I really can't get into pnp podcasts. Tried your pic related, the team fourstar one, some DSA Podcasts...too many people talking from too far from the mic, too much unrelated nonsense, unexciting, etc..
So all I can say is that Ross has a nice style and that I would diddle Arin's char.
I'm liking Just One More Fix, but they don't do live playing, just reviews and general DM tips/discussion.
I haven't yet found a podcast with people playing that wasn't a total cringefest.
I enjoy D&D is For Nerds. they do get side tracked a bit. but its not terrible.
Can't stand the Ez Allies one.
I used to watch it but all of the characters are C/N dicks, there is barely any plot and Ben loves to fuck the rules to always favour the players.
I've listened to a bunch going to and from work, the really shitty ones I just threw in the trash and are repressed memories.
fuck i cant stand the new Game Grumps one. Almost as bad as their youtube red show.
I really enjoyed this series of videos of an AD&D forgotten realms game.
I think I enjoyed it because it was basically a bunch of grognards playing old school D&D. They also took things seriously, put effort and sincerity into roleplaying ( if not a little over the top at times ) and didn't just make post-modern we're too cool for this really jokes like most of the hipster kids who record their games do.
To that effect I've yet to find anything else online I've found entertaining or useful to watch.
Is that just the resolution or do I spot freckled titties?
I haven't seen that series but I agree, it's really annoying that there aren't more grog type stuff getting attention. It can really be helpful for new players to see things being taken more seriously so you don't get distracted by a joke or adopt the flippant attitude of some people. That leads to lazy gaming.
One I remember that was a bit more like that was a podcast called Critical Hit, but the DM was super monotone and I got tired of him.
