first for dorn

your dudes > dudes my

your dudes < send nudes

First for Carnac is at work, post why nids are better than Chaos

Duncan's normally steady hand looks very awkward trying to use the Citadel water pot.

Nids are better at diying.

Worst Codex army right now?

Grey knights.

Spat tea everywhere 10/10

I just bought a start collecting SM box, can somebody who uses venerable Dreadnoughts give me a run down on how I should kit/use this thing?

How do we fix Grey Knights and make them a more viable army?

They're pretty strong against Daemons

Release 9th edition.

Whats the next primarch?

Anyone got any tips for dealing with a vindicare assassin?

Got a small tournament this week and 2nd place will be close between me with CSM and Deamons vs my buddy with templars plus the assassin dude.

All I can think to do is smite spam but apart from 1 jump sorcerer my other psykers are foots logging it.

The Lion.

Wait until the assassin is deployed, then hide yo characters.

Purt

>vindicare assassin
Ignore it, its waste of points

Allow them to move D6" after any form of teleport.

Fulgrim, Angron then finished hopefully

How tall are Nurglings? 1 foot?

Well, which one is it?

>one loyalist and 4 chaos
Come on this is GW we are talking about they need to get those marine bucks.

This is what I'm leaning towards atm but most of my units rely on the HQs for buffs. My army is a lot weaker without the synergy so I'll either have to hold back which is not the play style of my list or just push on and bring my HQs out once I've dispatched the assassin.

As above my list is hugely dependent on my HQs plus it's an easy VP for him for slay the warlord. Probably an error in my list to rely on the HQs so much but too late to change it now.

>high cost, low model count army is strong vs one of the strongest armies in the game right now which spams 2 point 4++ ld10 units

r u high

What's the leadership 10?

12'9"

>easy VP for him for slay the warlord

if he has a vindicare just leave the hq out of line of sight, if you cant do that you just need to realise that a vindicare needs at minimum two turns of shooting to kill you, which is more than enough time for you to deal enough damage to the point where it wont matter

big bird gives all tzeentch units leadership 10, brimstones ate tzeench units

Ferrus Manus

>Carnac
>work
He's the archetypal no-life fat NEET who never leaves his moms basement.

Scrap the current Codex, take the daemonhunters codex and start over using that as a base

Ahh, I forgot about the bird. I usually just see the changeling give them the -1 to hit.

nah they've still got a lot of plot rope to go with Guilliman. I expect them to go full Jesus mode with him
The 4 Daemon Primarchs have existed in game before (even if it was Epic) so there's a precedent for them wandering about and they have established lore and art to work off of.

>As above my list is hugely dependent on my HQs plus it's an easy VP for him for slay the warlord.
He'll spend the entire game trying and probably not even succeed.
It's a trash unit that doesn't need to be worried about.
If you're irrationally afraid of it, then hide people out of sight if they're in danger.

An additional attack.

Grey Knights

yeah changling is a staple, bigbird is a potent addition though

This

But there would be no shekels for them. And you know how much GW love shekels.

allow them to deepstrike 6" away, if you can reliably get dreadknights and strike teams into combat thier damage output for their low model count wouldnt be so bad

He mainly posts at about 7/8am britbong time so I assume he shitposts on his commute to work because thats when I shitpost.

Brimstones are 3 points

Both lost legions, Including Samuias Metroidicka, the only female daughter of the emperor, that was sent into a super secret mission and branded forgothen in a similar fashion to the BOSS from metal gear solid 3 kinda shit.

This is a cool idea.
I'd love to see a return of the shrouding, that ability seemed pretty cool.
Thats a good idea too.

IMO they should also remove the minismite rule from the characters. Let our Grandmasters, Librarians and Brothercaptains do their normal D3 18" smite, but leave the normal units with the weaker 12" 1 D smite

I expected it to be Lion, which still might be a possibility but it's looking just a little less likely with BA and DA releasing together and so soon while we still haven't seen any leaks.

If it's not Lion it's clearly Russ as Space Wolves are out next year.

ah yeah my bad, forgot about the FAQ

so you have a 3 point 4++ -1 to hit ld 10 chaff unit

I reiterate my point that the person saying GK are good vs daemons is high

Does anyone have an epub of Devastation of Baal?

Are GSC in the nids codex or are they getting their own codex next year?

getting their own

Separate Codex, this is very old news dude try and keep up. I mean fuck you could have just downloaded the nid Codex and looked yourself.

>Russ will be back
*howls loudly
FUCK YEAHS!!!
The executioner is back, my primarch!
*howls

What are you working on?
I finally started working on my Knight.

An edition pass before I even open the damn thing

to be fair I've not actually played against anyone who just spams horrors. I have however roflstomped KdK and mixed daemon armies (won 4 out of 4 games with only one making it to turn 5)

Nice false flagging bait, retard

>want to paint army
>don't have clue about colors and combos
>all the shown colors in army book look meh
>need to come up with a new color combo without experience
What do, anons? Is there an app to fiddle aroubd with colors ir something?

They're also better at spelling.

I legit wanted to howl to tell the truth.

They should might as well finish Cypher's storyline.

Another question for you, my GK bro's.

How do we fix the internal balance issue of Paladins/Terminators and Strikes/Purifiers?

My suggestions:
>Terminators cost 35 PPM including the storm bolter

>Purifiers get a second attack
>Purifiers get the teleport strike rule

>1st for Dorn
>excellent digits
Everything's coming up loyal

They're doing pretty well right now, why blow your load early?
Russ Lion and Khan are being all Arthurian, they can't very well return while Best boy is saving the Imperium

Finish this drawing already

yeah what's up with that? he escaped from jail 100 year before [current in game year] has he just settled down on Terra?

