Play female tiefling

>play female tiefling
>proficient in intimidation rather than persuasion

Not everyone wants to fuck a neon skinned waifu with self confidence issues. Some people do in fact see demons and genuine beings from hell as both bad and scary.

>Play a paladin
>Smite a thiefling

All in a good day of work.

Isn't that from WoW?

> start thread about thieflings
> don't use image featuring thiefling
> complain about skill selection that is consistent with lore

Go suck a demon dick OP.

Presumably then get your shit kicked in by the Crimson Legion, the Tiefling Paladin order. They act as intermediaries between the gods who oppose Asmodeus and the various devils that wish to betray him (For various greedy or sometimes moral reasons)

It's not like it's hard to intimidate people as a tiefling. The hard part is indimidating them into obeying you instead of throwing rocks at you.

Which setting is this? I don't think it's FR, but then again that's the setting where Asmodeus is a major plot point.

Yes, but draenei and tieflings are basically the same.
>I want to play a good aligned demon person!

Lel come at me, we got a full order ready to star a war of righteous.

draenei (and orcs) are literally aliens, according to WoW.

But, then again, in pathfinder Elves are aliens so who am I to argue?

Draenei are space aliens that ran from the burning legion and crashed at Azeroth as the current place of living. Granted you can argue the other who who took the blood that got them fucked up, but they aren't Draenai that point.

A Capital Choice.

>draenei (and orcs) are literally aliens, according to WoW.
So are demons

>pathfinder Elves are aliens so who am I to argue?
What?

Eh true, but the Titanfag created them to go on a space crusade. So you can say they are demons rather than anything. Well the original burning crusade.

>be OP
>post two line greentext threads
You could grow up.

4e's Points of Light. The Setting with Tieflings are a corebook race (They were basically Much Dickier Rome who made a deal with Asmodeus to prevent the fall of the empire when it got too large and unwieldy and started falling apart. They eventually fell against Dragonborn Carthage, with both empires bled to the point where neither could maintain control of their other territories.).

The Crimson Legion are the remnants of the old Tiefling military, who gave up the worship of Asmodeus when they saw where it got their ancestors and now turn that discipline and tactical skill to stopping him wherever he acts.

Yeah, but in WoW, humans, dwarves and gnomes are mutant alien robots, so grain of salt and all that

You go around smiting half-orcs too?

It should depend on the setting; in Might & Magic, there would be no difference between the two.

You've got to create your own fun

Well obviously she's drawing on her demonic heritage to terrify mewling mortals. She might even be calling in favors from her diabolic sire, allowing her the dread powers of that most torturous afterlife.

You might say she's got friends on the other side.

But who's going to be afraid of some tiefling woman?

Anyone of class level 0 who values his skin

The ones who don´t want to have sex with her.

Anyone easily spooked by creepy light shows, ghosts, and the threat of losing their immortal SOULSSS, is who.

>play female tiefling
>every one is uncomfortable wile i try and hit on the men in the party.

I'm making a Team Rocket-like duo in my campaign as a couple of villains. I want one to be a lithe Tiefling Sorcerer with wings and one would be a large guy with claws. What should they be called? Thinking of making them edgy like pic related

Jezebel and Jaemiel

THATS A FUCKING DRAENEI YOU IGNORANT KEKWHEEL FAGGOT

Sidious calm down, don't you deal with both aliens and dark powers on a regular basis?

>Jezibel and Japhrimel

Comes up under a "blue tiefling" google search. Draenei have blue eyes.

Sadam and Gamora

Someone smarter than you.

I would be too. Just dot get handsy with them.

Hey that's pretty good! I like it. Might not use "Sadam" though, might be a touchy subject since one of my players is Iraqi.

Will probably go for Sodom and Gomorrah though!

Forgotten Realms is a shit setting and I wish death on the idiots who made it the default popular setting for D&D

Yeah. Tried to twist them into actual names. If they're not!Team Rocket though, the names have just gotta be a reference like that

My entire campaign is full of references like that, so it fits really well. Thanks m80

IIRC, I heard a guy story time about a guy who had really done his research to play the most over the top caricature of a muslim extremist which made him worried since one of his other players was a guy from the middle east, but the dude was so on point that the guy from the middle east thought it was hilarious and got every single joke that the rest of the party missed.

No prob. Best of luck to you!

>She's huge.

>Like the Incredible Hulk huge.

>She keeps trying to charm people but always winds up intimidating them.

But That’s a space goat

>tiefling paladin

To be perfectly honest I would be scared of any aligned creatures, tieflings just carry that problem and I want nothing to do with that.

And why is it an issue?

Chesty and Shames are Cream Rocket.
Critical hits automatically launch them into orbit. Critical miss and you cut a piece of their clothes off, which gives them a boner.

John and Ashley.

Panty and stocking

Or scanty and kneesocks

Player in my game a few years ago made a Tiefling Sorc who (simplifying here) wanted to just gain as much power as possible. She took the intimidation because it made sense that she tried to force her way through it rather than persuading people that she saw as "lesser beings".

She's not a tiefling. She's Russian. The Hellish ancestry is a much stronger in them.

