It was a shitty world, then, because Cadians break all the time.
Brody Murphy
gork>mork
Jason Ward
I didn't got the memo, how does having forge world models make you an nazi ? as a filthy commie from france i feel insulted
Matthew Hill
Remember kids. CSM > Guard.
Dylan Foster
It's a meme from a few weeks ago. Someone's LGS banned Forge World in a Tournament, the thread dissolved into people arguing over FW being WAAC and/or shitposting about FW Doors being WAAC and eventually people were called Holocaust Deniers.
Nathaniel Ross
Explain?
Juan Thomas
Reeces Pieces claims
Matthew Martin
Fuck your shitty misinformed HFY memes, fuck you and fuck Guardfags too.
His name is Venerate ennit? You know, "Venerate the Immortal Emperor" and all that.
John Russell
Chaos soup is winning tourneys
Parker Harris
>Chaos soup Which is a funny way of saying Malefic Lord Supreme Command allies to otherwise vanilla CSM lists.
Brody Ross
Fun Fact, the Single Slash for Cavalry units comes from the fact that cavalry only wore a sword-belt and no bandolier.
Julian Baker
The final outcome is that using anything made by forgeworld, regardless what it is makes you at best a nazi, and probably an Esoteric Hitlerist.
John Wood
That is fucking insane. On average a Cadian Officer with the Laurels and 4 Orders (2 from Senior Officer, 1 from Kell and 1 from the Strategem) will get an AVERAGE of 15 orders
I'm pretty sure that initial post was a meme, unless the lgs banned it because you couldn't buy it there.
Ian Torres
Especially the WAAC doors.
It wasn't the LGS themselves, just a WAACfag who was hosting the campaign.
Leo Adams
Ah, so there are still people who want to believe in forge world being WAAC ? Tell that to my poor fellblade. 200pts above a baneblade for worse firepower
Isaac Lopez
Start collecting Guard or you might as well quit! Oh, what's that? You picked a different army? Well get fucked! This is Nu-GW.
Jordan Green
Reece actually likes IG. In fact, he was talking about how much he loves his Catachans. Hm... Reece dances to Cruddace's tune, and is fine with IG buffs
We need Phil, now more than ever
Brandon Lee
...
Connor Long
Reece hates Cruddace. There's literally video of him talking about how the 6th nid Codex was total shit and whoever wrote it was a fucking idiot. He loves nids. And the new IG Codex wasn't written by Crud.
Nolan Wilson
First for "When the Necron codex comes out we will be so OP we will make IG look like index necrons"
David Moore
>Thumbnail mixup I always wonder what board and thread the other thumbnail went to...
Mason Walker
All of 8th edition rules are written by the Crud-man. He is the lead designer now.
Alexander Harris
It's currently lost in the immaterium with Leman Russ
Ryan Garcia
>be Falchion >have double-barreled volcano cannon >get shown up by inferior Guard tank that has nearly the same shots with its single-barreled gun that is much more reliable and less swingy >still cost 175% as much as said tank >can't be spammed because of the relic rule while said tank can be taken in a detachment of 3 in a 2k list while still leaving points left over for the rest of an army and support Is this, dare I say it, the most playtested edition ever?!
Hudson Perez
No he's not you idiot, the lead designer is Peter Foley, and the IG Codex was James Gallagher. Where do you people get these bullshit rumours from?
Bentley Jones
What is the little tank? Also, the stupidest thing about Relic Super-heavies is you need 1 Non-Relic for every Relic RAW but 2 in practice due to how the Detachments work.
Ethan Cox
>Ork player tries to work out ways to make Ork shooting lists work.jpg
Aaron Ortiz
Hows this for a 2k list?
Space Wolves 1997/2000 Vanguard/SpearHead Detachments
Vanguard -892pts HQ - 257pts Bjorn the Fellhanded: Plasma Cannon, trueclaw w/ heavy flamer
Troops - 222pts x15 Bloodclaws: power fist, plasma pistol
Heavy Support - 798pts Long Fangs: x2 las, x2 missile Land Raider Crusader: Multi-melta Relic Leviathan Dreadnought: Grav Bombard, Storm Cannon Array
Gavin Howard
Also Necron player trying to make any list work.jpg on the side
Robert Moore
It's garbage. Add Celestine and some Conscript squads, then we'll talk.
