Does it still count as ERP if sex and sexuality are common themes of the campaign, yet all of the actual sex is fade-to-black?

If you have to ask...

Are you doing it to get off? It's ERP.

Are you doing it because sex is a common ingredient in most stories that aren't told by neckbeards hanging out in a basement? It's not ERP.

>Does it still count as erotic roleplaying if we aren't roleplaying anything erotic?

I don't think so. I've been running a campaign like this for the last six months and haven't had any issues.

It's important to have players who aren't going to get all pervy and make it weird tho. I couldn't have run this campaign a couple years ago when I had a group of much hornier and less mature players.

The subject matter of the campaign is inherently erotic, so...

It depends, if the sexual aspects are the goal, it's ERP

If someones getting off too it, it's ERP

If the sexual parts are just an element of the game in the same way combat or intrigue could be, it can easily wander into magical realm but isn't really ERP

If I get off to big muscular men doing big muscular manly things, and my character is a big muscular man, is that magical realming if my character isn't meant to be bait for my fetish?

>Does it still count as ERP if sex and sexuality are common themes of the campaign, yet all of the actual sex is fade-to-black?
Nope. ERP is playing out sex. If it's not played out, it's not ERP.

There are plenty of sexual themes in fantasy RPGs, because 'save the princess' has been the ultimate fantasy of getting the banging hot chick since forever.

>EroRPG with your fellow neckbeards.

Yuck!

>>EroRPG with your fellow neckbeards.

>if sex and sexuality are common themes of the campaign
We live in degenerate times, so such a campaign would probably resemble real life. No, it's not Magical Realm.

>Not running an erotic 1-on-1 campaign with a girl
I pity you scrubs.

I have given up notions of "is it magical realm or not".
I have replaced the question with "could I find this perversion in a blasted cybercorporate criminal hellscape?"

The answer has pretty much universally been yes, so it pretty much universally fit the setting and was horrifying.

sexuality is ok
degeneracy is not

Isn't the guy on the right a gay pornstar?

>If someones getting off too it, it's ERP

Rule 34. Someone IS getting off to it. Ergo, every RP session is an ERP session.

Q. ARE YOU DOING IT TO GET YOUR ROCKS OFF

>Y
IT'S ERP

>N
IT'S PROBABLY NOT ERP

As long as you're having fun, why do you care?

>Not running an erotic 1-on-1 campaign with a guy
>right after you were both in a non-ERP session together, with the same characters

Second post best post

good thing you bumped this trash thread that was solved 20 posts ago then.

cry harder faggot

do your stats or equipment change from the sex

Is that sexy Belle from Beauty and the Beast?

Is there a series of these?

It's probably magical realm, but it's not ERP.

>degeneracy is not
Define degeneracy. This can mean anything from having impure thoughts to sex outside missionary position for the purpose of procreation, depending on how autistic you are.

If it is erotic, then it is ERP. What did you think the E in "ERP" stood for? It's certainly not "extreme".

Of course not, you use X for spelling Xtreme!

Hey newfag/lazyfag, use the image search function built into Veeky Forums or even google it yourself.

>using the word 'degeneracy' outside of niche scientific/technical concepts
>expecting anyone to take you seriously

>sex and sexuality are common themes of the campaign
Why are you asking when you already answered?

Stop being pedantic.

Rule34 doesn't apply to every individual session. Yes, someone is jacking off to humans and elves. That doesn't mean a standard generic dungeon crawl is an ERP. If your elves are constantly described as barefoot, or your humans are always described as big-titted whores, then you're injecting your magical realm and it's an ERP.

If by that you mean the players and/or characters are encountering sexual content in your campaign then yes. If you mean sexual content is implied like mentioning a gluttonous hedon NPC who is known to throw godless events like feasts and orgies, but the orgies are never given more detail than this, then no it isn't an ERP.

If you are aroused while writing this questionable story, there is a 99% chance it's an ERP. Why let that stop you, though. There are tons of players looking for an ERP. Just stop making these threads and embrace it you knob goblin.

>Isn't the guy on the right a gay pornstar?
....no.
M-O-O-N. That spells gay pornstar.

I don't think they expect you to take them seriously - they expect you to reply.
