There are a lot of people who need someone out there. I would use some of your gains to make yourself comfortable and if you live in a major US city look into getting involved with the Big Brothers or Boys and Girls club.
You may find that helping someone in need may be beneficial to you as well.
I don't know what I would do if I lost my parents, but I promise you can be an important part of someone's life and make a real difference if you keep earning and put the free time it affords you to good use.
