Opportunity to redo life with old memories intact, so you can avoid some of the mistakes you made in the past that eat away at you on cold, quiet nights, while still providing a bit of a different experience as you've seen things through a man's eyes all your life. Also an assumption for lower responsibility and accountability, as societal pressures are aimed less at getting your shit completely together and it's more socially acceptable to eventually marry someone else and rely on them to provide for you. This gives the potential to "never grow up" even if you're able to age, as children already have very little responsibility. There's also the possibility of it being the result of a sexual fetish, or if not the driving factor then at least wishing to be the one pursued rather than the one pursuing a relationship, as girls have traditionally been expected to be more passive in the dating game, which could alleviate low self esteem held by anons as their suitors make them feel valued and at least slightly inflate their self worth. Alternatively, they prefer female fashion, dance, or other mannerisms, and wish to partake without invoking disgust from society or having misunderstandings arise in regards to their own sexuality.

tl;dr - It's attractive for anyone that wants to redo life, are curious of the other side, NEETs that think they can avoid responsibility, those without confidence to gain a spouse on their own, and those that have some attraction towards at least some aspects of the traditional female gender role.

Not that this is a complete list, it's only some of the possibilities. It's not hard to see these things whenever someone posts a build for a cyoa where they become a little girl.

Good luck somehow changing the DNA of literally every cell in your body at once. The real potential "become the girl" technology is brain transplants, ideally with a female clone of yourself or something altered to be similar. Even that is centuries away at best, and people hate genetic technology to the point where GMOs, a perfectly safe thing with no reported accidents, valid evidence of even the remotest potential for harm, or scientific basis for said harm, is vilified by millions. In the hypothetical situation of using a CRISPR-like system to become the little girl you're literally just changing your chromosomes from XY to XX. All the other genetic data is identical to what you already had, and there's no woman acting as a donor to give you her genetic code.

I didn't ask if anyone had made one. I asked if any existed. I could try my hand at making one, so it would help to see existing ones. Especially since I have never made a cyoa before. I have a few ideas so far that could make for a fun one, but then you said you would never want to live there.

Admittedly oversimplified, point stands that the changes given would not be from genetic donors. There was an assumption that you would replace your cells with someone elses, but no one else in the thread mentioned anything else about cloning.

Theoretically it could change your Y to have the same instructions as the X, but you would still in fact be XY. I don't know of any methods that could actually change out one Chromosome for another. On that note though if you had some method to build a new X chromosome, CRISPR has been proven to be able to destroy and remove entire chromosomes, so it could do a Y removal, it just hasn't shown any replacement skills on that level.
