Believe it or not edgy drama simulators are kind of what the games aim to be. The existence of the supernatural stuff being kept secret is the core premise to the setting. What if all this stuff was real, going on right under your nose? What if there was a secret World of Darkness going on in the modern day? If the supernatural wasn't kept secret, that would fall apart pretty fast and the games would become a discount Shadowrun or some shit.

Gonna be completely honest, I just don't enjoy being around or interacting with anyone who believes they are animal or a fantasy thing and seem to overwhelming find an outlet for that mental disorder in extravagantly degenerate sexual fetishes.

I don't want to be around them, play games with them, or associate with them. All that said I obviously have no inherent problem with roleplaying so long as everyone involved is capable of distinguishing the roleplay from reality and so long as nobody injects their horrible fetishes into a non-fetish game. The only reason people hate furfags and otherkin and other weird shit is because they have this unpleasant habit of having to show off their sexual kinks in obnoxious ways and most people who aren't maladjusted don't like that.

Furries, otherkin, and whatever the fuck else they call themselves, aren't bad by virtue of their fetish. They're bad by virtue of the shit associated with their fetish. They're bad because of that babyfur pasta that went around, and watching gay furry porn of any animated character ever created for no reason. They're bad because now you can't google "sonic the hedgehog" without wordfilters. They're bad because they're screaming petulant children who will shit on everything until they get what they want.

And then I realized that people are literally protesting right now for these people... Fuck man the only reason we were so hostile towards them was that in some fucked up way we hoped they'd realize they're fucked and rethink their lives. Instead, they became more entrenched in their nonsense, and people started pitying them.

I've played with several furries and one full blown otherkin.

They were all pleasant, polite, friendly people who made interesting and likable characters, were skilled and considerate roleplayers and were really energetic about the game and story.

Some of the best players I've ever shared a campaign with have been furries, and while I've had a few campaigns get fucked up because of drama, it's never been because of any level of 'furfaggotry'.

So they're pretty cool by me.

Besides, long experience has shown me that on Veeky Forums, people bitching about furries are a lot more annoying than actual furries ever are.
