At what point should I start collecting a second faction?
Gabriel Hernandez
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.
Christopher Ross
Patricians?
Nicholas Campbell
I'm still growing the first tree. Should I wait until it bears fruit before growing another?
Carter Rivera
When you have every model they made for your first. That's what I did - I had everything for Onyx, so branched into USAriadna.
David Sanders
Corpses
Zachary Powell
Is there anyone more full of shit than an Asawira?
Aiden Jackson
>BTS 9
I think it's ok, they can handle a lot of shit.
Hunter Moore
tossing my salad.
Luis Mitchell
I always figured them for scat men
Luis Diaz
(You)
Anthony Moore
>I am collecting vanilla and not a sectorial >that's going to be a lot of models those artichoke drop-medics look so cool, but I guess they will have to wait
Joshua Ramirez
:*
Charles Foster
Welp, Tohaa don't have *that* many models...
Aaron Lee
When you feel satisfied with the first. You don't need to get everything, but if you're happy with what you have currently then that's the time to start another
Anthony Barnes
So Haqqislam military doctrine is to use ghulams as a hammer and their other regional units as an anvil. Why would anyone use non-mechanized unarmored Infantry as the hammer in an anvil and hammer attack. Are the Haqqislamites retarded? They could at least issue them helmets.
Justin Rivera
Yes. I think they forgot which one was meant to be the hammer and which one was the anvil.
Ian King
because calling it a "cheerleader and quarterback" doctrine doesn't sound as good
Isaac Gonzalez
I know what a cheerleader in infinity is, but what the hell is quarterback? a TAG with 4 weapons? unit with 4 special skills ?
Samuel Barnes
I'm confused as to why they lost core linkability yet are still AVA4 in HB. Shit 'aint logical.
Luis James
Because everyone else is using their shitty infantry.
Ghulams are the top of the food chain. Combine that with godlike doctors and they will wear the enemy down, forcing them to retreat and run into the units with horrifying killing power.
Sebastian Thomas
Hsian Hac Tao Swiss Guard TAG
James Long
4 of them is plenty horrifying w/o the link. Stick a Ghulam core in there and you have 5 major threats on the board with points to spare and plenty of orders.
Nolan Fisher
4 of them is plenty horrifying w/o the link. Stick a Ghulam core in there and you have 5 major threats on the board with points to spare and plenty of orders.
Leo Brooks
That would make a lot more sense, but that isn't what is described. Anvil is supposed to be the main force that holds ground and takes hits (which large numbers of infantry in buildings can do rather well) while the hammer flanks around the side to dish out lots of damage. Ghulams are stated to be the hammer with smaller elite forces acting as the anvil, which is stupid and wouldn't work well at all. Methinks someone at CB got the two terms mixed up.
Caleb Jackson
beating in objective based missions.
Whenever you want. There's no morality to this, but I'd say wait until you've got an ok 300 points with one.
Yuan Yuan
It's when your spend a quarter (75) or more of your points (300) only for them to die spectacularly leaving you wanting your quarter back.
Hence, units like
Achilles, Asuras, etc.
>someone at CB got the two terms mixed up. Probably. Language is hard, yo.
Christian Campbell
Thx man, I actually googled it but it was some american football thing, not knowing what that is, I struggled to imagine what could it be in infinity. Now I know that quarterbacker is what we call a fat jew in table tops. Doesn't it seem to be the other way around. A hammer is small and handy and you can use it to block and parry, while an anvil only use is offensive. You throw it, it smashs.
Isaiah Butler
Hammer and anvil refers to a specific tactic. The 'anvil' works as a large defensive group that engages the enemy force and keeps it occupied, while the 'hammer' is a faster and more mobile force that flanks from the other side to fuck shit up.
It's meant to evoke the image of a piece of metal being worked on an anvil. You use the anvil (larger, slower force) as a base to rest the metal, and use the hammer (smaller, faster force) to strike it from the other side.
Nolan Flores
Sphinx resculpt? Is Sphinx a good TAG?
Henry Myers
>Sphinx resculpt? No he's perfect
>Is Sphinx a good TAG? Yes. TO camo is the best
Joseph Wright
Confirmed for no resculpt in near future. Yes it is a good TAG, very mobile and really nasty when used well.
Asher James
He's pulling your leg. The other guy meant quarterback in the American Football meaning, i.e. the guy that does the things on the field (as opposed to cheerleaders, who do nothing). Also, "fat jew"? Personally I just use killer piece, Rambo or order hog.
