what the fuck is wrong with there faces.

Drawn by an artist who isn't very good at it

Be glad you didn't know about Goblins til today

I would not have expected Jennifer Hale of all people to like the "I'M SAD" goreporn mess that is Goblins.

Didn't the last kickstarter/big project result in the dude getting ripped off by his friend, followed by a breakdown and personal financial ruin as he attempted to compensate all of his cheated backers?

>Jennifer Hale

WE IS GOBBOS

i thought the guy who made goblins got killed or something

Nah, it ended in him building a new house while taking a break from delivering the comic which scammed all that money out of people.

I'm sure she doesn't. What she does like, however, is a paycheck.

I'm sure commander Shepard can find a better fucking source of income.

Isn't she supposed to be on strike with the rest of the voice actors

Yeah but she's a voice actor. Why would she be opposed to being paid to do voice acting in some cartoon, regardless if she thinks it's good or not? It's her job and she gets paid to do it.

Why is the art so bad?

makes me sad

I'm not that opposed. Either it crashes and burns and I lose nothing or I get a curiosity to look at.

I'M SAD

Goblins is still going on? I haven't thought about that shit in years, god damn. It doesn't look like the art has gotten any less dismal.

didn't he die of eternal bleeding

TL;DR: The guy made KS for a board game, after it funded just stopped updating / responding to any contact for some months, then showed up again explaining the previous as mental breakdown. Now he makes second KS.

Those aren't goblins those are Grundos

AFAIK, the VA strike ended with the voice actors achieving jack shit and caving for peanuts instead of holding out for any real improvements.

This

I can't believe anyone would be willing to pay for this comic. It was okay when it was just a D&D parody, but now it's something way dumber.

Has anyone backed a dollar to try and alert people to his other failed kickstarter in the comments?

He's done everything he can to not mention it looking at the page.

There were too many high level scabs like Nolan North for union action to be effective.

Good, fucking commies.

Memories...

the industry acquiesced to all demands regarding job security and equality they had within a month of the strike starting
the thing that kept it going on for years was that they were demanding royalties for all roles

Yes, yes, live off the scum that falls off the bosses' boots, that's the ticket!

>the thing that kept it going on for years
It lasted a year, not 'years'. Shove that revisionist shit up your ass.

im sure my own error was me attempting to revise history to fit my own narrative
thank you for informing me

...

Here's a tip to avoid looking stupid: Read up about something before you talk about it.

Just a reminder that this faggot’s fans bought him a house.

Then he had a nervous breakdown and was hospitalized when he was told he triggered tumblr.

Fuck outta here commie

Goblins fans don’t care. Thunt could just say “give me money for nothing” and they will throw millions at him.

Hell thats literally how he owns a house now.

I think there are probably newer fans that don't know of his leeching. It's likely.

Unless there was a different kickstarter I'm not aware of, wasn't the first one's problem that the guy thunt picked to do it vanished with the money, then thunt tried to get it fulfilled anyway without access to the kickstarter itself since the guy that took the money was the one in control of it?

I thought one of the big things they were demanding was more info on their projects. Apparently VAs are kept so in the dark to avoid leaks that they read their lines without necessarily knowing who they're voicing, what the character is like or what their role is, what fucking franchise they're working on, or even what the other people in the scene are saying. A VA shared an anecdote about how he only realized he was voicing a Fallout 4 villain months after it was released and his kid recognized the voice. He had absolutely no idea.

It's more than just "hey can I know enough to do my fucking job correctly." Limiting VAs' knowledge of the project also lets studios pay VAs a pittance instead of what they deserve for voicing, as in the previous example, a major character in a multimillion-dollar game that sold a bajillion units. To my knowledge, it wasn't a fight over royalties as much as it was a fight over having enough info for VAs to actually negotiate their pay fairly and on an even playing field.

Goblins!
The Series!
Filmed in Saddovision!

Nope, the whole thing was made to be vaporware. I did run into Thunt playtesting it in the wargames hall (not the playtest hall) at gencon. One of the most antisocial/cringe guys I've ever met. He had nothing to say and no passion about the game or the kickstarter, and that was before everything fell under.

>salty voice actor who is never getting royalties detected
