Primarch Power Rankings and Archetype Thread

Some of the more reasonable lists I've seen lately. Discuss.

Primarch power rankings in terms of personal fighting ability.

Tier 1: Sanguinius, Angron, Horus
Tier 2: Lion, Russ, Fulgrim
Tier 3: Curze, Khan, Gulliman
Tier 4: Dorn, Perturabo, Ferrus
Tier 5: Vulkan, Mortarion, Corax
Tier 6: Magnus, Alpharius, Lorgar

Opposites:

Lion: Outright talent and skill, introverted.
Horus: Outright talent and skill, extroverted.

Fulgrim: Perfection and strength through embracing their humanity.
Ferrus: Perfection and strength through eschewing their humanity.

Perturabo: Genius yet passionate command of siege craft and fortifications.
Dorn: Genius yet dispassionate command of fortifications and void combat.

Khan: Bold, boisterous, what you see is what you get. A loner. Open minded.
Alpharius: Cautious, contemplative, insular. A loner. Open minded.

Russ: Strength through instinct, talent, and impetuousness.
Magnus: Strength through knowledge, skill, and prudence.

Curze: The punisher of worlds. The terrorist. Uses massacre to achieve goals.
Corax: the liberator of worlds. The freedom fighter. Avoids massacre to achieve goals.

Sanguinius: Restrained outright martial prowess.
Angron: Unbridled outright martial prowess.

Gulliman: Leadership and success by example, doctrine, and reason. The debator.
Lorgar: Leadership and success by faith, ideology, and emotion. The orator.

Mortarion: Toughness through self sufficiency, practicality, personal responsibility, and indoctrination.
Vulkan: toughness through self sufficiency, practicality, personal responsibility, and understanding.

We should have a max gear and naked power level rank.

Let's be real, the khan is the strongest with his jet bike. And alpharius is never without his thousand alpha legionnaires.

The naked fight would be completely different.

Either or. What are your thoughts? That's the point of the thread.

Geared I already said khan, no power armor can block a power spear propelled by jet bike.

With prep time alpharius always wins.

Naked it's either Magnus due to magic power bull crap, or Angron because of strength.

Khan's alright but we don't have enough on him to say that.

Or we could do a standard kit. Power sword + arm mounted storm bolster + custodies armor

Horus, Dorn, Perturabo

Dumbest:
Russ, Angron, Curze

Smartness is less knowing how to build things and more tactics and being an adult. Dorn and Pert just have engineering knowledge.

You know, the tragic thing is he warned his sons against acting solely on instinct. Unfortunately, like most people he sucks at taking his own advice. For someone who's surprisingly smart, he just doesn't use it as much as he should.

I'm not looking forward to Lion El' Jonson's rules once Forge World finally releases his miniature. I predict WS8 at best and low-ish attacks. GW have always had something against making Dark Angels characters good in melee.

If you're a good engineer then you're smart. You can't build the things that Perturabo and Dorn built without being a mathematical genius
