Gnoblar are another type of Goblin. They're the least greenskin of all greenskins and don't even worship Gork and/or Mork.

For some reason Gnoblar have no Snotlings, so they may be a superior breed.

Gnoblar always serve other races, the rare one that can into independence leads his own horde of Gnoblar.

Am I the only one that kind of dislikes the Gnoblars? They don't add much interesting to the Ogres, and they feel like a slap in the face to the Orc and Goblins fans - at least regular Goblins can form good armies. Gnoblars are just pathetic, and beyond that kind of boring - even the Gretchin of 40k have more flavor since they can build their own Grot Tanks and stuff.

Why couldn't GW create something new? Like maybe some diminutive eastern version of a halfling, since there are apparently short humanoids scattered in Lustria and the Southlands. I know the pygmies are old lore, but there are still fluff mentions from time to time.

Gnoblars are the ogre's replacement for the natural halflings they're supposed to have. It's part of why ogres or so savage, gnoblars are too stupid to do a halfling's job of thinking for its ogre.

We're talking about Dwarves who have an extremely skewed gender ratio and are extremely serious about marriages, dowry and having a ton of kids.

That's like saying humans are all the same. Goblins worship Mork (or maybe Gork) more than orcs do. Black Orcs venerate Gork more than any other greenskin. Forest Goblins worship a strange spider entity that sends them visions from beyond the veil.

As for accent I can't say for certain as we only have one stock accent in vidya. Common goblins still have different lifestyles from orcs, Night Goblins, Gnoblas, Fire Kobalds, Hill Goblins, Hob Goblins, etc.

Still sad we never got an interesting Ogre faction of mercenaries from all over the place, always felt Ogre Kingdoms didn't fit the world at all.

As for gnoblars, stupid name, stupid design, should have been hobgoblins.

"Gotrex and Felix: Orcslayer" is pretty shit so far. They haven't explained the 20 year time leap, Gotrex isn't acting like a dwarf anymore, and the hyper-intelligent Orcs that don't act like Orcs anymore remind me eerily too much of Warhammer 40k's 'The Beast'. Not sure how I feel about Nathan Long writing it instead of William King.
