First for Loyalists.

1rd for chaos

I heard someone talking about an eldar and necron christmas sets in an earlier 40kg
is this baseless rumors or has more been revealed?

>threadwarring
Fuck off

not this stupid shit again

...but thats just the old thread, mate...

For a 5 guys strong unit, Heavy Hellblasters or Assault Hellblasters?

>Want to run a Cataphractii Terminator list.
>They're slow as shit.

They'll be good the turn they drop in but after that, everyone can out run them unless I do a Land Raider heavy list which reduces Terminator Potential

You fucking idiots.

Well spotted, pretty sure that was his joke.

They sitting still or not? Heavy is stupid good at killing almost anything, especially with a Captain and/or Salamander Trait.

Times where your opponent fucked you over because they didn't know their own dex properly
>playing against nids yesterday as Grey Knights
>cast smite
>roll a 4
>4+1 from the chapter tactic=5, so it should have passed
>however, he claims that SitW subtracts 1 from it and as such it fails
>and due to his warlord trait I take d3 mortal wounds
>so my Apothecary takes 3 MW, fine
>next day, nid dex pdf is out, download it
>realize that none of the models on the table at the time even had SitW
>tell him this, he claims that OOE has SitW (he doesn't)
>point him to his own dex
>mfw I was 1 wound away from killing OOE (his warlord) and that smite would have given him 1MW and also not damaged my apothecary to a point where he died the next turn
Fuckin hell

Newbie here, want to start a Death Guard army. Any advice on how to use them? Also, any advice how to counter them? (so I know what other ppl could play against me)
Thanks in advance

>realize that none of the models on the table at the time even had SitW
How the hell was he playing without synapse psykers? Pure Warriors or something like that?

your joke was bad

I killed his Hive Tyrant and Broodlord the turn before. I don't even think he accounted for Instinctive Behavior too.

yes, they sit still having beers and talking about sister's asses, and when they see something at 30"+ they stand up fire a bit and go back to drinking.
I'll go heavy, thanks.

I can't stand being tricked in a friendly game, either.

he actually made it retard

Hey so I can get pic related as a trade for some Eldar I have, or I can get 120 bucks. He doesn't want to do 30k anymore so he's happy to sell it off, only problem is I don't really want it either. Pic related has

>20 tactical marines
>5 Marines with flamers
>5 Marines with meltaguns
>BaC dread converted with different head and two assault cannons
>5 grave warden terminators
>5 tartaros terminators
>2 quad launchers with crew
>set of power scythes
>most all primed, some painted

Like I said, I don't really want them but it's a steal to get it all. So what should I do? Maybe post in /Hhg/ and see if one of the anons there want to buy it?

>Playing against unreleased codex's.

/hhg/ is probably a better idea. 120 dollars for all this? Good deal.

So I just realized Tyranids don't get ObSec troops.

It was released yesterday where I live.

go for it, I say.

>what is "extensions of the hive mind" rule

Where is that at? Didn't see it in the army wide rules

You had one fucking job you heretic.

why does Necromunda get saddled with quarterly releases while Shadespire gets loads of shit released for it

How well would recasting whole models in pewter go?
I know I saw some user casting Mark VI helmets several months back.

Why is he in denial?

Page 116, I think, next to the hive fleet adaptations

Because Shitspire is a forced meme that nobody cares about so GW is propping it up, while Necromunda sells itself.

Because shadespire is monopose Snapfit miniatures made by the main studio, so they're easier to produce.

duncan playlist still broken

>Harpy vs. Hive Crone
I found the Harpy pretty brutal; she fights & shoots like shit, but those mortal wounds wreck ass on hordes & elite infantry. She can also rock two Heafy Venom Cannons, which are really good now.

OP here. I read your comment in the other thread, I vowed to fix it, but forgot to do it. Im sorry.

Because he is hypocrite faggot.

他にも大勢居る気がするが?日本じゃ日常茶飯事みたいなだが

>what are turns?

“Turns” are player turns; when both players have taken a turn, that completes a “battle round.”

So does anyone have the Necromunda books scanned yet?

Has anyone here run all terminator armies, or used terminators in general, and, if so, how have they worked out?

Are Brotherhood/Paladin Ancients worth it in a Paladin heavy GK list? I have three squads, but I imagine a second Apothecary or hell, a second Doomglaive would be far more worth the points.

Paladin Ancients are quite good in tandem with Paladins themselves. 4 attacks is nothing to scoff at.

I've ran 15 terminators and Tyberos a few times, works pretty well.

I brought 20 scarab occult while the changeling escorted 5 daemon princes

They're okay

ve they struggled?
Foot slogging, dropping in, or in Transports?
What versions and where, if anywhere, have they struggled.

Too expensive for what they do or too slow?

Paladin Ancient - 142pts
Doomglaive - 168pts
Thats a tough sell man.

Serious question. What do Chaos space marines do on their downtime? Do Chaos space marines have funerals?Do they have friends? Are they just emotionless losers who yell about killing?

I said they worked pretty well, didn't say a damn thing about struggling.

Has Battlescribe updated with the new nid costs?

Doomglaives aren't even that good. If you're the Puriifer user, I suggest you take a Las missile ven dread, give him Astral Aim and hide him out of line of sight for a 2+ twin linked ascannon + krak missile that can shoot everything on the table and ignore cover.

I just deepstruck them and let them fire their rending bolters nonstop, they do work
But they are not objective cappers

Which Tyranid species would be best Waifu?

