Mostly finished my Daemon Prince, still need to do the base.
I'm thinking a light base would work better since the model is quite dark.
Looks cool though?
Henry Morris

Sebastian Harris
Genestealers are fucking fast
Zachary Gomez
...
Lincoln Perry
Hmm, roll 3 dice and use that stratagem so you're getting an extra 10-12" move. That's cool.
Jaxon Thomas
...
Cooper Powell
Some of these Tyranid stratagems seems super powerful. What do you lot think?
Noah Foster
As an Ork player it gives me hope
Gavin King
...
Hudson Gray
...
Zachary Perez
Ya, I wonder sort of stuff we'll be getting. Lot's of the stratagems seem really good for the Fight phase so fingers crossed.
Nathaniel Brooks
Curious to see Warlord Traits, Raveners, Trygon Prime, Mawloc and Red Terror. This is some good shit.
Alexander Lewis
Those infestation nodes look cool
lots of customization, sweet
Jayden Ward
Looks cool, maybe a light drybrush over the skin though since right now it looks a little drab. Perhaps some touches of Nurgle's Rot here and there too.
Jonathan Wright
Feels like it's just gonna be genestealers, the army.
They outclass most melee of all armies, let alone in terms of internal balance. Half the codex is fast melee guys, why bother when you can just take genestealers?
Blake Clark
Meh, Kronos looks just like Behemoth.
Elijah Cooper
Because I'm not WAAC and rather take Raveners because fluffy reasons. I mean with a Red Terror around with index rules they hit on a 2+ with re-rolling 1's, it's about as good as gene stealers, throw on spine-fists and you get 4 shot pistols (sure they go up to I think 26 points a model) but, it sounds fun to me. And that is a bit more important than just out right domination of dumping a wall of Genestealers on the board and re-imagining the near destruction of the Blood Angels. As, unquestionably effective as they are, I might take a unit of them because I'm not against tuning to be effective, I just like making something fluffy and effective.
Easton Edwards
Hyrda Hormagaunt hordes with Caustic Blood looks nasty imo too.
Benjamin Phillips
Jormungr look a bit weird with the yellow/orange.
Juan Morris
Hydra are meh too.
Blake Anderson
Jormungr = Tau'nids
Cameron Nelson
2 minutes late We'll save this thread for later Until then:
Brayden Flores
Gorgon a best.
Isaiah Rivera
Good. People were bitching 8th ed. was turning into another shooting edition. I said we should wait until we saw an actual assault army get a codex and I'm glad to see GW gave Nids the tools to be scary as such an army.
Liam Nguyen
That one has no 40kg.
I found this one, not your shitty one, so how about YOU fuck off.
Levi Ward
Thousand Sons codex when? I've been holding off on buying models and I want them now!
Tyler Flores
I wish and hope december.
Anthony Wood
Best traitor legion by far
Dominic Collins
That's not Mortarion.
Hunter Mitchell

That one was a surprise though and complete shit, Jormugandr's not too great either in that iteration.
Lincoln Ward
Jesus fucking Christ
Adrian Nelson
Magnus is a giant red turd.
Mortarion is an autistic underachiever who has had 3 dads and hated all of them. Clearly he's the best.
Angel Wright
Oh hey are you that user that was asking about converting the DP in the WIP thread a few days back? Definitely worked out well but the the skin seems a bit dry & almost stone-like. Some Nurgle's Rot certainly couldn't go amiss either
Jonathan Hill
>His own first captain hated him >Doomed his entire legion because too weak to stand some suffering. >Basically a bitch now because Nurgle loves Typhus more than him
I bet he hates himself too
Asher Wilson
Can anyone identify the treads on this tank? A lot of it is scratch built, but they don't seem like they are.
Luke Perry
Honestly looks like remote control car treads.
Benjamin Rogers
Infestation nodes seem like a poor man's homing beacon.
William Barnes
Looks like oppressor pattern tank treads from the ebay user machinator248
Gabriel Anderson
Those seem to be it, thanks. Anyone bought from this guy before? His other stuff actually seems pretty interesting too, but I'm worried about quality.
Austin Rogers
What are good special/heavy weapons for Catachan infantry squads? I counter charge with them a lot but for 2-3 turns they sit there shooting. I have them with a boltgun and power sword at the moment.
Brody Lopez
I bought his spike strips, they were pretty OK but hard to remove from the sprue, but thats probably to be expected given the nature of the product. I haven't bought any of his treads or turrets though.
John Reed
What Eye-Color do Tau have / What color should I paint them?
Jason Russell
fuck off reeee, include 40kg next time
Brayden Bell
Top kek
Landon Rivera
He's wearing a helmet, why is the light hurting him?
Josiah Richardson
Its a lasgun
Hunter Nelson
Let's be real here lasguns aren't nearly that effective
Adrian Brown
Light sensitivity plus night vision gear.
