How do you use your Neoterra Bolt link squads lads?

Is a Domaru Butai Fireteam:Duo just a waste of time in vanilla?

We don't.

Send 'em up the board, kill stuff with spitfire, do objectives, remove enemy bullshit from midfield and replace with own bullshit. There's pretty much no other way to play them.

I've never seen duo used well in vanilla

Why? I'm considering purchasing them soon because I love the models and they seem like pretty decent medium infantry.
Shotguns, specialists and spitfire sound good.

They have a rather strange reputation around these parts, and are frequently the topic of fierce shitposting fights. Mostly this is because they're admittedly mediocre toolbox troops in an army based around being direct and smashy and played by spoilt whiny bitches. They can work well though, you just have to know how to use them properly.

HSN3 really hurt them though by introducing so much competition, they could use an update desu.

How often does CB update models? And what would be the improvement needed?

God damn. I might just buy them to paint, the models are amazing.

>How often does CB update models?
Every time there's a new book. Next one is scheduled for next year, Bolts may or may not make it in. They were listed in the original N3 book, but they're such an obvious candidate for the new three-man haris links that they may end up in this one as well.

>And what would be the improvement needed?
They need better tools for their toolbox. Cheaper drop bears, maybe deployable repeaters or some fancy mines, direct templates, a grenade launcher, etc.
Basically things to make them better at their job and easier to justify over just taking some Locusts.
I proposed a fix profile a while ago, but I'm not sure if I should keep posting the same shit over and over.

>How do you use your Neoterra Bolt link squads
>buy Bolts
>use Bolts
Heh. Funny guy.

as a new player I can't decide between Panoceania or Yu Jing. I've been told by several players than PanO is very hard for newbies and that I should stay away from it.

They're full of shit. PanO and YJ are both perfectly fine factions for beginners. Only one I'd avoid is Tohaa.

PanO is the most newbie-friendly faction. YJ has more tricky rules, but it's not hard too.

Nah you'll be fine. One problem might be that PanO is full of crybaby faggots and you might get shit by association. Just roll your eyes and ignore them. Also paint them something other than Boring Blue.

I'm hoping they don't fuck up the pose on it. I like the new model design concept. Plan on downsizing so I only own USAriadna, Tohaa, Nomads, and CA. The new Avatar sold me as well sans MULTI HMG on the model.

Damn, that's such a massive improvement. Still not a fan of the tiny dumb head, but taking off the gun really does wonders for that model.

PanO is the most straightforward shit. You shoot shit, and you shoot better than everyone else.

Wow, what a huge improvement.

Nice!

Fixing Drop Bear price and taking away LSGs from basic Combi dudes would literally fix them just like that.

The BSG profile is already pretty good because of E/M Grenades and the Hacker also has one, so you're likely to have a proper Shotgun in a Bolt link every time anyway. There's no need for the other guys to pay 4pts extra for an inferior one.

That would help make the link cheaper, but not really much better in its actual role. Maybe I'm just spiteful but I'd rather expand on the unconventional fuckery they're based around than just submit to the basic NCA whining desu.

Did somebody say "shit up the midfield"?

I'm thinking of dropping the tail too.

The new designs for CA are pretty legit. I've had no complaints.

Tbh I don't understand why resculpting them. The old minis looked rad and not really outdated, not as much as other miniatures anyway

This is a pretty good month

Model isn't needed, but too good not to get for me.

Kanren qt is probably best model this month. Well, bearing in mind I'm not a fan of mecha and TAGs.

No Avatar this month?

Why can't Father Knights lead MO link teams? :(

You mean Magisters or Order Sergeants? I'd like them to mix with Order Sergeants, dunno about Magisters.

It's available to preorder should be arriving by end of this month/early next month

Both would be pretty cool and give them a place to fit lists easily.

Yeah, kinda. It's an expensive thing with the EVO hacker, doesn't do button pushing missions, isn't all that much survivable, and the lack of impetuousness isn't that much of a benefit to a Domaru as the chain rifle one is pretty decent at coming around and guarding corners. You can likely find some success, but in Yu Jing you're better off with a Tiger Soldier or something else at the price point.

One's good enough in Vanilla. 25 points, E/M weapons, and assault is a decent close quarters platform to take care of heavies.

The Haramaki would more often find itself sneaking into my Generic lists, because of door busting missions it can efficiently break things with its anti-materiel trait.

You could just start JSA though. Domaru really are very fun to paint.