Landon Clark
>implying the holocaust happened
Matthew Walker
Guard player looks like every other Guard player when they're told their new codex isn't fun to play against.
Carson Wood
Also an imperial knight And a couple of Leman Russ And conscripts
Dominic Johnson
It's the Shadowsword. >Shadowsword volcano cannon Heavy 3d3 S16 AP-5 D2d6 reroll wounds vs TITANIC >BS4 vs TITANIC as well as move and shoot >access to amazing regimental doctrines if taken in a superheavy detachment >404 points barebones
>Falchion TWIN volcano cannon Heavy 2d6 S16 AP-5 D2d6 reroll wounds vs TITANIC >BS4 and move and shoot >no CTs except maybe Iron Hands' shitty 6+++ >cannot be spammed, essentially max 1 per army >fucking 817 points base, you can take two fucking Shadowswords for one of these things
I mean sure it has some fucking lascannons but who fucking cares when it's outnumbered two to one?
Wyatt Walker
dipshits like you are why we never can discuss army lists anymore
that looks like it could be good if you're going up against a lot of armor but if you're fighting blob infantry you might have a problem
Juan Hill
What kind of car and paintjob color scheme is best for each god?
Henry Kelly
WTF? Why isn't the Fachion's one 6d3?
Camden Collins
Eldar wondering what to do with scatbikes now
Camden Martinez
When the index was drafted, the Shadowsword's cannon was heavy d6. This didn't oneshot literally every target in the game so it was changed. It's Eldar D-cannons all over again. >tfw realizing I quoted their BS as 4 when I meant to say they hit on 3+ I'm stuck in 7th and can't wake up boys.
Joseph Nelson
Requesting a specific piece of art.
It had two Ultramarines overlooking an Ultramarine fortress. If I recall, it was from the Gathering Storm 3 and it was beautiful.
Joseph Hernandez
One of the things that struck me as just being really bad was the Wraithseer. It's the most pathetic psyker ever.
Mason Foster
Welcome to 8th edition. This is an actual, sound list advice now that is based on potency of the rules and if you don't like how the rules are written you can direct your complaints to GW.
Charles Martinez
...
Carson Gutierrez
Thanks
Jason Flores
Does ultramar produce guard regiments?
Ayden Jones
Almost done with these Pig Iron miniatures I intend to use as conscripts.
Whadayathink?
Jackson Foster
I think it has a PDF which it deploys in the same way as the Guard.
Alexander Miller
>use as conscripts >Whadayathink? Kill yourself, my man
Charles Perry
Lootas, big guns and grot tanks are all cheap and can throw out a massive amount of fire. Shoota boys are still a good choice too
Landon Sullivan
8th edition basically
Brandon White
>And that, brother, is why OSHA guidelines are the foulest heresy that exists today. >The Emperor Protects, brother. >Correct, not guardrails or safety harnesses.
Samuel Barnes
They look pretty good so far, i'd hit them with like a nuln wash or something though to darken up the fabric a little more. I mean they're conscripts they don't get nice-ish looking shit. Then again i'm a sucker for grimy looking mini's, went rather dark with my death guard.
Jonathan Davis
At least the Balcony they're on has a guardrail.
Evan Sanchez
That looks more like a CWEldar than a DEldar.
Michael Ramirez
kek
Nicholas Lewis
Kannons are the only Big Gun worth taking and even then, it's only because you can't take more Boyz beyond a certain point because you'll never finish a game. But you'd never prioritise taking Kannons over taking Boyz; Kannons are simply the most effective way of using up left-over points once you've done spamming your bodies.
Lootas are just bad though. Takes 60 shots to down a Rhino (20 hit, 10 wound, 5 saved, 10 dmg done) and they get utterly shredded by anything that glances at them because 8th ed massively nerfed cover for Orks. You can stick them in a transport but that just pushes their cost even higher.
Grayson Rivera
Needs a WAAC quote for the Guardsman >leafblower wasn't THAT bad, get over it faggot but otherwise perfect. Nice touch with the Necron
Lincoln Butler
shes on the fatal path of anal circumference
Juan Parker
Does the difference matter?
What's the Necron saying?
Christian Allen
>commissars are balanced >I wish I was a catachan
Charles Thompson
I don't actually play Eldar I don't know what this is referencing. Yea, Craftworld try not to be weird degenerates because they're scared of Slaanesh. Dark try to be weird degenerates because they're scared of Slaanesh.
