This is Haram. You make a mockery of a noble warior of Allah's people. You are worse than a Yu Jing emperor's dog. You are- and may the Sultan forgive me for using this word - a Druze.
Jaxson Cook
I swear to Allah, I shall kill those that offend ahl bunssed
Zachary Hughes
Why are Druze getting new models? They look cool already and there's a lot of shitty models on the range that need an update more.
John Martinez
First for aquila LT with e/m lgl please
Logan Sanders
You are less than a shoe. Less than a worn out shoe. You are a worn out combat heel.
Jose Allen
You remind me of a Bashi Bazouk.
Charles King
Because CB only replaces the models that don't sell. It's one of their most retarded business practices and the reason why you should give people who buy the Zerat box tons of shit.
Jack Gomez
I think it's part of making Mercs more prominent. We're reaching a rather high number of Mercs now. You can run ISS now with nothing but Mercs aside from the Lt.
Kevin Jenkins
Pretty much. JSA starter needs a serious rework...
Jonathan Jenkins
There is only one cure for heathens like yourself- beatings. I will send my Mutta'wiyah to beat you, I will send my Rafik to beat you. If an Odalisque should pass you on the street, she could beat you dead and no cleric would mind.
Chase Williams
>what is business 101
Austin Sanders
>Infinity general: Mem(e)ri tv -edition
Christopher Turner
>Don't update models that people buy. >People buy them because they need them like auxilia despite how bad they look. >Or they're retarded units like Ghazi that are an auto include. We all understand the business principle but that doesn't make it any less retarded you retard.
Cooper Torres
Well, you for one don't seem to understand it. I don't want to insult actual retards by drawing parallels between them and you, they've suffered enough.
Ethan Moore
>CBIDF Ok chuckles. Don't you have a siesta to take?
Tyler Scott
except for the doofy big guns the auxilia are fine
Jason Parker
To gain a deeper knowledge of PanO (and CB), I'm going to marathon "Carlos, rey emperador".
Christian Roberts
Look at their shit-awkward pose and say that again, mate.
Isaac Bell
>UUUH, I DON'T LIKE A MODEL STOP BUYING IT RETARDS
Liam Myers
The fuck you smokin m8? They look like playdoh next to modern units.
Josiah Phillips
You should actually Marathon scifi B-movies that inspired the setting to achieve that.
Robert Rodriguez
I spit on your Mayanet and your ALEPH as surely as a camel spits on a fornicator. Have you seen the GoGo Marlene Show? Truly, there is the perfect example of why PanO was a mistake.
forgot they need a pointy finger and a tactical rock :)
Christian Myers
Yea, that's pretty much the jist of it spergo.
Oh a shitty gimmick you can't remove from the model. Something like a dead alien hand gently grasping the models hip.
Leo Hall
Or a shitty gimmick.*
Christian Davis
Do people get much use out of the non-smoke grenades?
Grayson Clark
One time I used Nimbus grenades on my Zhanying to get Fenix into cover. My opponent had him covering a long fire lane so I used the Nimbus to give myself a defensive bonus, then used Sensor to give me 2 dice to his 1. It worked but it felt really janky and order intensive. Using an MSV2 unit would have been a much better investment if it hadn’t been killed.
Cameron Collins
I haven't taken anything with them recently, but when I did I usually forgot I had them. Just looking them over its seems they're best used for ARO or speculative fire, but the only models I have with them are Naffatuns and spending a whole order on a 5 or lower rolls seems like a waste of time.
Anthony Harris
You got anymore?
Thomas Rodriguez
What 80s scifi anime or 80s scifi anime art?
Ghost in the Shell Akira Bubblegum Crisis Tank Police Cyber City 808 Battle Angel Alita AD Police
Jayden Roberts
>those anime titles
Holy shit, user, are you me?
Aiden Martin
Well a half the good scifi anime are from the 80s and if you like scifi and anime your going to find a lot of overlap in taste.
Henry Rogers
Don't underestimate speculative fire. Up close they are only -3 on a stat that is usually 13-14. In the new season of ITS there are a few missions where you need to kill the enemy HVT with a data tracker. Doing it safely with grenades is one of the easiest and best strategies.
Angel Johnson
you are missing Varuna: the anime/manga brub
Appleseed
Levi Stewart
Varuna?
I did forget Appleseed, but really anything Masamune does should go without saying. Even his later work can fit in as Bakunin inspiration.
Jose Bennett
>HAL's character designs for War in the Pocket
My son's name is Alex.