I just spent $100 to bring a bunch of new Haqqs into my home. I guess /pol/ was right about the Islamic immigrants.

>I'm tempted to start Haqqislam, but I can't stand their attempts at destroying Europe.

Ahh cool. Thanks!

...

Looking at the background, that looks more like Asia.

It's totarry Europe, honest prease!

Miniature Market has them for preorder in addition to Infinity's webstore.

>huge
You guy that right

Avatar is November Release. Those are December

The old minis don't have HMG, Marksman Rifle, or female Druze. Honestly, I'm kinda hoping for new KTS and Sekban. Yes, they're all solid minis and it isn't necessary, but I'd love updated/larger sculpt.

They're updating their profiles, including giving them weapons they never had. We had a preview of the changes with the Outrage missions.

How tall is Tarik Supposed to be IRL*, like 2 meters?

>open faceplates everywhere
Ugh...
Why, they are such nice sculpts otherwise!

Taller than an average PanOtlet.

Ok, my assembled shaolin monks and domaru have been lost leaving me only two monks and 2 domaru. As consolation I'm buying minis.
I'm thinking Hac Tao, Shikami, or Yan Hao, but I already have a Hsien and a Zuyong (i love him and wanna buy the other sculpt too.) and 2 domaru.
Also according to most of the info I'm finding, I really should pony up for a remote box.

Anyone wanna stop me from buying a bunch more Heavy Infantry that aren't really gonna win any games? Are both remote boxes necessary? I understand I need to field a hacker to field remotes, would a killer hacker in Hidden Deployment work for that or do I need one on the field? Do assault hackers work? I frequently field Aragoto assault hacker as a specialist. I don't really like any of Yu Jings basic hacking devices. Fuck Zhanshi hackers. I own 3 zhanshi and they aren't even linkable in sectorals. I don't see a reason to pony up for the other zhanshi box for a hacker.

I also wanna pick up the other tiger soldier minis, but really need to strip and properly paint my tiger soldier that I already have.

Tarik Mansuri is as great or small as Allah requires. Game balance requires he clock about 3 meters lest he be even harder to kill. 2 meters sounds about right.

>Anyone wanna stop me from buying a bunch more Heavy Infantry that aren't really gonna win any games?
No, because HI links are a thing and Domaki (Domaru+Haramaki) core, Wu Ming+Zhanying core, Karakuri haris, and Su Jian duo are all decent options if you need to hit something with a heavy object until it stops moving.

>Are both remote boxes necessary?
Neither is strictly necessary, but both are useful. If I had to choose I'd go Yaoxie, because they're a source of cheap MSV, the only MSV option in JSA, and great hunter drones. The Yaokong box has a great area-control tool (Husong) and a fast versatile specialist in the Weibing.

>I understand I need to field a hacker to field remotes, would a killer hacker in Hidden Deployment work for that
Yes it would.

>Do assault hackers work?
Yes.

>I don't really like any of Yu Jings basic hacking devices. Fuck Zhanshi hackers.
If you want a basic HD, get a Celestial Guard hacker. +1 WIP, +3 BTS, not much more expensive.

>Anyone wanna stop me from buying a bunch more Heavy Infantry that aren't really gonna win any games?
Have you painted any of the things you assembled?
Don't buy new stuff until you painted everything you own.

not having against the druze, the models are nice. But do people actually use them? they are merc and merc armies are maybe house rule allowed to be used. Or am I missing something in them getting a 4man box. My gaming expiriance is limited to playing ISS.

why would you have to paint models to play? I tried to paint some of my models, they came out shit, now am playing full metal. It even helps sometimes as opponents may confuse models between each other.

Druze are available to Haqq and Qapu Khalki. My friend plays them in Duo in QK sometimes.

Shamefur dispray.

Useful for proxies for anything outside haqq. Useful for this its season too i guess.

The correct way to run the Taskmaster models is use the HMG as the red fury and the red fury/rocket box as the rocket launcher yeah? Maybe I'll bust out the magnets.

If you want to make an ITS only-merc list, qapu khalki full of druze, bashi bazouks and kaplans make it an actually a viable force

(You)

Weapon swap the HMG for the Red fury, the other is HRL+tactical rage fist.

I'll just post this here:

The "Virgin" Khawarij vs the "Chad" Khawarij Amir

I cannot wait for the moment this meme finally dies.
Though I guess that is one of the better versions.

They threw together a Druze Merc sectorial for the Outrage missions, so if you wanted to play that you'd want a bunch. Don't think it's tourney-legal though.