Jeremiah Stewart
Bit&KISS got a lethal update.
Kevin Sanders
bois
Jace Wright
>EI KHD >submachine gun >pitcher and deployable repeaters >cool CA outfit >sepsitorization was kept at least somewhat ambiguous
Easton Reed
Wonder how they would have looked in other factions.
Nolan Long
What IS the Fluff behind Bit and Kiss? I never really looked into them.
Christian Martin
Hacktivists who want to take down The Man nonviolently by telling everyone things they already know. Real good at hacking but also massive fuckups with no common sense, so they got captured by PanO.
Lincoln Ward
> Real good at hacking but also massive fuckups with no common sense
Right, now I understand why they ended up in CA. I really should look over those guys who could have ended up in any faction, have been too busy with uni to play for a few months.
Do almost wish they'd ended up in ALEPH or PanO just for the humour of them then being 'The Man' faction-wise.
Charles Allen
>>sepsitorization was kept at least somewhat ambiguous How does one even go about voluntarily joining the CA as a human?
Jace Perez
>march towards Zulupoint >hope you get capturd by some EI troop and not brutalized by Morats or Umbras
Colton Stewart
The CA has some great guys with leaflets outside of unis to catch all the disaffected youthful hackers.
Adam Williams
What's this?
Bentley Brooks
You get captured, either because your home got taken over by CA or because they sought you out (as was the case with Bit). Just don't be wearing military gear while you do it, Morats don't take well to that.
Jacob Price
Kinda sad we didn't get Sir Switch for MO, but CA waited for a KH for so long, ain't even mad. Surprising to see a SMG on her though. Weren't they pacifist hacker kiddies?
Jacob Rivera
Well, she wouldn't have a KHD if she was a pacifist still either.
Who did end up in which faction?
Anthony Kelly
Only one was meant to enter any faction iirc. So, the rest will fade into oblivion I guess.
Cooper Perry
I suppose you could also try to contact an element of the Hegemony yourself, but it would be difficult and could end very badly if your fellow humans found out or you poked the wrong part of CA.
>Weren't they pacifist hacker kiddies? Bit is either sepsitorized or got exposed to some high tier state atrocities, so she's probably bitter enough to kill someone at this point.
>Who did end up in which faction? Other two are dead as shit. Switch is finally in the garbage where he always should have been.
Luis Wright
>random Switch hate Nomads...
Benjamin Perez
>random Switch was always a piece of shit, I've hated on him since the very beginning. Giving almost every faction in the game (particularly ones built around being bad at hacking like Ariadna and Tohaa) a killer hacker that could disguise himself as any S2 unit was an abortion of an idea and I'm very glad he's gone forever.
Sebastian Flores
>How does one even go about voluntarily joining the CA as a human? You first need to be identified as valuable to their psyops and then, once you've proven your usefulness, they bust you out of whatever maximum security facility you're hidden in. The Speculos are everywhere, gathering intelligence. Who knows, perhaps the user you reply to is a Speculo assessing your worth to the great quest to bring unity and enlightenment to the galaxy?
Oliver Hughes
>got exposed to some high tier state atrocities The ALIVE group got captured by the Hexahedron and she's the only one that got through the ordeal alive. She's seen some shit and shit accessories, I'm positive Hexa pimpslaps were the least of her worries while she was being held up in some PanO Gitmo tier blacksite. I doubt she'd need to be sepsitorized in order to agree to bring the fuckers down.
All they ever wanted was the truth. Well, they got it in spades.
Jace Hernandez
>EI KHD, 6 BTS, Expel >repeaters, repeaters everywhere >synchro ADHL bot... with yet another repeater >19 pts, 0.5 SWC Yeah I'll get to work on the spare Unidron now.
Where can I get the other REM variants? Do they sell only the E and T?
Leo Walker
No, the box has bits for all the variants. So if you want a Q+M combo you can build them.
Jack Taylor
Those are just the example ones they made to take pictures of. The box comes with parts to make any combination of Drones (though you can't double up on any except R Drones)
Connor Watson
Yep, called it.
Jaxon Scott
Alright Veeky Forums, I decided to pick some of these up. Can I get away with doing Clipper as something else?
Mostly because WIP 12 is shit and unreliable for FOs and hackers.
