I agree most with Adam's methods of mechanics supporting narrative, to the point where mechanizing narrative is awesome to me. The majority of the world making I do is interpreting the results of tables. The ideal is having a large world that I as DM don't know the majority of what's in it.

I used to agree with that until I got into OSR stuff and (especially) reading Zak Sabbath's blog.

Really? I read Zak's blog and its a huge inspiraton for me.

I think it was the post about Call of Cthulhu and how the sanity mechanics are only like half a page or something yet are the focus of the game. I also used to be really into mechanized narrative stuff (mostly BWHQ and a little bit of PBtA) but I haven't had the right players for them. I think it's fun to listen/read both Adam and Zak because to me they're almost polar opposites.

I agree with that, it's great to challenge each of their methods to find something that works for you.

I think my GM is the best GM! He is very creative and makes good adventures for me and my friends.
