Fantasy Brazil would be cool, a diverse empire full with tropical forests, with huge rivers running through them, titanic mountains and a considerable coastline. Vast, but disjointed, with relatively few actual people due to the lack of plains. Magical temples and warriors spitting poisonous darts and stuff. Some tribes believed that they could harvest the powers of jaguars, which they deified, maybe the fantasy versions can actually do that. I am to lazy to make a build right now though.

First and formost give us fucking numbering on units, cut forces into defensive garrisons and fielded armies. Expand available fortifications and give us options to flesh out multiple cities. Have waifus or political marriages make sense. Cut down the power levels of magic, or possibly create a state religion system. Possibly cut out external nations altogether and have people make nations using the CYOA itself for the CYOA. Lastly reel in cost reductions you can have a billion fucking marines in the current setup.

Personally I really like how he did religion and magic, it really gives you the sense of a mythic, idealized version of some culture, balancing it to much could maybe get in the way of the experience. I would also vote for keeping the external nations

before coming here I checked out hajime no ippo ecause I see thread on /a/ all the time and wanted to see what it was all about.
So I guess I get into an almost exact copy of the real world but I get superpowers.So I do perfectly fine.
Pity because before that I was reading Lum.

For the God placement, i mostly went with a mix of:
-What they've done in their canon,
-their placement in their pantheon,
-how many followers they have

Since YHWH has so many goddamn followers, i put him at the top

In real life gods don't have followers though. Religions do.
Many of your gods are part of a pantheon, in which they would have a power ranking that's independent of their number of personal devotees.
Pluto didn't have much temples devoted to him, but at one point in history he was considered one-third of a triumverate that ruled everything.

A very interesting CYOA! I'd probably go with:

Great NPCs and a persistent timeline with decent gameplay. Low graphics don't matter if the world draws you in and I don't really need a sense of smell or taste as long as I can feel the impact of sword on shield and the cobblestones under my feet. Basically a lower-res Skyrim VR with tactile feedback and much better NPCs.

That graphics is sort of ambigious. Once you get more abstract some mention of art direction becomes more necessary.

The strong faith in the religion fits both themes, naval could be more of japanese, the desert defence more egipcian.
Martial culture is part of the religion, teached from childhood. They learn to be humble, they respect Fauna and Flora like equals (Druidic and Friendly magic). They are a pacific society that prefers the comfy of their fortress instead of go to war.
