That explains why 90% of Veeky Forums was quest threads.

It was more like 80% and honestly, it was a detriment to discussion other than generals surviving. Every time some SUPER HAREM QUEST 59 popped up it'd kill a thread that no one probably saw because quests absolutely devoured the front page and half of the catalog. People like quests on Veeky Forums, but it consumed the board, and the move to /qst/ was a good one. This is mostly in reply to than what you had to say to the kill yourself guy. It's not a matter of liking it, it's a matter of what Veeky Forums really was. Was it a quest dump or a discussion for traditional games? And the answer is clear.

I would imagine that Veeky Forums district hits this weird, comfy middle ground of middle-class consumerism with just enough hints of magic-like things keeping it afloat (some mix of fantasy, sci-fi, cyberpunk, and psionic) to the point where they eventually get asked to be the "middleman" between two other board districts when goods or deals need to exchange hands.

And for some reason, the landscape/architecture in Veeky Forums district is always weirdly pristine, even if it looks like a shit hole slum.

I don't know how the /int/ district would function. The entire board exists to shitpost about other countries, but now that they all share one city it could go one of two ways:

/int/ would tear itself apart based on previous nationality and make a load of smaller districts separate from each other.

The district would unite in shitposting about other boards instead of focusing on nationality.