Daniel Stewart
Nomads a shit. I only play the biggest and greediest factions around, degenerate rebel mongrels need to leave. PanO, YJ and CA all day eryday.
See and It applies to all the standard S3 remotes of all factions.
Jason King
>implying you've got anything to say in that matter Don't worry, they'll arrive on their own.
Ian Martin
>How does one even go about voluntarily joining the CA as a human?
Oznat waifu.
Isaac Ross
Oh ok thank you, I was unsure because in the description of the box they talk specifically about the E and T variants. Thank you!
Carter Reed
Well, that is good to hear now.
Thomas Morgan
Check the side of the box, it should have a picture of which bits go on which variants.
Jose Flores
Top tier OP
Caleb Stewart
While I absolutely love how dark their storyline got, I worry that B&K are as autoinclude as Ghazi or Posthumans.
19 points is crazy cheap.
Justin Moore
It's not that special outside KHD and repeater game. Very fragile and only a short range gun.
Jaxon Brown
Not quite as autoinclude as those two. Probably 'merely' Davanas tier. Which is to be 'mostly'-include.
Parker Hernandez
Yeah she's cheap, but she's dedicated support with a significant weakness.
Luke Stewart
She's good, but nowhere near that good. And she's only going to become less special as more CA units get KHDs like Zerats, r-right?
Benjamin Ward
>Zerat >buff
Isaiah White
Are Panoceanians the most blue pilled normie faction ever made?
Parker Wright
Blue is the colour of the good guys!
Samuel Bell
Yes, except for the erections.
Jacob Watson
Pretty much. Easy meat for the EI. The ironic thing is, they'd integrate pretty seamlessly.
Evan Green
They are a niche unit. They are very good at taking down hackers, but with no defensive skills and a short ranged gun I don't see them being very useful. Low BS and no armor means that if either one of them is even looked at by a LI with a Rifle they will go down like paper.
Bentley Cook
They have Cybermask.
Jayden Perry
Where is this from? >tfw you'll never have a comfy corporate job on Neoterra
Samuel Ross
Glorious
Anthony Evans
Baseless paranoia. I have a friend in the IS and he says Speculo aren't even real. They are Pan Oceana propaganda to make other nations waste resources and go after law-abiding citizens.
Easton Taylor
we use rambo too. fat jew is rambo, cheerleader or support that cost an arm and an leg. 70pts or more is a fat jew.
Ian Cooper
>I'm positive Hexa pimpslaps were the least of her worries
Or that is what she experienced, day in and day out...
Josiah Perry
>Morat Supremacy show up to bust out Bit&Kiss >Bit sees Oznat waifu rip out a guard's heart and eat it >falls in love
Luis Gray
PanO has probably a Guantanamo station somewhere in deep space. I hope they'll expand more this cuntish side of the Hyperpower
Justin Perez
Pssssh, Ghazi aren't auto-include.
fucking Ghazi....
Bentley Garcia
The RPG
Liam Sullivan
Would a PanO on a Nomad ship be able to access Maya?
Or would an Interventor go maximum [autistic screeching] ?
Samuel Barnes
See, this is why Glorious Yu Jing is better. They believe in human rights and definitely have no blacksite prisons.
Luis Watson
>tfw like the looks of some Ghazi >can't field them without feeling like waac cheesemonger
Carter Richardson
>I too like the look and fluff of Ghazi Muttawi'ah. >Chain Rifle holding one is one of my favorites in particular (followed by the lady with a scarf). >Field them anyways
Jace Collins
We each have to face our demons some way, I guess. I hope you pray for your soul every night, though.
Charles Mitchell
Yeah, where did those protesters go? I guess they just disappeared. Move on, citizen
Mason Taylor
I usually lose anyways ...
At least I know my rules, but I am not too good of a player.
Was that a shimmer I saw in the corner of my eye? Probably just gonna start raining soon. It's not like ninjas exist.
Luke Scott
Why the fuck is CB so lazy/incompetent? They say in their ITS rules that Bit & KISS! can be run in any of the CA armies, yet in the army program it's only Onyx and Vanilla. Which one is wrong? We'll probably never know, because those Spanish fucks are too lazy to actually stand behind their product.
Lincoln Roberts
Blunt instruments.
Lincoln Jackson
Can Bit use Cybermask and keep Kiss?
Robert Gray
Yup. In fact, due to how it works, KISS! cybermasks when Bit does.
