Their "desaturation" attack saps the same percentage of your HP as you have color in your equipment/clothes/inventory. Monochrome characters are least affected. They never go anywhere without each other, have huge bonuses to stealth, and use lassos and gang tactics to bring down adventurers.

It wouldn't work for every kind of campaign, but I can The Shocking Miss Emerald being a fantastic villain for a classic Spy thriller, perhaps as a femme-fatale instigator of the various crimes that the party has to deal with. I'm thinking her end-goal is an insane revenge plot against the spy agencies of the world for the death of her lover, a now-dead megalomaniac who the players fought in a previous adventure.