Nolan Adams
Night Lords don't need night vision.
Jason Price
Guess he didn't get the memo.
Landon Lewis
That's....that's part of what preysight is...
Connor Price
What makes a good entourage for fabulous bill, I was thinking mutilators?
Charles Lopez
mutilators are ass
Colton Smith
Possessed
Connor Miller
>crushing claws still useless
Cooper Hill
Yes, but the human is fine without it
Dominic Cook
Are they? They looked pretty strong like obliterators.
Oh, because they have 2 wounds?
Asher Fisher
Sure, and they can be taken in decent squad sizes and benefit from melee buffs.
Jacob Hughes
I assume you footslog them in large squad sizes then?
Brayden Jenkins
sanguinary guard or terminators for a blood angel player?
Robert Brooks
leather clothing, lube and condoms
Aaron Gonzalez
>tfw the Megas have Left for dead and Down Amongst the Dead Men, the two short stories written about the Death Korps of Krieg, but not Dead Men Walking, the only full-length novel written about them.
This is suffering.
Cameron King
Today's Daily Duncan is how to paint the armour of one of the that'll most likely be in the Tau codex. Either that codex is soon or very far off in that case? Cause subfaction painting generally accompanies the codex release.
Brandon Lee
Their last book was such a cocktease at the end of the last edition. Hoping for a few new units as well - even if it's just the AoS stuff.
Ryder Myers
Sanguinary Guards if you want to play them with your warlord for the rerolls, Termies otherwise. I think SGs will become better once their gear gets a cost reduction.
Austin Scott
I hope it is soon, with necrons they are the most in need of a buff.
Andrew Russell
So one thing I am thinking...
Genestealer Cultists have the Tyranid keyword. I am imagining using some of the stratagems on them, since they can be in a separate detachment.
Sacea. Perfect for the occasional user who asks about painting that one.
Anthony Miller
I have the book in paper user. Now if only I knew where it was...
Ryan Jenkins
You better thank the Emperor before going to bed today...
Asher Evans
Thank you, user. You are truly a kind soul.
Joshua Richardson
Should i take dire avengers or wraiths as my main troops
Aaron Gonzalez
Necrons look outta luck for a long time
Aiden Cruz
Many, MANY times garbage. Can't help repair, made of paper, overtaxed guns with Guard BS at best. If you don't mind taking something else from the Skitarii list you could just take 5 Vanguard or Rangers with some plasma calivers, model them as cool combat servitors/Tech-Adepts and get WAY more use from them, or burn a CP to take an Electropriest escort and model them like my electroservitors. Could even make some Praetorians from Ogryn and use the Kataphron or Guard Bullgryn rules, although those are pretty damned high-class for an Enginseer.
Nolan Morris
How would I go about painting those armour plates? Which paints should I use?
Christian Reyes
What is a decent way to strip plastic without damaging it?
Ian Sanchez
>Own Guard and Necrons >Index Necrons are trash >Know that if I start painting Guard, Cron book will come out and I'll probably sell the Humies
Maybe I should just bite the bullet and become a Guard player instead. Will finally stop being a 2nd class GW citizen.
Dominic Gutierrez
...
Levi Carter
Just remember never to take firearms form and Ork.
The citadel butt plug is £5, a lot cheaper than I would have guessed.
Are you guys getting it?
Austin Hernandez
I'm buying my boy a fire raptor, because a spartan is a LoW and I don't want him to be called scum for cheesing one into a game. Am I being a good bro, or am I doing him wrong? I really wanted to buy him a Caestus, because I love the models and the fluff and he has cataphratii, but they have been sold out since forever. Also, is there any place that sells FW pieces for cheaper than their website that isn't a recaster? I don't play the game myself, and I know not the ways of sensible 40k pricing.
Tyler Young
First for the necrons.
Nathan Stewart
No I'm not interested in starting a dark angels collection
Jack Hughes
Probably, though I've moved onto pinning all muy new purchases by their feet.. I've thousands of points of grey Orks for before my conversion.
Brandon Flores
Denatured ethanol or "red ethanol". Buy a gallon from your local department store. It will not damage plastics, but is flammable and there's an explosion risk if you don't properly seal the container, but it's not dangerous unless you inhale or digest large quantities of the stuff
John Powell
It's not. Anons were using at as proof that it's a specific anti-daemon adaptation. It wasn't.
Liam Allen
Price is okay, probably will.
Matthew Jackson
Depends, if it's cheap and easy to break then no.
Justin Perez
Huuuuuuue
Have a (You), ya sassy bastard
Levi Morris
>Are you guys getting it? This is up there with the moldline remover in terms of pointlessness, so no
Leo James
>form and ork i think its time to put daddy emps in an old people's home
Camden Gutierrez
It looks like steel pins, so it might actually be able to take some force.
