Come Up and Get Me on its own is a pretty good plot hook

>The World ends tonight
>Throw the last house party with everyone you can get on the line with
>Friends, Ex-Lovers, Mortal Enemies, all in one location to fuck it all up
>Fight, Love, and Live one last time.

I don’t care what system you use, that’s a decent plot starter.

Or Tales from the Kingdom of Fife.

>Litteraly the shittiest gorillaz album
At least plastic beach has a somewhat coesive narrative that tackles the aftermath of demon days and polution, as a serious issue instead of "imbeach drumpf xDDD"

...

What domains do the temple of syrinx grant?

Bring dance back to the cyberpunk dystopia.

...

Law certainly, and I'd say Knowledge as well. They might be tyrannical and jealously guard what they have, but still.

...

Could be made to work.

Could be fun if you don't go too meta and run something in the mage wars

>travel to the future
>not sure if it's a dream or actually in the future
>not sure if there is a way back
>all you want is to see your gf

Hell breaks loose and monsters start swarming the streets

Giant Robots fighting Aliens.

Wasn't it just Halleluja Money that dealt with political shit?

DEEP IN THE CORNER
OF YOU WAKING MIND

THERE LIES... ANOTHER TIME
WHERE DARKNESS & LIGHT ARE ONE

This would make a great Call of Cthulhu campaign.

My thoughts exactly. It was just the earliest released song, so a lot of people thought it would be the theme of the album.
Also who the hell liked The Fall more than Humanz? I didn’t know they made people like that.

at least the fall has Amarillo as it's saving grace

Such a good album. The opening dialogue in Dead Flag Blues could inspire any zombie/ post apocalypse game, not to mention the inclusion of a song on the movie "30 days later".

Eh, you're underselling the influence. There's a lot of Black Lives Matter, police brutality shit in there, and the album is pretty bad overall, imo.

Sleeping Powder was better than any of the songs in the actual thing.

>Death Grips
I see you're a man of taste as well.
I'd play this as a campaign too.
>the party runs into a Bard who was once a soldier for the crown, is now on the run from the Kingdom and needs your help

...

OP, you forgot basically all of the rest of Rush.

Straight up LoTR fanfiction. aka Babbies first RPG setting.

So does everybody else.

You can either have the "Kill the King" campaign, or the "sci-fi black hole epic" campaign. Or both.

>ready player one

Is Carmen Miranda's Ghost cheating?

Let's not talk about that.

...

Stake a lizard by the throat?
I'm in.

AND AS YOU TREAD THE HALLS OF SANITY
YOU FEEL SO GLAD TO BE UNABLE TO GO BEYOND

most GY!BE albums would make a fine post-apo campaign
>battling evil circus troupes
>staking lizards by the throat
>fuck the beatles
sign me the fuck up

...

The title track and Teen Riot Structure could make a cool glam apocalypse campaign.
youtube.com/watch?v=-qOAlBiYqz4

...

It's not a specific album but ICP's Dark Carnival in general would be a fun campaign.

It could potentially get a bit magical realm by the time The Lamina and Colony of Slippermen kicks in

I HAVE A MESSAGE
FROM ANOTHER TIME...

Anything Dio

Anything by a band call Ghoul, no but for real listen to them they're good

Ah, thanks user. All these middle school memories just flooded back to me. Where the fuck did they go? They won Eurovision and then fucking vanished.
I always liked them better than GWAR

...

...

Dead Can Dance - In the Realm of a Dying Sun

...

...

Metal... Gear?

I was there. Such a fantastic show.

>GWAR
golden taste, my patrician friend!

The Slaughtergarden dungeon is too hard

So would the guy that found Alshain be the BBEG or what?

...

All the songs except maybe Tears of a Clown could be used to make a cohesive campeign. Necropolis (Eddie?) would make a pretty good end boss.

...

