's kind of grade B (like virtually all fantasy movies were), but good grade B.
Also makes for a great MST3K episode.

Outlaw of Gor is also a pretty good MST3k sword & sorcery episode.
The SyFy channel sequel is actually pretty decent, Wrath of the Dragon God.

It's pretty much one. It only subverts the sorcery stuff.

The list fails with the first entry.
Your shit taste has been noted and disregarded.
Ya'll need Yor up in here.
And Krull for some Liam Neeson goodness.
You honestly cannot beat anything featuring 90s Kevin Sorbo in this regard.
Dude was the god of schlocky swords and sorcery before he got pretentiously religious.
>Liam Neeson goodness.
But he's on screen for like, ten minutes total.
Still a fucking fantastic movie though. I do like the rumor that it was supposed to be a Dungeons and Dragons movie originally, because it sure reminds me of some of my campaigns.
>But he's on screen for like, ten minutes total.
The world had to be eased into Neeson less we be struck blind and had our tongues burned out by hot coals.
It wasn't until Darkman that we could take the full Neeson and even then he was stuck behind a latex mask of Larry Drake fo portions of the movie to shield us.
Another where we get bit a glimpse of the Neeson.
But fully get the glory of Helen Mirren's tits.
Deathstalker 1 with Barbi Benton is awesome
Deathstalker 1, 3 and 4:What you hope your edgy campaign will be.
Deathstalker 2: What your edgy campaign turns into 30 seconds after the players show up.

Chris Tucker's character is really shitty. He reminds me of an annoying DMPC.
Looks like Grandpa Tekken
I blame that movie for my taste in evil witches wearing metal lingerie and mesh robes.