>Be the DM
>Voice Redcaps like they're annoying, cockny street thugs

Easy to do when everyone is convinced you're a demon from hell, you know.

Abyssal tieflings are now a thing

They were a thing before 4e and 5e ever existed, you idiot.

Well considering they were retconned to all be descendants of Asmodeus, I think it's worth noting thats no longer the case.

FPBP

That's not true, even in 4e. The 4e backstory is

I don't know what to tell you if you think that disproves what I said.

smite yourself

Because they are not descendants of him, they are descendants of people who made a pact with him. They are not literally devil-blooded.

I know what to tell you: You're an idiot.

99% of everything can be plucked out of FR and used in any other setting. Why does it matter?

They're plane-touched nigga, they don't have to literally be his children to have his blood in their veins

Tieflings have disadvantage on deception because everyone assumes the demonspawn is lying all the time.

Humans are mutant vikings, not robots.

This is how I intimidation

>whose going to be afraid of this woman with demon blood in her veins
>who presumably has dark magical powers
>who could just gore you with her dumb demon horns
gee user, I don't know

>play tiefling
>Don't have horns
>have acid blood as my daemon ancestry trait
>Everyone recognize me as non-human or unnaturally wary

Strong acids smell sour, user. It's not that they know you're a nonhuman. You just stink.

...

The giant vikings were mutant robots first, then humans were mutants of the mutants, just tiny.

Is this just blood or bodily fluids in general?

>You go around smiting half-orcs too?
Yes

>>who could just gore you with her dumb demon horns

You think injuries, I think handlebars

In the default setting (Golarion) elves originated from Castrovel and most disappeared back there for a few thousand years when the starstone fell to the planet.

Elves aren't native to Golarion rather they are from the neighboring planet Castrovel, a hot humid world with higher water content mostly covered in swamps and jungles.

Only blood, that's why i'm mad. It's defiantly "oh shit that's a demon" kind of trait, but not outright obvious. But since default assumption is: if you are playing tiefling, you have unnatural colored skin and dumb looking 4e horns, you are apparently getting marked as one just because.

>play a racial stereotype >subvert one part of that stereotype
>I'm so creative and interesting, surely this deserves it's own thread

In which setting do tieflings not have a weird skin colour or horns or a tail. Any one of these would already put you in not human category.
Most of the time you have to explicitly pick a trait/feature/ability or something that makes mostly human, not the other way around

>play female tiefling
>Use pic of Draenei

>Tieflings smell like rotten eggs

Sam and Dean

>No two tieflings look alike; the fiendish blood running through their veins manifests inconsistently, granting them an array of fiendish traits. One tiefling might appear as a human with small horns, a barbed tail, and oddly colored eyes, while another might manifest a mouth of fangs, tiny wings, and claws, and yet another might possess the perpetual smell of blood, foul incenses, and brimstone.
You can google tiefling trait table and see all the possible traits they had in older editions, many of those aren't clear tells or can be hidden to avoid prejudice. I think it was 4e that cemented red-skinned, tailed, horned image.
>Digits: odd number
>Build: obese
>Ears: pointed
>Head: bald
>Other: androgynous
>Other: strange smell
>Extremely long eyelashes

Well my point was that tieflings can always be identified as "not human", which what you posted more or less supports.
Especially this:
>granting them an array of fiendish traits
This means however your tiefling actually looks, you can always point at something

draenei are tieflings indeed

>playing as anything other than the most obvious, cliched stereotype for my race
>get accused of being pretentious by the rest of the table

>Well my point was that tieflings can always be identified as "not human", which what you posted more or less supports.

Yeah, though many of them may look no odder than an elf or any other common race. I mean, that example right from the table is 'A neckbeard elf'

>my point was that tieflings can always be identified as "not human", which what you posted more or less supports.
No it doesn't, at all. None of the traits i quoted would out you as one at first glance (or second or third for that matter), that's the very reason i picked them. Unless you play in a setting where bald and obese people don't exist, no one ever lost a finger, half elves don't exist, penis inspection is a mandatory town gate procedure and so on.

I know this might sound obstuse, but how does fat elf or whatever not qualify as "not human"

fatties are not people

Because at that point, you might as well have 90+% of player characters being accused of being demonspawn.

Hey man, I didn't think I'd have say one of my mottoes here, but no respect for fat people.
Plus it's a fat elf and not a fat humie

Ride into the sunset you magnificent bastard

It's not fat elf. It is fatty, baldy, stinky, even digits joe, etc.
Most of the trait table would indeed identify you as a tiefling or at least would suggest that you might be not quite human. But with some traits you can leave whole life without being outed, unless some supernatural senses / spells are in play.

I wasn't aware there were women who didn't know how to be intimidating

You are my nigguh, thieflings are a cancer that must be purged. If by chance that was a typo, then you are not my nigguh.

In every game I've played with tieflings their ability to pass as a human has been a significant aspect of their interactions with human society, similarly to half-elves but with more creative solutions. The phenotypic diversity is one of the more interesting features of the generally kind of boring race.

FWIW: most british muslims find Three Lions hilarious.