Making continued dex saving throws to avoid crashing your Spitfire during the Death or Glory section would get annoying

youtube.com/watch?v=w6qEB5g8S2o

If only Fading Suns had a better system

This would be both fun and creepy as fuck. I'd play it.

Blast Tyrant would work as well.

Except their 90s stuff.
Good taste

...

...

Alternatively

My man.

It's criminal that there isn't a better recording of the original:

>be me
>gming a short campaign about metamorphsis
>Accidently make a Magical realm for That Guy
>Party Faces of against BBEG, a Electro/Necromancer, whose recently finished creation is also rampaging about.
>Final fight is Party Vs Lord of Lightning Vs Balrog
>Campaign ends, and everyone is happy
>except for That Guy
>He demands to continue the story with just him
>okay, I am just here to see the shitshow
>he wants his character, who was a human to become a cyborg in the distant futuer
>his motivation is to become human
>but you were just...
>He wants to die and to vomit
>Magical realm senses tingling, but I want to see this plane crash
>I give him a small quest:make a human
>he does it, and I make that character incredibly disgusted to him
>and the dial turns to eleven with him describing in great detail how he covers the universe in vomit, by detonating himself
>he is not even making sense anymore
>tfw the better the part of the album, the worst the part of the campaign

I listened to this album tonight because you made it sound good. Thanks desu

My man

>you befriend a chinese dragon who gives strengthening potions and teaches an incredibly fast, chaotic fighting style
>along the way you fuck a bald-headed wench, dig a gold mine, forget who you are and fly off a precipice

hell patrol, all guns blazing and nightcrawler could be pretty decent ideas for plots

...

Yeah, you gotta stay far away from the Willing Well.

Make it like Kill 40 Billion Demons or something

...

I always thought this album would be particularly good as the soundtrack to a Monsterhearts game, especially with an Infernal as a primary focus. Listening to youtube.com/watch?v=A-vrYeVGGZ0 I can't help but think of the concept of an ultra-religious/repressed Carrie type awakening as an Infernal and shit getting NUTS.

I'd play it.

MY MAN!

I did this for a one shot, it went ok

A Space Filk / SS13 campaign would be fucking rad

why haven't you mongs posted this yet

Nice model the whole bamd would make for good demon prince's

Why should that matter when the question is the setting?

Dont be literall niggers, this is the album you need to make a campaing of.

youtube.com/watch?v=I3395sRfD24

...

obviously.

i'd prefer a Fire of Unknown Origin campaign. really, just pick one of theirs, it'd work.

Came here to post this. Evil wizards, ancient laserdragons, eaglewarriots and miniscule goblins, what more do you need?

And,no world. Though I will say GBAIBS IV is a solid album. Alternately, the dear hunter cycle would work great as a noirish whodunit.

The lyrics are the best thing about this album

youtube.com/watch?v=l1HGhc1oamo

postapofag reportin' in

Too busy thinking about Brittany being my waifu.

The album's about a psychic pirate who comes back from the head to reveal an ancient prophecy about the Ennunaki
Really most Running Wild albums could work

youtu.be/LdEX_q31_-g

Can I do this in Dungeons tthe Dragoning?

the word says "Archspire"
Damn sweet cover art, saved

lool kuin paskaa joku semeksi o.

How about some good raid tunes instead
youtube.com/watch?v=12w7uZRP9Pw

or even changeling the dreaming styled bossanova

>its criminal that there isn't a better recording of the original

My friend let me show you the light:

Been a long time since I've seen a thread like this.
Anybody want to do an user a favor? I remember way back someone posted a song from what I think was a jap concept album, the song was about a boy indoctrinated to kill a king and he falls in love with the princess and she kills him after he kills the king. the tune has been stuck in my head forever but I don't remember the name and haven't been able to search for it.
Any kind souls out there know what I'm on about?

The whole concept of the album is that a man is sent on a quest to the top of the mountain while encountering a bunch of crazy creatures and dangerous obstacles along the way. Would be a dope setting for a campaign.