Joshua Sanders
>Blackjack: the anime
Hell yes
Brandon Edwards
Not really, the entire MI division of PanO is literally AD Police/ESWAT crossover, more on the ESWAT thought.
The only thing lacks is a proper landmate/hardsuit.
Sebastian Campbell
Speaking of which, I really like giant robots. Are TAGs worth taking or are they liabilities? In many TT games, big point sinks = big targets and go down quick.
Joshua Smith
yeah, but why the fucking druze. They should give more option to Kaplan, maybe even extend them to a full Turkish faction.
Luis Bailey
TAGs are solid, but can be tricky to use. You generally need to babysit your TAG a bit since it's a very juicy target in a very lethal game and has various counters, but if you build around it properly then there's nothing with quite the same raw speed and strength as even a no-frills TAG.
Gavin Turner
Infinity suffers from that. Orders are the most important resource and expensive things only provide one of them. TAGs are the most expensive. They have slowly been making improvements to try and mitigate the issue. Last season TAGs all became specialists and there were some missions added that get bonus points for using them. This season TAGs across the board got increased damage. These changes definitely help, some TAGs are in an amazing spot like the Sphinx, but others still need adjustments in my opinion.
Julian Thomas
It's not even remotely retarded you whiny fuck. If a model isn't doing well then an visual update is the best way to improve sales, especially since fucking all of the units in Infinity are solid picks. "Popular" models that don't look super swag could easily just be flavor of the month (or year).
Hell, even Ghazi aren't auto include. I have a Haqqislam list that I love and it has 0 room for Ghazi.
this is what nomads want to happen to humanity. Without Aleph controling all the AI and robots, we would be destroyed.
Robert Lewis
Ghazi are heroes of the people, ready to risk their lives to prove themselves as symbols of Haqqislam and it's values.
Nothing you would know of, Druze.
James Sanchez
Please, you know that you are witnesses ALEPH's logical conclusion.
Blake Lewis
Kaplan are already based as fuck.
Anthony Scott
Auxilia look fine. They don't look like classic Kum and shit.
Mason Cooper
AVA2 Druze for FRRM when? They're mercs that mesh well with the Anaconda and give the French more unit variety without actually needing to make a new unit.
It's such an obvious choice that the chances of CB actually doing it are almost none
Aiden Bailey
alpeh protects people, it goes through hoops to not kill humanos. Nomads on the other hand create AIs, abomination mutantos . God knows what virus and man eating backteria they create on those stationes of theirs.
yes, but we need AD kaplan. a kaplan TAG, some LI and HI kaplans. basic stuff. No one wants the druz, they aren't even muslims .
Easton Nguyen
What would they get out of druze?
Parker Campbell
> it goes through hoops to not kill humanos
Yeah, it leaves that to PanO and Yu Jing and Combined Army
Brody Walker
What? Why do we need more Kaplan stuff? Kaplan are fine as is. Druze is a legit choice to help out the sales of an awesome unit.
Jacob Torres
Turkish super man or some heretic that mix religions? what is next a singh or kurd sectorial?
Jaxon Lewis
Killer or assault hacker with a decent bodyguard to go with it. KHD can help defend an Anaconda (which will hopefully be buffed itself to be a better option) and do general purpose fuckery while AHD makes the sectorial's many DEPs more potent than ever since you can fire them at carbonited foes. Neither would be too powerful for Ariadna since they're not on a crazy platform and don't have a repeater net.
Elijah Moore
Dude, just fluff your Quapu Khali list as all-Turkish.
Fuck, you could do that with Vanilla.
Daniel Jones
QK is as Turkish as some Anatol hicks are. It would be as if the representation of pan'o were some aborigenes.
Dylan Nelson
>implying a bunch of abos wouldn't be a hundred times more Australian than the Not!America PanO is currently portrayed as
Henry Perez
of course, we know that the core of pano is british, with spicy sprinkle of kiwi and some ocenian US colonies barbaque. this is what makes panocenia the second best faction in the entire game. that and the fact that they finaly understood the folly of protestantism. I don't play them, but I do have respect for the. But back to the QK. All its units are either barbary pirates, anatolan zelots and harm whores. And anyone knows a bit about history knows that, if it wasn't for the 100 years of so called harem rule turky would rule the world. What we need is a true turk army, non of that janisary infidels that rebel at the drop of a hat. Strong wreslers, man whose style, honor and skill gave birth to europeon knight legends. If there has to be some sort of females, then pick a worthy woman Hafsa Sultana, and not some slavic slave like Hurrem.