It's definitely past its prime, but I'm always late in the meme-making party because I generally allocate effort to actual hobbying.

>How tall is Tarik Supposed to be IRL*, like 2 meters?

He's as big as Fasid (S5), so he's roughtly 2.3 meters.

2.5 meters and above are TAGs and Dogfaces teritory.

I've painted all of my Yu Jing besides my Guija that I got as a gift.

I haven't painted some my nomads but those were impulse buys who I've sworn off playing until I can win a game or two as Yu Jing.

Wu ming links are a thing and Hakamari are a thing, but I don't like hakamari. But the link I want is Zuyong links. I love terracotta soldiers.
What I meant by not buying more heavys is that I have a zuyong, Hsien, and Domarus who are already fighting for space in my list, and I am wary of being blinded by cool shit. I already bought Domaru, and Aragoto for my cool shit quota, and there is no way I can run Shikami, and Hac Tao, and Hsien.
Remotes seemed like a viable way to get a few orders into my list without really having to undercut Hsien or Zuyong. Hac Tao and Shikami would let me change up the type of list I'm running, but I'm not convinced it would help my play. And my favorite Yan Hao is the twin rocket launcher guy (a lot of points for an ARO piece.)

I think I'm just insecure about buying more infinity stuff when I don't really play well with the stuff I have.

I've had Veeky Forums comment on my list before.
EwBgjAPgzCIQKgCwKYAIAKyD2AHANsgM6oASAlgC4XIBOhEAnAKRhTBMAsA7CEwITBmYAKzthHAGz9gUsB2ajmfDi2BdOwABz8oqqR2C6+Ydq2FMtHcwNnymwqGH5OTKjiG3HVbkEpfAfdgABVhYofQZeY11WCKjQ2M5IpiCgoA=
I'm not convinced shikami and hac tao will help me. They will just look super DANK! Cheap remote orders might help me do better work with the models I already have.

Found my new Kaplan

>PanO
>Not newbie-friendly

I am a PanO player, and I can tell you those players are full of shit. They are most newbie-friendly and are usually forgiving when you make mistakes. Just note that you have very little tricks compared to most factions and want to keep your distance before going for objectives.

glad they kept her most distinguishing feature

No real need for Magisters to get them, they've already got 2 hopefully 3 with the next book troopso that link with them. A Father Knight joining an OS core or haris link would be great though, it'd make both units more appealing.

That new Neema is ace. Way better than her original sculpt.

original was ass, mainly just the pose. they should both get booty l3

I did a head swap with Spec Ops model. Didn't turn out bad, but those new one indeed does have the better pose. It's crisp and clean as well.

Is there any fluff on weapon manufactures? I noticed they seem to be using the Nomad HMG.

Everyone (Except old Daturazi and the hungries) are using the Yu Jing Yungang Type 9.0 Chain Rifle.

Plus there's this bit on Chain Rifles by Bostria on the Spanish Forums.

It's too long for one post here, but worth the read.

But user, that pic clearly shows she does have booty l3

Does anyone have a pdf of Paradiso N2?

Mother of ass

I'm not into Tohaa usually, but she can be my Grrrl any day

excellent, thanks for posting. nice to know my ghazis were killing people with vacuums

That is fucking amazing. It literally fires a chain, or a fork(s) or an anything else. Thats Yu Jing makes why Kuang Shi and Domaru use them.

Kum bikers do drive bys that actually shoot broken glass and meth needles.

Thick

Are the Dats and Hungries using CA Space Vacuums?

Never seen one. Any part in particular you wanted to look at?

Campaign rules and how they did gaining xp between missions. I want to write a custom campaign for my playgroup.

Colt annoys it's a hand cannon a revolver a six shooter, I wish there were rules to go with it

>how they did gaining xp between missions
One XP per Objective Point. Spending them is quite complicated, and my scanner doesn't like books, though.

The RPG has some. Apparently Nomad weapons are all actually PanO designs.
Druze are mercs, so they use whatever. Some have PanO combis, some Nomad, some YJ.

should I buy models just because they are cool even if they are not an army I collect or play?

That feel when no alien spec op waifu to sit on my face.

volafile org/r/eq1ha19r

No, because with Infinity there's no end to that rabbit hole.

>.djvu
Now there's a file type I've not seen for a long time.

Yes, because with Infinity there's no end to that rabbit hole.

Dat symbiont

Yeah how the fuck do I open this

take the red pill
