There's also some FUD about it being easily attacked since the network security is weak, but I didn't pursue it further.

There's some threads on reddit bringing up a potential spam problem, without any answers from the devs, I'm waiting to see how that pans out.
They say pruning is coming but that still doesn't solve the problem for full nodes.
Higher PoW, spam filtering etc.. will also affect legitimate microtxs. One of the benefits of no fees is exactly to do lots of txs.
I do kinda regret selling this though.

Yea i saw some of those threads and also did some digging on their prevention mechanisms against spam and it would cost an unreasonable amount of money to spam the network (i think i read 10000/hour or something idk)

That one thread says ~1200 usd per GB. So for about a million you can put the coin completely out of reach to a lot of users. Surely a whale with a short position could make some money out of that.

I bought 3k XRB for 700e. Let that sink in. Sadly dumped most of them because I happen to know it has some difficult flaws and there are better and more established coins on the market already. Nobody could've seen this one coming so fast
And before you fags accuse me of FUD, this is just valid criticism. Spam IS a problem, trying to solve it with POW is a problem, having no incentive to run validator nodes is a problem, being an experimental DAG while not being peer reviewed is a problem.