Also, forgot to add:
>Terminators and Paladins get a special rule that lets them ignore penalties for moving and shooting heavy weapons

I'm starting to feel like "35ppm" is a meme in and of itself when everyone who tries to balance things just goes "uuh 35ppm"

Because I need my primarch ok ?

And last time I checked, Imperium still pretty fucked with Great Rift that torns the galaxy in half, the Daemon Primarchs wreaking havoc everywhere, despite Guilliman really tried his best.

Any predictions for Necron dynasty traits?

Keep dreaming, scum

>Sautekh : +1 to wound buildings. Ignore cover saves :^)

re-roll failed to wound rolls against buildings

Get the fuck out Chaos cuck.

Nah, that looks more like a 2cp stratagem for a single unit :^)

Didnt mean it as a meme, though, its a perfect fit for balancing Terminators/Paladins imo

2 paladins:
>110 points, 6 attacks, 6 wounds

3 terminators at 35 ppm
>105 points, 6 attacks, 6 wounds

Its a nice point value, because now termies/pala's are similiarly costeffective, while still having distinct advantadges over eachother.
>Termies are cheaper, give you more bolters
>Palas are more durable vs D2 weapons like plasma, can take more special weapons, are better for buffs like hammerhand and sanctuary, lose their damage output slower, and their seargent hits on 2s

The SC box Venerable Dread only comes with Assault Cannon, Plasma, or Lascannon options for one arm, and Close Combat Weapon for the other if I remember right.

Lascannon is better against stronger stuff like vehicles. Assault cannon is better at weaker/more numerous stuff like infantry. Plasma is great if you have a nearby Captain (or something else that lets you reroll 1s) so you can constantly overcharge it and fuck everything. I like the Assault Cannon because it's fun throwing lots of dice. Dreadnoughts are pretty strong in close combat so having a weapon with a shorter range and more shots and using it as an anti-infantry unit works fairly well.

The close combat arm has the option of adding either a storm bolter or a flamer to it, I like the flamer because it automatically hits, but it's useless outside of its 8" range (similar to my dick) whereas the Storm Bolter can throw out more potential shots at longer ranges.

Down the road I'd recommend picking up left and right dual autocannon arms, and using the Dread as a backfield fire support unit. If you park it somewhere with a solid line of sight over most of the board you can throw out 8 S7 AP-1 2D shots with a 48" range and be hitting on 2s and wounding most infantry on 3s or less.

Basically Dreadnoughts are rad as shit. Always pay the cost to make them Venerable unless you're desperate to save points, for an extra 20pts you get -1 to your BS and WS and you also get a 6+FNP roll (which stacks on top of the 6+ you get if you are playing as Iron Hands).

35ppm wouldnt make them close to strike teams

if they could also cast 2 powers that would be good

Stealth dynasty, morale fucking dynasty, fearless dynasty, that one dynasty with the shittiest trait, that dynasty with a RP trait.

I've solved the GW 8th edition puzzle as soon as CSM came out.

MAXIMUM oVeR YIfF aChIeVEd!!@+!1!+

Probably hiding somewhere in Terra waiting for a chance to have an audience with the Emperor.

>pretty fucked
sure but that's why Guilliman is here, he's got to make some reform and then heroically sacrifice himself to establish the new slightly less shit status quo

Ah yes, just like that stealth Regiment/Hive Fleet, that morale-fucking Regiment/Hive Fleet, that Fearless Hive Fleet, that Regiment with an Order trait... oh wait.

trait Git Off My Lawn = When an enemy unit enters your deployment zone, once per turn, you can shoot at it with the nearest unit as if it were the shooting phase

You jest, but the Iron Hands have posession of his skull (given to them by Rowboat and Dorn in exchange for them submitting to the new codex restrictions put in place at the end of the Horus Heresy) and Fulgrim has already cloned him multiple times.

They could always say that Cawl used some of his plot magic to perfect the cloning process or some bullshit and he could come back.

*Ignores your cover*

It pains me how accurate this might be. Just hope the shitty dynasty isn't Nihilakh because we already got the bad end of the stick with how shitty trazyn is and I am not repainting all of my stuff, that's for sure.

>chilled and nippy

Not sure any of the revealed new stratagems will make a big difference but I'm glad to see a reference to old, like 3rd edition, Space Wolves rules in their stratagem, and maybe somehow making shooty orks maybe plausible.

Not sure the Knight artifact makes it really viable but it is cool af.

I wouldn't be surprised if that actually ends up being nihilakh's trait. screencapped.

*ignores your cover*

>laughingnoisemarines.jpg

>not LaughsInNoise.jpeg

Paladins should be WS +2 at least, if not BS +2. Read the fluff for them, they should be fucking insane.

Are Tau basically chinese?

Fat chance, he fully aware of his symbolic quality. His death would definitely bring Imperium to it's knee.

Prison was in the south pole, Cypher's spent the past century busking at a near by space port so he afford the greyhound to Imperial palace

Cypher's hood works much like superman's glasses Custards are completely unable to identify him

unrelated note, what would happen if Clark Kent dressed up as superman for a haloween party?

Tau are Japanese weebs that lost their eyesight due to excessive masturbation to futanari porn.

...

He is wrong, and trigger for some reason

Tau are a mix of Asian themes, same goes for Eldar. Guys with bloody samurai flags and shurikens.

Friendly reminder that this man will go full Order 66 on the true loyalists