But they're so cool! And that heavy psycannon is good for a hybrid dread. I mostly wanted them because they were cheap as chips for the job and looked pretty snazzy too. But your idea is good too. It'd be good to have support for the landraider.

So just doing good all around the board?
They assaults or Traditional Termies?

it's been revealed to have been baseless rumors
christmass boxes are orks , genestealers, guard and t'au

Genestealer.

Zoanthrope.

khorne guys probably keep fighting themselves while screeching like retards, nurgle ones are having gigantic thrumpets parties with nurglins get squashed by laughing idiots with decaying everything, slaneesh ones act like they enjoy listening to music or cutting themselves or stabbing drugs to fall on the ground with stupid smiles and foam in their mouths, and tzheenchi ones.. well, they are dust so not much to do.

All this while clearly being emotionless losers.

Ripper
>ywn have a swarm of hundreds of carnivorous chitin encrusted qts that act like a single organism swarming all over your nether regions
why even life

Slaanesh and Nurgle marines enjoy themselves, Nurgle in contentment and Slaanesh in excessive joy.
Fucking retard.

Genestealer. The only option, really, considering that a genestealer as part of a genestealer cult you belong to is the only Tyranid who isn't going to maul and eat you.

You have a lot of options. What do you want to do? What do you like?

Okay but couldn't they just have drawn a line between the Cryptid "Old One Eye" and the biomorph "Alpha Carnifex"?

woah buddy sorry I offended your toys.

> asking to play with Hodge podge of rules from leaks
> agreeing to his retardation
(You) are both fucking idiots

OP you missed putting /40kg/ in the post.
Now it's a pain to find on the catalog.

But what if I want a harridan waifu?

>He can't just type "warh" which will always be somewhere in the op regardless of title

my "Veeky Forums.org/tg/40k" bookmark took me here with no problems

Best waifu is always a waifu that wants you inside it.

Depends on how chaos-y we're talking. Due to the subjective nature of 40k lore, a lot of traitors are instantly considered to be chaos servants. Fallen for example, probably do the same stuff Dark Angels do, only in hiding. The Red Corsairs probably have some hirarchy and structure still, and partake in training, but they're obviously more brute and probably lead a livestyle more similar to that of the space wolves, only with a pirate motif rather than viking/wolf. Once we get to the most corrupted chapters, like the Word Bearers, there probably isn't going to be much aside from either infighting or impatiently waiting to get to a place to fight at. Since they're so intensely tainted by the warp, they probably don't sleep, eat, or maybe even breathe anymore.

> Jap
Just say no kids

Pretty sure OOE is the same case as the Swarmlord.

What chapter tactic is best for a Hierodule?

If you type 40k it shows up due to the website link(along with other threads) but if you do 40kg it only shows the last thread.

That's a hotdog down a hallway problem if I've ever seen one.

Played in a local tournament yesterday Veeky Forums - 2000 points, took my Eldar. Went 3-0, very pleased with the new codex.

My list has 10 paladins armed to the gills supported by dreadknights and interceptors. They hit pretty hard and they are pretty fun to use over all.

Why do you ask?

1: Swarmlord is a synapse creature, it makes sense that his mind would be preserved as part of the hive mind. Old One Eye is just a dumb beast without synapse pulling his strings.

2: Why do his new bodies on other worlds carry the same wounds?

I would reccomend you change it to 40k if you also enjoy /wip/ and /40krpg/

Because Old One Eye is a cooler name. That's the only reason. Fluff-wise, you could argue that what you are fielding is just the same type of carnifex as OOE, e.g. one with ridiculous regenerative abilities, and the oppoent mistakes it for OOE. This would explain why he can be taken by any hive fleet.

The same goes for the Swarmlord, who's really just a Hive Tyrant with special weapons and command capability or the Red Terror, who is a miniature Mawloc/Vore fetishist's Ravener.

It just works damn it!

Being a Word Bearer sounds both boring and shitty.

>Hierodule
>Chapter tactic

I've got my 2k list going that does well against lists not built for hardcore tourneys/LOWs and I'm now starting to think about doing a silly first company list and debating how hard hitting an all termy list would be.

6+ shrug.

OOE is a pseudo-synapse beast that seems to have evolved an individual persona like that of the Swarmlord or Deathleaper.

>Transport capacity 20 gargoyles

I'd say I can produce around that much biomass.

So why can't you field multiple of these things in one fleet?

>being a chaosfag sucks
no surprise, yeah.

Word Bearers spend their spare time living pious lives as warrior monks of the dark gods. Usually this involves human sacrifices, orgies, and reading and meditating upon unholy scriptures.

Same reason why you can't field more than one Swarmlord.

How is this as a 1500 points "welcome back ya grot" list? Me and my group have decided to try to come back to 40k and we would like to throw some dice. Normally I wouldn't even think about a Stompa at 1500, but since they have all stopped in 5th (I stopped in 6th) their armies tend to have melta out the ass. Primary adversaries are meltaspam mech Sisters (surprisingly, we have two of those), all kinds and flavours of marines, one blob guard, one mech guard and one chaos, who only likes Khorne.

???

That's what you get for following the worst primarch.

Yes, just update your data.

They’re warrior monks who may be more or less religious, so they may make obeisances to their gods, train, or engage in plotting to gain power.

The cryptid Carnifex had a biocannon and no mention of a missing eye, it could have just been an Alpha carnifex emulating OOE the same way Neurothropes are the spawn of Doom of malan’ti. It was very intelligent for a carnifex and had ridiculous regeneration abilities.
If the beast of tartaros was in fact old one eye, that goes to show Tyranid “special characters” are customizable, at least in the fluff.
