I found this

I found this.

Makes sense.

Women have always been a minority in the Wargaming community, but before TSR it was 100% grognard. Once it merged with a more general sci-fi/fantasy fandom in the 70s and 80s, you got some more variety involved.

My wife has no desire to play a tactical game. She's all story + ERP. I can't stand it.

>ERP
Erotic Role Playing?

....
You are a lucky man

gamerwives are the second to last people I want to hear attempting to sound erotic

grogs being the first

>lucky man
She's undoubtedly fat, my dude.

Grogs....... Grots who make grog?

......and?

You have to be eighteen to post here, brocephus.

I can see why you think that, but in my experience younger men are the ones who don't want to bang fattys.

Seriously, its like the older a man gets the more he just wants a soft curvy women he can seriously go to town on without worrying about breakin something. Teenagers are weird mang.

Oh I like everything

Orcs, elves, halfling
...
...kender

A broad taste is a healthy taste

So like,

Is this saying that the patriarchy is blocking people from roleplaying games

Or is it saying that women can't play games because they don't have enough imagination.

I don't know how to feel.

It's more like your standards go down the drain as you get older and your options diminish. A by product of also being some grog with either no chin or too many chins.
Obese =/= curvy
Stop with this awful american sour grapes nonsense because you're emotionally rattled that most of your women are obese.

What? No.
The message is literally right there. Women just haven't (or hadn't, as is the case now) heard of D&D, and therefore couldn't have been playing it. I don't know where you pulled the sexism from.

>your options diminish
You go one thinking that, son.
It's saying that women do not play pnp games because they haven't been introduced to them.
A fair number of the women I have shown pnp games play them themselves, now, with the same variance in quality as the guys I deal with.

Are you claiming to be a teenager?

I'm more of a fluff-focused player, but I do appreciate a bit of tactics (if they're engaging).

That makes sense

It's actually a blessing.

They are better off playing risus or gurps or m&m3e anyways.

Try reading
>The answer is easy - Most of them haven't heard about the fantasy game [...]

Wouldn't you like to know

Got the full ad for anyone who was interested.

I think its just saying that women don't play wargames because nobody targets wargame ads at women.

neat, thanks!

Nice find.
