How is this?

How is this?

I got it yesterday, I hope it gets popular.

It's gud

I wonder how long it will take before GW abandons it?

Fuck... shut up. I hope not, it already had a big-ish community on facebook groups.

Great. Super fun 4 player. It's a really big hit at my local store, it needs more warbands though.

Also the orc leader is ridiculous when inspired and can reroll his two attack dice for 3 damage. I learned earlier that he must either be taken off the field first or avoided at all costs.

Is this the fixed version of AoS?

Fun and quick, and gives me a skirmish fix.

I really like it from a conceptual standpoint, fixed, low count warband members means not having to buy and paint a million guys to represent every possible permutation of equipment every time you want to change your team up a little, but the deck building is still there to make your team actually feel like yours. I would have liked it a lot more if the posterboys for it weren't stormcast and khorne, and if they weren't also getting two warbands each in the first 8, but at least the second khorne band has a little more variety and all the other bands so far have great looking models.

models are awesome, even the stormcast aren't that bad, not had a chance to play any games yet but seems like it's going to be easy to pick up and play but with enough deckbuilding variety to stay fresh for a whiel

Turns out, it's pretty good.

Not the best game evah, but pretty good.

Hows the mix of dice and card play?

I have 2 co workers who id love to get into warhammer, but they are avid MtG players

Have you played Star Wars Destiny? The dice and cards work better in Shadespire than in Destiny. The best word to describe it is "tight" but none of the cards feel OP. Its really well balanced probably because the dice feel random, but the cards don't.

It's X-wing with X-wing special dices (which means you have to buy the starter, even if you don't like starter warbands), but with GW prices and rules.

They sell the set of dice for like 15 leaf-bucks

>Fuck... shut up.
It will happen, just like all previous GW new specialists games.
>it already had a big-ish community on facebook groups.
So what? Are you GW smm-guy who mwking web-comics for them?

Has anyone else noticed the armaments of the Skaven models?

One has two swords.
Another has fighting claws, which are grappling weapons that are used to stab and slice as well.
Another has a spear, which as we all know is a polearm.
And the last non-commander one has a flail that looks like a nunchuk.

It appears from this that we have the Teenage Mutant Ninja Skaven.

Gets boring after 10+ plays, needs expansions (especially boards) to increase replayability. Honestly, even then I think I might sell my stuff for it after a few months

It's a great game. Replayability increases exponentially with expansions.

>It's X-wing with X-wing special dices (which means you have to buy the starter, even if you don't like starter warbands), but with GW prices and rules.

>They sell the set of dice for like 15 leaf-bucks

Actually you are both right.
You don't need the starter box to "play".
But to play competitively you basically need every expansion to get the best cards for your deck.

Anyway, it's a great game, so why wouldn't you want to get everything?

Get it, great boardgame. Arena combat skirmish, a little mtg and aos rolled in one.

All I want to know is when the fuck are they going to be released. Feels like they got teased ages ago and they're not up for preorder yet.

Eh... they were teased a week or so ago.

One of their tails was a Rumour Engine, so I don't blame him.

>, it's a great game
Nope.
Also it's overpriced for it's quality.

>I'm here to tell you that one of you isn't planning on betraying me.
