I'm soon to be running a campaign set in a fantasy equivalent of the Byzantine Empire. I have a shitload of Roman art, and ancient Greek art, but basically nothing Byzantine. Was wondering if any of you elegen/tg/entlemen could help me out.

Also, I suppose, if you know of any good splatbooks or stuff pertaining to it. I understand Mythras has one due soon?

Hopeful bump.

I thought the pic you used in this thread/ your last thread was really cool but I never bumped it.

So have a bump.

Cataphract

That's art by Byzantines, not art OF Byzantines by modern artists like we tend to have in these sorts of threads. Happy to help.

GURPS Constantinople. Not very long but crammed full of good stuff.

Also check out Osprey books over at /hwg/. Historical accuracy is very hit and miss but the pictures are pretty/hilarious and work well as inspiration for fantasy.

Thanks, I'll look into it.

Poorfag, here, got a link?

This might help. I took a 3 volume history by John Julius Norwich and turned it into a set of useful tables.
