*Esc. Charms - there may be a time when I am not around to help the Prince. While he is my charge, I will protect those who serve me as well. If Cael should ever find himself in immediate peril, then he will at least have the opportunity to see himself out of it. My wish extends to Queen Ellen, too.

I will need help to build a lasting legacy.

*Admiral Han - Torvalli is untouchable by sea, and the good Admiral is, in part, to thank for it. His contributions to past, if recent, seafaring skirmishes have proven him to be an exceptional commander, reliable ally, and loyal to the Crown. There are few that know the surrounding seas so well as Han, and fewer who can navigate them as deftly, and for that, I remain grateful.
*Eric Keirstrat - among the few alive to rival my wits is the young spymaster. While I cannot discern all that he does as I can with most others, he has time and time again proven to be an asset and friend to the kingdom. I hesitate to ingratiate my networks with his; while it would be alleviating to share the burden of collecting information, I do not know that I fully trust what he should do with my informants while my attentions are diverted.
*Captain Ali - categorically, Ali would fall within the operational leeway the Crown has given me. However, I maintain her as a secret best kept from the Crown. Besides, nobody seems to complain about pirates attacking pirates, or tribal settlements, and the Crown's council is slow to question additional, if unaccounted for, revenue and exotic commodities appearing in the market. Likewise, the Crown understands that shipments of rum, wares, and weapons occasionally vanish, and all for the greater good.
*Lady Sandra - the Prince's charm is to be used when there are no other options in a time of peril. And so long as Sandra persists, options will never be in short supply. I will train her personally and tutor her in all manner of tactic and combat, as well as regional histories and put her in touch with some of my other contacts, so that she may step into my role should anything unforseeable happen to me.

*Corin Thenhall - Torvalli's military presence is an especially naval one. I cannot change that, but I can compensate for this maritime specialization by investing in another: a land-based mercenary company, and a skilled one at that. Their leader is peculiar, but honors his contracts, provided he & his men are paid. I do not think to ask the Crown for financing them. Not yet. I will fund them until they have compiled a list of deeds advancing Torvalli's interests, & then I will introduce them as an equitable asset to the kingdom.
*Willhelm Delthak - Torvalli is an established center of commerce, and is perhaps verging towards its own Golden Age. Naturally, this is due to its bountiful resources and ideal location, but also to those who brought their wealth, wares, and services with them. Willhelm is among the ever-growing list of mercantile nobility to grace the kingdom, but also above it, for he has chosen to invest his own resources into the nation as his immediate interests concern the welfare of Torvalli. While he is ambitious, wanting to maintain permanency within the Crown's council, & interested in expanding his own fortune, he is also loyal. A valuable ally, so long as there is value to his investment.
*Jaime Dawncoast - while Eric and I maintain networks of informants & spies, there are times when subterfuge must be committed through diplomatic subtlety. Lady Jaime acts on behalf of the Crown as an ambassador in nations, dispatched to quell territorial disputes, establish trade routes, and align other foreign influential figures with Torvalli's interests. Occasionally, she procures invaluable information that our spies cannot. Nobody questions how.

My first order of business is to tend the garden; I must determine the motives & interests of the Crown’s council. Then I will fulfill my station, and leave the minutiae errands to Keirstrat; Jaime will be sent to Bleuria and begin laying the groundwork for the possibility of a united kingdom.