Camden Jenkins
Do you have no idea what the word "fluff" means?
Easton Hernandez
We need to bring back that /inf/ bingo, with "real world nationalist shitposting" as a permanent fixture in it.
I'd understand if it was just the same group of Poles or something, but it isn't. Aside from Polish shitposting we've had Korean (who was actually in Norway), Japanese, Russian, Lithuanian, a bunch of other shitty slavic countries I can't remember, and now Turkish.
Michael Parker
I was born in germany.
Jonathan Hughes
Make the bingo card, dude. It's not that hard of a project.
Aaron Carter
Because Druze are badwrong guys that genocided Caledonians with glee? Merovingia is all about trade and relations, they don't want to anger their neighbours without reason.
Gee, it's like fluff doesn't matter to slme of you guys.
Elijah Thomas
I think "PanO is an AMERICAN faction" deserves a square.
Hunter Nelson
They were just doing what they were hired to do, and under FRRM they won't be hired to do such things. Maybe the Caledonians should look at the literal bandits they hire and protect before opening their fucking mouths.
And fluff is why I didn't suggest Kaplan, since they're too integrated into Haqq to really fit an Ariadnan army.
Parker Peterson
I'm pretty lazy, but okay. I'll probably give up halfway through though.
Nah that's mostly just me, and I'm getting bored of harping on about it.
Ayden Powell
>I'm pretty lazy, but okay. I'll probably give up halfway through though.
Dude, just reward yourself by looking at Infinity butts whenever you complete a square.
> fluff is why I didn't suggest Kaplan, since they're too integrated into Haqq to really fit an Ariadnan army.
You have literally not read Kaplan lore.
Cameron Gonzalez
If ISIS was a shady PMC that did contract work for a major power hostile to Israel before Israel was legally recognized as its own country, and helped that power commit atrocities to a different section of Israel to the ones hiring them (that are largely disconnected but still work together for reasons of self-defence), that would be true. But considering that comparison completely breaks down as soon as you even begin to consider anything beyond "these people might not like each other much".
I've read quite a bit of the available Kaplan lore, but maybe there's more I haven't found. Perhaps you should me about it.
Also the RPG book, but that doesn't really have much. Just repeating that they're a subsidiary of Beyhan and compete with the Druze for a lot of Sultanate contracts.
Nolan Morales
What army should I collect if I want to represent pic related?
Chase Gutierrez
So you mean the way Israel was selling egyptian and syrian weapons to the muchahedin in afganistan, with help from US and egyptian military?
>It has also received attack contracts, especially during the Ariadnan Commercial Conflicts and the Paradiso Offensives > it had its size and operational capability improved to be able to offer its services to third parties. >But no matter whether they are working for a government or a private company
Brandon Collins
Yeah come to think of it my initial post was a little too definite, sorry about that. I didn't mean that FRRM couldn't hire Kaplans, just that Druze do a lot of work over broader areas for all kinds of clients rather than being based in the Sultanate like KTS, so they'd be a better candidate for showing up in another faction.
I'm also working from a crunch perspective as well as a fluff one, and Druze are by far the more interesting option for FRRM there.
Gavin Morales
Why does everyone hate the Pheasant? He seems alright.
Carson Stewart
>and under FRRM they won't be hired to do such things Of course they won't. FRRM won't even hire Scarface.
Carson Clark
>tfw Hassassins and Black Hand will never kidnap you and turn you into a beautiful woman.
Jeremiah Campbell
Exactly. Not "good", not "awesome", not "excellent", just "alright". Decent on its own, but loses in competition to alternatives.
Juan Reed
Funny thing is, the Human Sphere page on the Iskaller is missing a sentence or two compared to the 1e fluff, namely the bit on the end where it tells you how they got their name.
Benjamin Johnson
Grenades are amazing, expecially on a unit that can get closer to the enemy. SAS hidden in the center of a table creates a 16" bubble where he can throw them with speculative fire at BS10. Even outside the +3 range, it's still BS4 to get rid of that nasty TO camo dude in Supressive Fire or Kill a few guys that stand too close to eachother. Sometimes it might be worth spending a few orders. And in some cases it's just a neat ARO weapon at close range.
John Myers
I speculative fire regular grenades as often as I can.
E/M grenades against a link (especially HI link) is also pretty great. It's my most common use of Lt order for my Domaru.