Jason Williams
>What's the Necron saying? He's reading his index, reflecting on the finely-balanced changes affected to his army by the coming of 8th edition and ruminating on how he can build a competitive list with them.
Joshua Hughes
You have 876 jetbikes in your shelf from 7th edition, might as well do something with them.
Blake Mitchell
a slaanesh fag not familiar with fatal?
Brayden Torres
Same place they get their tactics and stories about their LGS.
Henry Brown
I do like these drawings. Cute artstyle. Wish they'd turn that into a monthly comic of sorts. Representatives of each army, bickering with each other while playing their own or other armies, painting and soem tongue-in-cheek discussions about rules and lore.
Farseer-chan > No no Gutznog, you can't just field striking scorpions. An eldar army is a graceful balance between close and long-ranged combat. You have to be ready for every possible encounter!
Gutznog > But deez gitz be choppy 'n' shooty. See diz chart? Shootin' choppy while choppin' an' shootin' and also sneaky like. Sneaky shooty choppas who chop shooties and shoot choppas an-
Dylan Lee
Even Slaaneshfags have standards my dude.
Oliver Baker
We are fucked
Brayden Ross
I can respect that, I think. The connection didn't click in my head because I thought it had something to do with Eldar martial philosophy and didn't even think of other games. unfortunately I've never played Fatal, I can't convince anyone to play it I don't even think I'd like it I've heard it's terrible and not just for the weird sexual reasons like just a bad game but I would try it once
Jose King
The proportions on this guy What the fuck
Mason Baker
You must be a "perfection" new slaanesh fag. Old slaanesh is a race to the most degeneracy possible while hopefully not dying.
Yeah its just the >roll for anal circumference joke. No one actually plays fatal. I've read of people trying but it's complete shit as a game.
Wyatt Hernandez
The answer is yes, but the DE Reavers are much more enjoyable with all the spikey bits.
Kayden Jackson
He's very heavily mutated. He (or someone similarly mutated) is in a couple of my pictures, I'm honestly not sure why. In my defence I haven't thought about Fatal in months. I heard it's shit, too shit to actually play unfortunately, sounds hilarious.
Logan Hernandez
...
Leo Sullivan
What exactly has/is happening to his head and face?
On the roll of a 7, I'll get some Nurgle Daemons for my DG army.
Jaxson Peterson
NURGLE HAS SPOKEN
Brayden Bell
tfw this model is amazing but he's garbage
Jace Perez
Does anyone know if there are battlezones for terrain types? I'm going to need some. Stuff like fighting underwater, in vacuum, etc.
Carson Jones
There's that one for planetary bombardment, but otherwise no.
Jeremiah Hughes
?
He's good imo.
Can give some command points and is amazing for any melee component of your army.
Mason Fisher
Guess I'm making some myself.
Jaxson King
Forgefiend or Maulerfiend?
Jonathan Johnson
can I use stratagems on auxiliary support or auxiliary super heavy detachment units because a vostroyan baneblade would be broken by itself without having to mess with the detachments for the catachan doctrine
Grayson Barnes
Razorwing flock spam or drone spam? What's easier and more effective?
Ayden Young
Yes. Why wouldn't you be able to?
John Clark
alright fuck it i'll get it
i'm not that much of a waacfag anyway
Bentley Parker
My flatmate did it again.
We played a 750 point game, my new Skitarii vs his Tyranids. He didn't pick any models over 200 points this time so it's a start.
He chose: >~40 genestealers >broodlord >20 hormagaunts >3 rippers
Why is he so bad at picking armies to suit the battle. Last time we had a 750 point battle he brought a tyrannofex. We had a 500 point battle where he had a good combo of: >warriors >tyranid prime >hormagaunts >termagaunts But the first thing he did was split them up out of synapse range.
He has over 2000 points of tyranids but can't figure things out. He used to beat my Eldar before we hit the 1000 point mark, but now I routinely stomp him (7 wins in a row maybe).
I don't use any special tactics, just a gunline with a bait unit. How can I help him improve?
Michael Thompson
Yes, but you can't cross regiments. Can't use a Catachan stratagem on a Vostroyan model, even if you have Catachans somewhere on the table
